I had to stifle my voice from leaking as I stared her down. The stronger the parent, the stronger the child, and the mayor was also the sheriff of the tiny vilge. He was at least an uncommon css, possibly even higher, and it showed in his daughter's beauty. Slightly taller than me, with blue eyes and blonde hair from her elven mother. She was the definition of beauty.

  Her bubbly attitude and big smile kept my eyes from dropping down to her ample chest. I had only seen her from behind so far, and even with just that, I wish my memory or painting job were higher. I remembered to breathe as I completely missed what she just said. She shook two packets towards me before asking again. “Can you grow these? I see the produce you… Produce and would like some better blueberries and strawberries.”

  I put on my best smile before answering her. “Of course I can. Building towards better quality crops as well, so I should be able to make better than you’re used to.” She bounced up and down, making her breasts jiggle. The erection I was trying to hide sprang free, pitching a tent as I dropped my pte of food to cover it up. God damn, that was embarrassing.

  She either didn’t notice or completely ignored what just happened as she waited for me to stand up and handed me the packets of seeds. I watched her walk back towards her house, once again wishing I could immortalize that moment forever with a painting. The stick figure with big boobs I could draw wouldn’t help but make me ugh at how bad I sucked at painting.

  First thing was first, then… I needed to expand my plots to pnt these today. It took all my fatigue and eating a special regeneration meal to get them pnted. The blueberries might not even bloom this year, but it’s still fairly early into spring. Just growing them will guarantee years of blueberries. I just wondered why more farmers didn’t go from town to town pnting long-lived things like these bushes or fruit trees. There was probably a reason, though.

  Fuck if I knew. I did want to get some fruit trees eventually, but it was too high of an upfront cost for how long it’ll take for them to start producing. As the days went by and I grew more accustomed to this living, I thought about what else I could do to make money… Pickling and bottling food to sell ter. I loved pickles, but I needed to go back to the other vilge for more options.

  I decided when I could get away for a few days to head and expand my options again. I had almost made the second field, and with everything growing on the first two besides the blueberries and strawberries, it meant I had room for four or five other options. After I hit twenty-five and looked at the skill selection, I’d worry about it.

  I started to build up a bit of money… I could buy a night with a dy… Something just seemed wrong with that idea, though. I guess I just wanted my first time to be special. Buying tools to help me grow my farm, though… That made sense. I walked into the bcksmith and was greeted by a dwarf.

  Tanned muscles flexed as she pulled a sword twice her length out of a forge and began to shape it. Fiery orange hair tied back and an apron struggling to hold back the two melons on her chest were the first things I noticed. Her incredibly attractive face dotted with freckles was the second. Damn, was this town full of beauties and I just didn’t notice? I waited for her to hammer until she put it back in and gnced in my direction.

  In a thick accent, she spoke. “What do you want?” It took me a few seconds to work out what she said before I asked. “Do you have any tools better than these?” I handed her the few I had from the other vilge. Most were of poor quality, made quickly and cheaply. She visibly recoiled back from them like I tried to hand her a bunch of snakes.

  “I could take a shit that would be more effective than those tools you got there.” She looked at me, then back at the tools. “You're the farmer then?” I nodded in affirmation. “Alright then. Ye ahem, You want growth tools, tools you can rely on until you can afford the next upgrade, then do that instead. These.” She grabbed my tools from me and tossed them over to the corner. “Are trash. I’ll make you a set for free if you give me a bag of that corn you got growing.”

  Corn took about a month to grow, it had been two weeks, so another two. “It’ll be two weeks until the corn comes in. Can I get the tools ahead of time?” She walked to the back and handed me some tools before saying. “Some tools to hold you over until I get the real ones made. Come back in five days.” I looked at them but didn’t notice much of a difference from my previous set.

  Maybe they were a bit better, but… Actually, just holding them, I could feel the smoothness in the wood, and looking closer at the metal, I could tell it was perfectly uniform and not dented like mine was. It was at least a common quality, and these weren’t the actual tools I was trading for, just the ones I was given until the real tools were made. It got me thinking about how good those tools would be.

  I got to work and… I massively fucked up not upgrading my tools earlier. The difference was night in day, I didn’t have to worry about splinters, and the ease at which I cut through trees made it clear I was hurting my potential with the inferior tools. It would take multiple days to chop a single tree, as I had to take multiple breaks, but I cleaved through trees like butter with the upgrade.

  I went nuts, and even my level increased faster. That was good to notice. The day I needed to go pick up my new tools was the day I also hit level 25. I opened the menu and looked at the skills I could purchase.

  Comfort zone- Increases health, mana, and stamina regeneration by 100% while on the farm.

  Tool Specialization- Choose a specialization. Hoe, Axe, Pickaxe, Scythe, Fishing rod.

  Elemental affinity- Choose an element. Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, Lightning.

  Jack of Jack of Jacks- Increases bonus by another 10%.

  Sexual healing- Regenerate 25% of health, mana, and stamina from having sex.

  Don’t think about it- The lower a person's intellect the higher your charm, up to a 100% bonus.

  First really hard choice. I couldn’t hurt my growing chances by picking fruit or vegetable specializations. That left Lucky find, but was it worth it right now? I was getting poor and low-quality wood, but would increasing the quality be that helpful? In the long run, I might regret not specializing, but right now it seemed like the best option. I picked Tool Specialization and selected Axe before I could pick something else, and closed the list. Right now, removing trees and improving my home is more important.
