I clicked the back button and looked at the next option. It said cultivation techniques. It said ‘Cultivation Techniques’ — the most important part in any novel I’ve read so far. So, I opened it. Inside, there was a text file named “7-Day Body Refinement”.
In that file, it was filled with exercise names and their demonstration using pictures. For the first day, it was horse stance. Duration 2 hours.
That file was like an exercise routine for a week. From the second day, it was respectively, push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats, Pull-ups, Calf-raises, and finally pnk for 2 hours with about 20 kilos of added weight. For those repetition-based exercises, it was 1000 reps.
Honestly, to any normal person, it would sound like grueling training. That day, I realized something important — becoming strong isn’t just hard, it’s brutal. So brutal that some people might rather die than endure it.
What did I do? I had already made up my mind to become strong. So, I got up, mentally prepared myself, and stood in the horse stance.
I was an athletic person. But still, I could only stand for about 20 minutes in the horse stance it showed. But I was determined to push through. I took a 5-minute rest and went at it again. It took me about 17 tries to finally finish that. And after finishing, I was so exhausted that I could hardly move a muscle. But I still needed to take that pill to maximize the effect.
So, I went to the formation lumping and saw the pale blue pill. It looked so beautiful that for a moment, I considered not eating it at all. But when I took that pill, it was like a soothing rush sweeping throughout my body. The fatigue I had from all that exercise was almost gone. But according to the text, I had to lie down for about 20 minutes for it to take effect correctly.
While lying down, I didn’t know when I fell asleep. Probably it was due to the exercise earlier. When I woke up, it was already 10 PM. I was surprised that I slept for 7 hours right after waking up.
Later, I came to learn that the pill makes it easier to fall asleep.
After waking up, I took a bath and freshened up. My body was exhausted earlier, and I expected it to be sore. But it was unexpectedly energetic. I could feel that my muscles were rger than they used to be. That was enough overthinking. I still had to email the school about the reason for my absence, and also needed to do my homework. The night went by, and me doing my homework and reading some novels. Before all that, I remembered to set up the ENA accumution formation. (For anybody wondering)
Day 2,
I went to school and then to a field to py football. There, I noticed my body movements had become smoother. It was to that extent that my friends asked me if I was on something.
Time went by, and I returned home and did the grueling exercise, the 1000 push-ups. But the matter of surprise was that until that day, my personal best had been 70 reps, but that day I did about 120 reps on the first set. That was probably due to the exercise and medicine from the day before. Doing all the exercises took me about one and a half hours. After finishing, I took a bath and ate the pill I’d prepared earlier. Then I took the pill and passed out. I woke up at around 3 AM that night and did all my homework. [reps = reptations]
Days went by with me waking up, doing homework, going to school, sometimes pying sports, coming back home, training, taking a pill, and sleeping. One thing I did notice during that time — my appetite had shot up. A lot.
Day 5: I had started to feel a flow, different from air flowing. Although it was faint, I started to feel it after waking up today. I thought of it as just an illusion back then.
Day 6: The feeling was getting stronger. As if that is sticking to my body.
Day 7: After waking up today. I could feel as though the energy could enter my body. After it enters, it gives the feeling of taking the pill. At that moment, I was sure that it was the mysterious energy ENA.
