Bedtime was nearing. Having nothing else to do, I looker at my tablet with never-ending curiosity. Then the new feature came into mind, along with it came the unnerving desire to check it out. So, I did what I promised I would not: open the tablet.

  This time, I noticed an icon resembling a chat function floating in the bottom right corner.

  ‘This is probably the assistant function.’

  It took me to a window resembling a message app. There was one message written,

  [Hey, Eiren. I am CUI, your chat assistant. My job is to help you navigate easily in the new world and resolve your doubts. Feel free to ask anything.]

  I was ecstatic. I finally got something that can answer my never-ending questions. Curious, I asked, ‘What is ENA?’

  [ENA is the governing force of nature. It is also the reason why life exists on Earth. At its core, it is an energy that governs the bance of the universe.]

  I was kind of mad at the half-hearted and vague response. But thought it could be just a simple chatbot, and I needed to be more specific. So, I rephrased my question to ‘What kind of energy is ENA, and expin it in modern terms?’

  The energy is nothing unfamiliar to your civilization. I found records of this energy in your virtual space, which you call the internet. You call it ‘Dark Energy’]

  This time, the expnation was a lot more informative and understandable. But what surprised me the most was that dark energy was ENA.

  That expins it a lot. From what I heard, the dark energy is a form of energy that doesn’t interact with matter. It only produces gravity. But I was a bit disappointed, I thought that it would be something new and mystical like mana, but it turned out to be purely scientific.
