  After a while when Lian opens her eye she finds herself in a cave and Kai and Lee were sleeping near her. Lian smiles on seeing them fine and stands up and went out, she drinks water from river and began to think about Vespera.

  Lian: Vespera’s power is so much, how I will defeat her; I think Vespera is the one who smiled weirdly when Grandma met her, but she seems to be very familiar. I think I have some relation with her, she gave us the chance to run but there is no one to give answer to my question, I have to improve my light power to defeat her as light has much effect on dark.

  Lian was thinking and on the other side Lee and Kai wakes up and began very worried as Lian was not inside the cave.

  Vespera: Lian you have to stay here for one month.

  Lain: engagement is of one day and you want us to stay for one month, why?

  Vespera: for both wedding and engagement.

  Lian: okay.

  They all begin to prepare for everything; Marcus comes and also helps Vespera.

  In the night everyone comes and enjoys the ceremony. Everyone was wearing masks as it was the tradition in Vampires including Lian and her friends, only bride and her family member (Parents) and groom and his family members (Parents) don’t wear mask. Both Marcus and Vespera exchanged engagement rings with each other and then the music starts and everyone begin to dance. During dance except bride and groom everyone is changing their partner. Lian changes her partner too and when she went to other partner and grab his hand, she felt something her own. Lian want to know who is this person, who is behind the mask?

  Lian: Mr. Mask man, who are you?

  Mask man: My name is Liam and I am friend of Marcus, by the way who are you?

  Liam has grey eyes, dark brown hair and white complexion.

  Lian: My name is Lian Shen and I am cousin of Vespera.

  Lian says in her mind, my brother and his name is same could he be my brother, he left me alone, he didn’t think that how I am going to stay without him, Grandma always says I may go soon you should marry Lee, if she go I will have no one with me, mother, father and Grandpa have left me alone as they are no more but he is still alive and don’t even come to see me how I am, I don’t even remember his face, I just want to say that I love him so much even if he is not my real brother.

  Liam: Sorry! In which thought you are?

  Lian: oh I am sorry! Your name reminds me of someone important to me.

  Liam: my name reminds you of whom?

  Lian: my big brother.

  Liam: Doesn’t he live with you?

  Lian was going but Liam grabs her hand and says.

  Liam: if you really want to go you can go but before going can you please give me a last hug.

  Lian hugs Liam and went. Lee came near Lian as she was upset and was in the corner of the crowded hall.

  Lian put off her mask and says.

  Lian: Lee actually he was like my brother and his name is Liam too but he is from Dark A and because of that I am upset.

  Lee: Because of him you remember your brother Liam.

  Lian: actually I think I lied to you.

  Lee: which lie?

  Lian: I lied that my brother is not good, he was so much good, I don’t remember him much but I know that he loves his family and he will return soon, my father and Grandma didn’t tell me the reason why he left but I will bring him back and I will find the truth soon.

  Lee: Lian I am always with you and don’t ever think that you are alone I will be by your side till my death.

  Lian: Lee I love you; but I am kind of alone.

  Lee: don’t worry I will always be by your side, Lian shouldn’t we enjoy the ceremony.

  Lian: okay let’s have a glace of vine.

  Liam was seeing Lian and says to himself: you have grown a lot, we shall meet soon.

  Lee: Lian if your brother has some reasons to leave the house, your new friend Liam will also have.

  Lian: you are right but I don’t want to arrest him, so I decide to keep distance.

  Lee: I think you are over drunk.

  Lee and Lian were talking like that and then Vespera comes and says.

  Lian: so should we go back tomorrow.

  Vespera: as per tradition it is after one week.

  Lian: okay we shall stay here for wedding.

  Vespera: Lian I am so sorry for hurting you so much, I don’t have any other choice.

  Vespera: You know everything.

  Lian: I mean, aunt said you to do that and I don’t know what the reason of doing so was.

  Lee: sorry for disturbing the conversation but we have to go and sleep.

  Vespera: okay Lian lets go and sleep.

  Kai, Liam and Marcus come and Marcus says.

  Marcus: let’s go to our rooms, oh sorry! Kai, Lian and Lee it is my friend Liam.

  Everyone says hello.

  Lian: Mr. Marcus seven days, seven nights but you are still same.

  Marcus: You haven’t forgotten that.

  Lee: what are these seven days and seven nights?

  Lian: it is nothing.

  But when Lian stands up she feel dizzy and says I am not fine, the blade has poison on it.

  Lee: Lian are you okay, Vespera we need a doctor as soon as possible, the scratch and her eye’s down area is turning blue.

  Lian: Do we really need a doctor, I am okay.

  Kai: Liar, I know it hurts and you are trying to hide.

  Lian: okay! You got me.

  They took Lian inside the room; the doctor comes and treats Lian. Doctor came out of the room and says.

  Doctor: Lian is out of danger now, that poison was so much dangerous for Vampires and Witches, if it has touched you a little Vespera you may have died.

  Lee: Doctor she will become alright.

  Doctor: It will take her one week to become alright and the blue colour will take nearly one month to go and one more thing was her hand fractured?

  Lee: yes it was but it was nearly healed.

  Doctor: the poison infected her arm first as it was a little injured and her arm will take more time to heal but she will not be able to use sword and other things that need hard force from her right arm and hand.

  Lee: thanks doctor.

  Doctor tells them the medicines and went. Everyone go inside the room to see Lian. Lian was making sad face and angry face.

  Lee: how you are feeling?

  Lian: Very funny, I mean I am okay.

  Kai: are you thinking something.

  Lian: No, or maybe.

  Vespera: Thanks!

  Lian: as an officer it is my duty, you don’t have to say thanks.

  Kai: Are you okay.

  Lian: I knew that, it will be easy to fool you all.

  Lee: What?

  Lian: Marcus bet me to fool you all and I fooled you by showing that I have lost mind.

  Vespera: Marcus.

  Marcus: I just do that to change her mind.

  Vespera: okay! Lian you should sleep and get rest to recover soon.

  Lian: You want me to sleep early with these killing eyes.

  Vespera: Killing eyes, the blue colour will take one month to go and you have to take rest.

  Lian: Okay! I will take rest.

  Everyone leaves Lian alone in the room so that she can take rest. But Lian begins to do something. Lian speaks to herself.

  Lian: Why did someone attack Vespera, why did Grandma lie to me, why aunt is keeping secrets from me, what I have to accept? Oh! So many questions, I want someone right now to talk with me. But who will come right now, I got an idea, dragon can come. He has grown much to use human form magic. Should I call him?

  Lian thinks about dragon and call a whistle. After a while dragon comes in human form. Lian stands up and hugs dragon. They start their talk.

  Dragon: It’s been a long time no seen.

  Lian: Yeah! I am so happy to see you right now; actually I need company right now.

  Dragon: On which thing you want to talk.

  Lian: I want to ask some questions.

  Dragon: go and ask.

  Lian: Why did someone attack Vespera, why did Grandma lie to me, why aunt is keeping secrets from me, what I have to accept?

  Dragon: Lian it’s a lot but I start giving answer one by one.

  Lian: Okay! Start.

  Dragon: Someone have attacked Vespera because he want to kill her, he may have some dilemma with Vespera.

  Lian: you will be right.

  Dragon: Grandma said lie to you; she may have reasons of doing so. Your aunt is keeping secrets, she may also have reasons and what you have to accept, I don’t know.

  Lian: I think I have accept that Liam is not my real brother, he is not coming back for me.

  Dragon: why you thinking so negative, you believe that he love you?

  Lian: Yes I believe.

  Dragon: if you believe that he loves you, he will come back one day.

  Lian: Yeah! Sure.

  Dragon: Well! How was the engagement?

  Lian: Are you spying at me?

  Dragon: No, no I am not.

  Lian: It was okay, but how do you know about it.

  Dragon: we are connected, don’t you know.

  Lian: I am having fun while talking with you but I think you should leave as it is very late.

  Dragon: I think you are right, okay bye I am going, one thing.

  Lian: what?

  Dragon: call me whenever you need me.

  Lian: Yeah sure! Bye!

  Dragon: Okay bye! Take care.

  Dragon went and Lian sits on the bed and thinks but suddenly someone knocks the door and says can I come in?

  Lian: Yeah! Sure Lee comes in.

  Lee: How do you know that it was me?

  Lian: I know your voice.

  Lee: You haven’t slept yet.

  Lian: You also haven’t.

  Lee: actually I was thinking about you so then I decide to come and talks with you as I know you haven’t slept.

  Lian: what did you heard?

  Lee: saying goodbye to dragon.

  Lian: only that or something else too.

  Lee: only that.

  Lian: Okay!

  Lee sits beside Lian and grabs her hand and says.

  Lee: will you please tell me your problem, if you share it; I think I can try to help.

  Lian: the truth, I have to accept is that, my brother is never coming back.

  Lee: you believe that he loves his family, so it simply means he will come back.

  Lian: Yeah! But Dragon said the same.

  Lee: Oh! I think we should change the topic.

  Lian: on which topic shall we talk?

  Lee: we should talk about each other.

  Lee comes closer to Lian and gives her a hug, to ensure her that he is with her.

  Tomorrow when everyone wakes up, Lian kicks Lee out from the room. Everyone sits in the dining hall for meal; there were Kai, Lee, Lian, Marcus, Vespera, Aunt Vampera, and Liam in the dining hall.

  Kai: Lian why did you kick Lee out from your room.

  Vespera: Lian you kicked Lee out.

  Lian: Oh! Kai you see that.

  Kai: Yes!

  Lian: I kicked him as he did something that I don’t like.

  Lee: Kai you don’t have to take interest in it, it was nothing just forget it.

  Marcus: Lian how is your health.

  Lian: I am perfectly alright, better than ever I was.

  Aunt Vampera: Lian tell the truth, don’t make fun of the question he asked.

  Lian: okay! I am better, I have a little headache but I am alright.

  Aunt Vampera: Marcus when you and your friend Liam are going back.

  Marcus: After breakfast we are going.

  Lian: Going so early.

  Marcus: Don’t worry, we shall come back soon.

  Lian: Yeah! After a weak!

  Everyone laughs and after the breakfast Marcus and Liam leaves.

  Next day, Lian tries to wake up early and goes in the room of her Aunt and everyone was there.

  Aunt Vampera: Lian don’t you have to came one hour early?

  Lian: Sorry! I tried to wake up early but all in vain.

  Everyone were listening the conversation between Vampera and Lian.

  Aunt Vampera: Lian now you can ask every question you want to ask.

  Lian: Why you keep secrets and why Grandma lied.

  Aunt Vampera: I did all that on your Grandma’s saying.

  Lian: what did she said to you.

  Aunt Vampera: Actually the story of Vampire Witches Grandma told to you was a lie.

  Lian: All that was a lie.

  Aunt Vampera: Yes! You know the real story, your uncle become a Vampire to marry me and he had been killed by some bad guys.

  Lian: I know! Why did Grandma Lied to send me here?

  Aunt Vampera: She wants you to get married.

  Lian: But why?

  Aunt Vampera: We know you are waiting for Liam to come; she wants you to understand he is not coming for you, she planned this all to make you come here, Vespera hurt you so that you understand if even someone hurts you he is not coming.

  Lian: Why I can’t wait for him?

  Aunt Vampera: How long Lian, How much Grandma will survive, one or three years more or more than that, if she died how will you live, how will you get marry, do you want stay alone for whole life until Liam comes.

  Lian: You all want me to get marry soon, I can’t, I am not ready to take so many responsibilities.

  Aunt Vampera: You can do that.

  Lian: I need my brother by my side.

  Aunt Vampera: Lian but!

  Lian: Why did Grandma said my faith is calling?

  Aunt Vampera: She said so to convince Lee and Kai.

  They were talking like that suddenly a strange sound came from the hall, everyone went to see but there was nothing.

  Lian: What was that sound?

  Lee: It was a call to make us come down.

  Vespera: What!

  Suddenly a strange smoke came behind Lian, when the smoke disappear a strange lady came, her name was Cannolon Kan and a Vampire Witch.

  Vespera: why are you here Cannolon Kan?

  Cannolon Kan: I am the one who attacked you as you are marrying the one I love.

  Cannolon Kan uses her power and makes shadow monsters, she orders them to catch everyone except Lian. She traces her long nail on Lian’s neck and says.

  Cannolon: Lian, it is your entire fault that you saved Vespera.

  Lian: It was my duty to safe her and I will not let you, you did wrong to come here.

  Cannolon: Lian, don’t even try to move if you do so my nail will inject poison in you and you will die in a sec.

  Vespera: Why are you doing so?

  Cannolon: to take revenge from Lian, she saved your Life.

  Lian was feeling a bit unwell because of the scare on her face, the poison was of Cannolon so that she attack Lian’s mind. Suddenly Lian lost consciousness and fell down.

  Cannolon: She is very weak, don’t you all take care of her.

  Lee: What happened to Lian?

  Cannolon: She is fine, you don’t need be worried Lee.

  Vampera: What do you want Cannolon?

  Cannolon: Give me the red ruby, which will make me beautiful more than I am.

  Vampera: I will give you the red ruby but you have to leave everyone.

  Cannolon: Okay!

  Cannolon leaves everyone and take the red ruby after taking it she disappears. When Lian wakes up, she was in the room and everyone was in the room.

  Lian: what happened?

  Lee: She had gone.

  Lian: but how?

  Vespera: We gave her the red ruby and in return she releases us all.

  Lian: Why did you listen to her?

  Kai: As you lost consciousness.

  Lee: why did you lose consciousness?

  Lian: I feel congested and just lost consciousness.

  Vampera: Lian you take rest and take care of yourself.

  Lian: Okay!

  Days passed and the wedding of Vespera came. Everything was perfectly right. Both bride and groom said yes and accept each other as husband and wife. Everyone enjoyed the wedding.

  After one day of wedding, everyone came including, Marcus and his friend Liam, Lian and her friends and Vespera and her mother. Suddenly Lian sees her phone and finds that Jiang is calling, she picks up the phone and says.

  Lian: Hello Jiang!

  Jiang: Lian where are you.

  Lian: What happened?

  Jiang: Grandma’s health is not right, she is in the hospital, and I and Leenoi are there you come too. Lian cuts the call and says.

  Lian: Aunt we have to leave.

  Lee: What happened?

  Lian: Grandma’s health is not right, she is in the hospital.

  Vampera: Lian I am coming with you.

  Vespera and Marcus: We are coming too.

  Liam: I am too.

  They all go the hospital where Grandma was admitted.

  Lian: Jiang can I go inside?

  Jiang: Yes you can.

  Lian goes inside and everyone was outside the room.

  Lee: Jiang, what happened to Grandma?

  Jiang: Me and Leenoi were going to invite Grandma for Launch, when she opens the door, she said us to come in, when she was taking us inside she fell down, we take her to the hospital.

  Lee: What did the doctor said?

  Jiang didn’t replies, Lee says

  Lee: What did the doctor said Jiang.

  Jiang still didn’t rely.

  Leenoi: Grandma has very less time.

  Lee: How?

  Leenoi: She is very old.

  Vampera: There is nothing we can do.

  Leenoi: We can’t do anything.

  Everyone was very sad and inside the room Lian was talking with Grandma.

  Lian: Grandma, are you alright.

  Grandma: I am okay! Lian I am sorry for lying with you, I want you to accept the truth that is why I said Vampera and Vespera to do that.

  Lian: It’s okay! You don’t have to apologies, you done for my own good.

  Grandma: Lian I want to tell you about your Brother Liam.

  Lian: Yeah sure! Tell me.

  Grandma: We adopted him; he is from Moon Light Empire and Lian.

  Lian: Grandma, Grandma!

  In front of Lian’s eye Grandma stopped breathing, Lian checks her Grandma’s pulse but all in vain. Lian comes out and Lee asks her what happened, Lian doesn’t reply, seeing Lian silent doctors understand what happened and they went in the room to see Grandma, after few minutes doctors come out and says we are sorry, hearing this Lian fells down.

  After the Funeral procession, Lian still didn’t say a single word. Everyone was very worried about her. In the night, Lian’s Aunt was tired of doing work all the day so she went to sleep, Vespera, Marcus, Liam, Kai, Jiang, Leenoi and Lee was sitting in the room and in the balcony Lian was sitting and drinking, Everyone was talking and Lian was in the balcony.

  Lee: What should we do now?

  Kai: Don’t have any ideas.

  Jiang: I think Lian should stay with us until she marry with you Lee.

  Marcus: I also think the same, if she stay with you, no one will force her to get marry.

  Lee: But the problem right now is she is still silent.

  Vespera: Among us there is someone who can convince her.

  Leenoi: Who?

  Vespera: Liam!

  Liam: What! Me, are you for real.

  Vespera: Yes! You are the only one who can convince her, you are like brother.

  Liam: But how can I?

  Marcus: You can do this, you are strong.

  Everyone forces Liam to go and talk to her.

  Liam: On one condition.

  Jiang and Leenoi: Okay!

  Liam goes and asks Lian.

  Liam: Are you okay.

  Liam: Why you are here?

  Lian: I want some time alone.

  Liam: Shouldn’t you come in the room and spend some time with others.

  Lian: Not in mood of coming.

  Liam: I want to tell you something.

  Lian: Go Ahead! Tell.

  Liam: I was in the Dark A, but now I am not in it, I am a WCIA agent; they send me in the Dark A, now Dark A is no more, so I am back at work.

  Lian: You don’t have to be so confused while telling me.

  Liam: Okay!

  Lian: Yeah! She told me that they adopted you, you are from Moon Light Empire and then she said Lian.

  Liam: What next?

  Lian: She stopped talking.

  Liam: Oh! Will you please give me a favor?

  Lian: Yeah sure! Tell me.

  Liam: Don’t tell anyone about me until I come back.

  Lian: Okay! I want to ask something.

  Liam: Go ahead and tell me.

  Leenoi: Hey! You all don’t tease her.

  Vespera: Liam, I, mom, Marcus and Liam are going back tomorrow, if you want to stay with mom you can.

  Lian: Thanks for asking, but I will stay with Jiang and Leenoi, if they don’t mind.

  Jiang: Why we shall mind, you are always welcome and there is good news for you.

  Lian: What!

  Jiang: A new member is coming in our family.

  Leenoi: A baby.

  Lian: Whose baby is coming?

  Leenoi: Jiang!

  Jiang: You are going to be an Aunt, I am going to be dad.

  Lian: Oh! Wow! It’s great news.

  Marcus: All that happened, you still the same.

  Lian: Wow!

  Everyone laughs.

  Tomorrow Vespera, Aunt Vampera, Marcus, Liam, everyone go backs and Lian shift in Jiang house.

  Lian felt a mix of sadness and excitement. Her grandma was gone, but she had a new path. The Moon Light Empire called to her. It was a place of mystery and maybe, just maybe, a place to find her brother's real parents. With a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit, she stepped into the unknown.
