Three months had passed since Lian's grandmother's death, and while the weight of grief was beginning to lighten, it still cast a long shadow over her life. Living with Jiang and following Liam's advice, Lian decided to go to the Moon Light Empire and began preparations for the journey.

  One day, Kai, Lee, and Lian gathered at Jiang's house. Lian talked about going to the Moon Light Empire.

  Lian: Lee, after Grandma’s death I know I am not perfectly alright but I want to go to the Moon Light Empire.

  Lee: But why?

  Lian: Grandma told me about the Moon Light Empire.

  Kai: Lian is right Lee we should go to the Moon Light Empire.

  Lee: Okay, but we shall go after a week.

  Man: You leave your car here and can take horse from us, price is $30, for three of you, and one horse is of $10.

  Kai gives money and address to the man, and take two horse. On one horse Kai and Lee sits and on one Lian sits. They start travelling in the forest and talked while travelling.

  Lian: Why we are going on horses?

  Kai: As car can’t go in forest.

  Lee: Not too much, when we cross the forest, Moon Light Empire will come.

  Kai: Lian why are you so silent and tired.

  Lian: It is not like that, I am kind of nervous.

  Lee: You are nervous?

  Lian: Yeah!

  Kai: Why!

  Lian: It is a new place.

  Kai: You went to many countries and many places and you are nervous in going to Moon Light Empire.

  Kai: We are WCIA officers and we are here to do some work.

  The Guard salutes them and says.

  Lian, Lee and Kai were finally in the WCIA cottage.

  The clock struck 3 and the competition began. There will be 7 competitions and 11 participators and the one who will win most points, will be considered the heir of the throne.

  He shows good quality in both archery and riding.

  He was both awesome in horse riding and archery.

  (Points: 9/10)

  Umpire: Well done Mr. Longi, everyone knows you are brother of second commander; there were no chances that you can lose.

  Shun: Thanks!

  When Shun go back to the place where every participator was Lian says.

  Lian: You were awesome!

  Shun: Thanks Sister!

  Lian: Now you are, understanding me brother.

  Shun: You are calling be brother, it is nice to hear, thanks Lian.

  Lian: Thanks for what?

  Shun: Thanks for being here!

  Lian: You are welcome!

  Lian to herself: I kind of didn’t understand, but who cares.

  Umpire: Next participator please!

  Participator 4:

  Name: Lui Caim.

  An unknown participator with green eyes, black and little curly hair, white complexion and he knows about Lian very well, he sits on the horse and stands on it and then shoot the arrow to the target. His aim was perfect. He got every target perfectly.

  Umpire: Very good Mr. Caim, your skills are awesome.

  Lui: Thanks!

  After this when he goes back, he throws a rose towards Lian.

  Seeing that Lee was going to pull his gun to kill him but Liya and Kai somehow stops him.

  Lian: I think your eye sight is not right, you have thrown rose on a wrong person.

  Lui: Oh! I think I thrown on a girl but you comes out to be a wrong person.

  Everyone begins to laugh at Lian.

  Lian: Don’t make fun of me, you don’t know me?

  Lian sits on the horse and starts riding.

  Lian was feeling a quite nervous while riding but she believes herself and stands up on the horse and aim the target, her aim was perfect, she got all the targets. Everyone was shocked to see Lian skills a girl. To win from Lui, Lian closes her eyes, standing on the horse while riding; she moves her bow towards the target.

  Everyone is saying it is not possible and there was risk of falling down from the horse, King Lucas and Queen Lorain were also quite worried on this action.

  Lian talks a long breath and then leave the arrow, everyone was thinking will she be able to do that?

  When Lian opens her eye she sees her arrow has hit the target.

  Everyone claps and Lian’s friends take sigh of relief.

  Umpire: Miss. Shen you were extraordinary awesome, will you please tell us how you did that?

  Lian: All the credit goes to Mr. Horse.

  Umpire: It is so kind of you, that you are giving all the credit to the Horse but we want to know how you did that.

  Lian: I did that believing in me and my horse, I treated him as a friend not as a rider, he believed me and let me do all that.

  Umpire: Your thinking is very unique; you have done great, once more congratulations.

  Lian’s goes back to the place where every participator was.

  Lian: I told you Lui, I will show you and I did!

  Lui: I agree! You did what you said, but I didn’t expect that you can go so far.

  Lian: You teased me, if you really know me you would know that if someone teases me, to give him answer, I always cross limits.

  Lui: I know you can cross limits but I didn’t know that you can go so far, didn’t even think about yourself.

  Lian: Who you are to tell me to think about myself?

  Lui: I can’t tell!

  Lian: What!

  Lian was going to attack him but Zang and Shun stops her.

  Shun: Lian calm down!

  Lian: Okay! But tell him to stop.

  Zang: Lui stop teases her.

  Lian calms down and sits on her seat.

  Umpire: Next participator, please come.

  Participator 6:

  Name: Suni Mon.

  He sits on the horse, his horse riding was okay but he was able to hit only a single target.

  Umpire: Mr. Mon thanks for participating. Next participator, please come.

  Participator 7:

  Name: Anal Kom.

  He shows good skills of both horse riding and archery.

  (Points: 7/10)

  Umpire: Well Done! Mr. Kom. Next participator, please come.

  Participator 8: Tata Lur.

  His horse riding was extraordinary awesome but his aim was out of order.

  (Points: 5.5/10)

  Umpire: Next participator, please come.

  Participator 9:

  Name: Rang Jong.

  Can’t believe he was better in archery then Lian but when he starts riding he falls from the horse.

  (Points: 6/10)

  Audience began to laugh.

  Umpire: Mr. Jong Great archery but riding is out of order.

  Rang: No! It is not like that, I am scared of horse.

  Umpire: We are really sorry to hear that. Next participator, please come.

  Rang goes back, some participators were making fun of him, but Lian says.

  Lian: Mr. Rang your archery skills are outstanding, I had never seen someone so skilled in archery, it doesn’t matter you are not good in riding, when I wasn’t an officer I was scared of horses too.

  Rang: Thanks Lian, you really know how to make someone happy and call me just Rang not Mr. Rang.

  Lian: Okay! I will try to call you just Rang.

  Lian and Rang becomes good friend while the next participator was troubling with riding and archery.

  Participator 10:

  Name: Youman Wan.

  He fells from the horse and but somehow he was able to hit one target.

  Umpire: Next participator, please come.

  Participator 11:

  Name: Frost Lain.

  He got some special skills; he was both good in riding and archery.

  (Points: 8.9/10)

  Umpire was going to announce the next competition but suddenly it begins to rain, so the Umpire announces that the competition will start tomorrow, participators and their friends and relatives will stay in the Castle’s guest area.

  Everyone go there, Lian and Lee were staying in the guest area of castle and Kai have went back to Seoul as he got call from the head quarter for some important case and Liya is staying somewhere else in the castle, which is special for princesses.

  Everyone had their own room; there were two rows of room 6 on one side and 7 on other side.

  The room in which Lian was sating is in the middle of Lee’s and Lui’s room. In front of it Shun’s room is and besides it was the room of Shun brother Zang, he was there to make everything order and other participators were in the other rooms.

  All the participants have to dinner together in the same dining hall.

  At night, in the dining hall everyone was eating and Lian was feeling quite nervous as she was a single girl between everyone.

  Shun: Lian, why are you not eating.

  Lian: I am full.

  Shun: You haven’t eat a single thing and you are full.

  Lee: He is right, is there something wrong you can tell.

  Lian: Before coming here I met him, I seen him after so many year and for first time, my brother first time ask me to do something, how I can say no to him, I know for everyone he is not good, he left his family because he is not our family’s real member, no one understand he has reasons.

  Queen Lorain: I am sorry Lian! I hurt your feeling.

  Lian: It is okay, you didn’t hurt my feelings.

  Queen Lorain: You love your brother a lot.

  Lian: Yes I do, I am here because of him and my Grandma.

  Queen Lorain: You are here because of your Grandma and brother.

  Lian: the last words of my Grandma were Moon Light Empire, and my brother said his real family will be here and if I try to find them we can have a new family, a mom and a dad.

  Queen Lorain: You have your brother only.

  Lian: Yes.

  Queen Lorain: Is your brother from Moon Light Empire.

  Lian: Yes! Grandma told that.

  Queen Lorain want to ask more but Lian begin cry, her old and painful memories came back to her mind, and she excuse everyone and leave the dining hall.

  King Lucas: Everyone can go to their rooms, the competition will start tomorrow, you all are allowed to see the castle but can’t see the restricted areas.

  Everyone leaves and Lee, Shun and Rang begin to find Lian as she wasn’t in her room.

  There was a small and beautiful lake beside the castle and Lian was sitting near it. Lian was throwing stones in the lake and was talking to herself.

  Lian: I knew that I will get emotional, but it’s true it is painful to think about mom, dad, grandpa and grandma, I lost them all but I still have Brother Liam by my side.

  Lian begin to play her flute, the tune of flute make the King Lucas and Queen Lorain want see who is playing, when they reach out side they saw Lian, Queen Lorain was going to ask Lian but King Lucas stopped her as it is not the right moment. When Lian stops play Lee, Shun and Rang came and asks her what you are doing here we have been looking for you everywhere.

  Lian: Can’t you see?

  Lee: Please Lian.

  Lian: I was need of some space that is why I am here, this place is quite perfect for emotions to flow in there rhythm.

  Rang: I didn’t understand that?

  Shun: You are not going to.

  Lian: Why were all of you finding me?

  Lee, Shun and Rang: We were worried about you.

  Lian was thinking all that suddenly someone knocks the door and Lian says.

  King Lucas and Queen Lorain were on the door. They sit on the sofa and Lian sits on the bed in front of them. Lian was a little confuse as she don’t know how to treat royals.

  Queen Lorain: Lian, you don’t have to treat us like royals, treat us as your parents.

  Lian: Sorry! I really don’t know how to do these royal protocols.

  King Lucas: It is okay! If you don’t mind can we ask something?

  Queen Lorain: How taught you to play flute?

  Everyone was going but Lee was still there.

  Lee: It is going to take long.

  Guard: Okay Sir! Show us you’re ID and who invited you?

  Liam shows his ID to Guard and tell.

  After hearing and checking the ID Guard allows Liam to come in. A guard also informs the King and Queen that Liam has come.

  Liam begins to find Lian, but couldn’t able, after finding for 15 minutes, he was exhausted, he was unable to find her because everyone was wearing mask. So, he calls Lian, when Lian picks up the phone and Liam says.

  Lian: I am in the hall.

  Liam: for real, I am here and tired searching you everywhere.

  Lian: How I am going to find you?

  Liam: That is why I called you.

  Lian: Actually, I am lost myself finding Lee and others.

  Lian sees here and there and then she sees Liam as he has put off his mask for Lian, Lian stands up and runs towards Liam and hugs him, what a beautiful moment for the two of them but on the other side, everyone who knows that Lian is engaged to Lee were thinking why she is hugging someone else, no one knows that the one she is hugging is her brother. Shun and Rang were also teasing Lee saying that Lian is hugging someone, Lee was quite worried too but when he sees the face of the one who was hugging Lian, he comes to know that it is Liam and then he says.

  Hearing shouting’s, Zing with some soldiers come inside the room and ask.

  Zing: What happened?

  Liam: It is a mouse.

  Zing: A mouse?

  Lian: Yeah! Catch it.

  Zing: Soldiers catch it and throw it out.

  The soldiers do that and Lee, Shun and Rang came there. Everyone sits on the sofa and Lian and Liam sits on the bed. Zing was staring them and everyone was silent.

  Zing: Both of you are talented WCIA officers, not even scared of death but you two are scared of mouse.

  Lian: It is scary to look at.

  Liam: Yes it is.

  Zing: It doesn’t make any sense.

  Lian: What sense you want to make?

  Shun: What is so scary in it, you are not scare of most dangerous fighter of Moon Light Empire but you are scared of mouse.

Everyone had their breakfast and go to the dance and music room. Liam, Liya and Lee were sitting on the chairs and King and Queen were also. Every participator was there for the competition.

  Third Competition:

  Umpire announces that the third competition is royal partner dance. For every one of you there is a partner girl and for you Lian, I am sorry I just forget.

  Zing: I will do dance with Lian.

  Umpire: So there are partners for all of you, you all start dance and marks of everyone will be announced later.

  Umpire: This competition is ended and the next competition will be on the 18th of march as it is Moon Light Empire history test, you all have today’s day, 17th march for preparations.

  Everybody says what a history test. Lian was talking with her friends and brother.

  Lian: A history test, it means we have to study.

  Rang: How we are going to we are not even the citizens of Moon Light Empire!

  Shun: You have today’s and tomorrow’s day time.

  After the breakfast Lian and Liam go to the doctor room.

But King and Queen were very happy to eat cake from Liam’s hand. Everyone was enjoying the party. Lian goes near Lui’s back, just a little near she wasn’t touching him and she say.

What Grandma want me to do, I wish I could talk with her more.

  After thinking all that she fell asleep.

  By noticing the cloudy weather, he cooks flitters with mint sauce. His dish was quite tasty.

  He doesn’t know cooking much, so he makes some boiled egg with some different types of sauce. His sauces were tasty and that is why he gets okay marks.

  He cooks chicken BBQ. It was very tasty.

  Name: Lui Caim.

  He cooks Chinese rice. They were very tasty.

  Name: Lian Shen.

  She wasn’t in mood of cooking and her mind was also somewhere else, so she cooks simple ice and fire chicken soup. It was good but there was something missing, a taste which make dishes tasty. She didn’t get good points.

  He makes a cake, it was very tasty but salty dishes were tastier then it.

  He don’t know cooking a little bit, his dish was terrible in taste.

  He cooks Chinese pasta and it was quite fining not very tasty.

  He cooks steamed chicken. It was very good.

  He cooks very unique dish of tofu. It was very unique and good in taste.

  Name: Frost Lain.

  He makes Orange Ice-Cream; it was very good in taste.

  Competition ends and empire says result will be announced tomorrow, as the competition ends everyone was talking with each other but Lian was somewhere else, lost in her own world, suddenly Lian says.

  After listening all that Lian fells unconscious in arms of Lee.

  When Lian opens her eye, she sees Lee sitting beside her.
