Chapter 2: The Ten Thousand Realms Chat Group — Say Goodbye to Believer Problems!

Within the Ten Thousand Realms Chat Group, a new name suddenly appeared.

A newcomer had joined the group—and their arrival immediately drew attention from several members.

  [Captain of the Caribbean]:

“Another newcomer, eh? What a glorious day! Come, share your tale while I pour myself a drink!”

  [Demonbde Spirit]:

“Uuuuuh~ Can the newbie send pics? CuteAlert.jpg”

  [Scientific Shinob:

  “Welcome to the group, newcomer…”

  [General L:

“The group’s been more active than usual tely. I’ll say hello properly after I finish this skirmish.”

The Demonbde Spirit chimed in again, pyful as ever:

“Don’t be shy, newbie. I’ll give you a quick rundown!”

“No one knows who created this chat group—but it’s clearly made by some great cosmic force.”

“It connects people from countless different worlds. Most of us come from completely different dimensions.”

“So don’t worry about privacy. You can even change your dispy name if you want.”

“As for chatting, just meditate. Think your message clearly in your mind—and it’ll show up in the chat.”

While listening, Lucian Carter scanned the member list.

So far, there were only six members.

Besides the four already speaking, there were:

  [For Peace]

  [Young Lord of Gusu]

  [Captain of the Caribbean]:

“Tch. Another lurker? Another deep-sea diver? Bah… if the newbie won’t speak, what’s the point?”

“Drinking alone is just sad. I might as well go raid a merchant ship today.”

  [Scientific Shinob:

“You’re a pirate. You lie as easily as you breathe. Aren’t you afraid someone’s going to track you through this chat?”

  [Captain Garrick]:

“And yet here I am. The English Navy wants me every day, but I’m still alive—and still drinking!”

“Being a pirate’s the only way to live, mate!”

  [Demonbde Spirit]:

“Will the two of you shut up already?”

“One of you dissects people all day. The other robs ships like it’s a hobby.”

“If I weren’t so bored, I’d never talk to either of you. Hmph. Angry.jpg”

  [Scientific Shinob:

“Hey now. That was research. I was studying immortality. Everyone has something they chase in life, right?”

  [Scientific Shinob:

“Weren’t you the one who went silent for three months before popping up again? You should be the one welcoming the new guy.”

  [Demonbde Spirit]:

“Tch… he hasn’t even said anything. What do you expect me to do? Pout.jpg”

  [General L:

“Brother, don’t be afraid. They’re a bit odd, but they’re good people at heart.”

  [Captain Garrick]:

“Hey, General! What’s the situation on your side? Did you conquer that city? Or are you still out demon hunting?”

  [General L:

“Neither. I’ve been reassigned to the western border. Ran into a raiding force from the Steppes. The battle just ended.”

  [Scientific Shinob:

“Second Brother, how about our st conversation? Any new thoughts?”

  [General L:

  “Not interested. Not for now.”

Lucian stared at the chat log, brows furrowed, a strange expression on his face.

This group... it almost feels like they all know each other already.

He gnced again at the name floating above the chat window:

  Ten Thousand Realms Chat Group.

“General Li… that has to be Li Shimin,” Lucian muttered thoughtfully.

“Judging by his words, he must still be in the Sui-Tang transition era—so this version of him hasn't yet become emperor.”

“As for the Ninja Scientist, there's no doubt—that has to be Orochimaru. No one else obsesses over the human body like that...”

“The Demonbde Spirit is probably a woman. Her avatar's bnk, but her tone is pyful—maybe she's Beldonna from Sword of the Immortals... or a spirit from some Wuxia world.”

“As for the Pirate of the Caribbean… I have no clue. Could be Jack Sparrow, or someone inspired by him.”

Lucian rubbed his chin, lost in thought.

How do I use them… to open the gates to their worlds?

From the moment he first saw the Ten Thousand Realms Chat Group, he’d been analyzing it. But so far, he hadn’t found any leads.

One thing was certain: neither Orochimaru nor Li Shimin were naive. They were both cautious and shrewd. Gaining their trust wouldn’t be easy.

  But that didn’t matter.

Because each member of this chat group… represented an entire world.

Even better, these worlds weren’t yet developed or dominated by other gods.

“If I can develop them—convert their people into my believers—they’ll provide a constant stream of faith energy,” Lucian whispered.

  That was the key.

He didn’t need to conquer anything. He just needed the right method to demonstrate divine power—enough to make them believe.

  That day, Lucian went silent.

Just like the other two lurking members in the group.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Then, two neatly organized documents appeared in front of him—his pns for outreach and belief cultivation, finalized.

Lucian looked at the still-lively Ten Thousand Realms Chat Group.

And finally, he sent his first message.

  [Eternal]:

“I am Eternal. I have awakened the Supreme God’s Divine Realm, but I still ck believers.”

“Those who worship me shall gain eternal life, be spared from disaster and ruin, and walk the path of transcendence.”

For a moment, the group chat went completely silent.

  [Demonbde Spirit]:

“Bro… are you drunk or something?”

  [Captain Garrick]:

“I thought this guy was interesting, but he just started spouting nonsense. CowPoo.jpg”

  [General L:

  “Brother… that joke wasn’t funny.”

At that very moment, General Li stood atop the city wall, his soldiers watching the horizon. A vast army was gathering on the prairie.

  But his attention?

Fully focused on the chat group.

He believed in local nd gods, sure.

But immortality? From some newcomer online? Not a chance.

This had to be an imposter. Or worse—a demon trying to deceive them.

  Then, suddenly—

  A new message popped up.

  [Scientific Shinob:

  “Immortality, you say?”

“Friend, tell me—what’s your method? I’m… very interested.”
