Flight [The world's constraints can't hold you down, granting you the ability to fly. The more your physique increase the better the ability.]
His physique had increased by 18 points, indicating that three days had passed since he fainted. However, his attention was drawn to his abilities section. What was once empty now had something on it: Flight. The description was brief and simple, but he wondered what would change and how much better his ability would be if his physique grew stronger.
He didn't know for sure, and only time would tell. Nevertheless, the ability to fly was truly exciting. He longed to soar through the air, feeling the freedom of weightless flight.
The first time he flew, he didn't have a chance to fully appreciate it so he wanted to fly and finally relish it but as he scanned his surroundings, he decided to take it slow. Even though he had revealed himself to his family, he didn't want to startle them too much.
‘Take it slow,’ he thought. Time was his best ally. Today, he could fly. Tomorrow, who knew what he could do? Wang Yun chuckled to himself.
As for the mountain king, if it appeared again, he wouldn't be as helpless as before. Although he didn't know how he would fare against a rank 10 beast, it was truly terrifying.
Having experienced its strength firsthand, Wang Yun couldn't help but shiver. The beast's sheer physical power alone was a threat to him, add that with the ability to control the earth made Wang Yun look like a simpleton.
Truly, it was worthy to be called a spiritual beast of this world.
‘I need to develop my ser eyes... or at least get a weapon that's sharp or something I could throw,’ Wang Yun thought, realizing his ck of ranged or lethal attacks.
As he ate with his siblings, they asked good-naturedly what it was like to be non-human. Wang Yun expined that it was probably no different from them.
Throughout this, Xun Shen remained quiet. His siblings tried to cheer him up, but to no avail. Only time could heal his wounds.
The danger seemed to have passed as a few more days went by without any sign of the mountain king. During this time, they grouped with other survivors, increasing their numbers.
Regarding returning home, no one had any thoughts of doing so. His father and others pnned to seek help in the city and would only consider going back after they were certain the mountain king was dead.
A few days after he had woken up, Wang Yun found an excuse to be alone. Now, he was finally experiencing the thrill of flight.
"Haah..." Wang Yun let out a satisfied sigh, feeling the wind on his face.
He didn't dare to fly too high, as he might attract attention, but that didn't stop him from appreciating the experience.
"How wonderful," he muttered as his clothes fluttered.
"So this is flying..." he thought. The best he could describe it was like a person submerged underwater, except there was no oppressive water feeling and he felt incredibly light.
As he was flying, he opened his status panel.

His physique had now reached 95, and estimating his strength, he could now lift nearly 30 tons of weight!
It was a weight he'd never thought he'd be able to handle. Remembering his time on Earth, he recalled his best deadlift being only 240 kg, which he had been quite proud of. Now, that weight was practically nothing.
With each passing day, his confidence in facing the mountain king again increased. Of course, that didn't mean he wanted to confront it; it simply increased his sense of security.
He paused mid-air and, with a decision, flew upwards. He ascended several kilometers into the air passing some clouds but stopped from going further because the wind was becoming too strong.
Looking down, he saw everything was tiny. A sense of arrogance slowly crept up on him, as if the world were just that... tiny... but he shook it off. Arrogance was one of the greatest dangers to a person. It was okay to be confident, but arrogance should not consume him.
He let himself be carried by the wind for a while, feeling a sense of rexation and peace.
Soon, he heard faint rumbling from the distance and immediately flew down, just above the trees. Even with his enhanced sight, he couldn't see anything.
For a moment, he was concerned that the mountain king had reappeared, but after half an hour, he finally rexed again.
He knew he should avoid drawing attention until he was strong enough to defend himself. After flying for a bit, he returned to their camp.
Days ter, as night fell, the sight of a tall wall appeared before them, and everyone could finally rex. They had reached Jade Qing City.
Although he had been here a few times in his previous life, this was the first time he had seen the city with Dean's memories. The most striking feature was the wall, towering nearly a hundred meters high. They say the real city lies within, and it's also called the City of Cultivators. This is because there's a qi-gathering array inside, attracting martial artists and cultivators from all over.
They say that to enter the city, one must pay with spirit stones, not mortal coins made from copper or silver. Spirit stones are said to aid in cultivation.
Wang Yun himself hadn't entered the city. The sect examination, which felt like a long time ago, was conducted outside. Only after passing the preliminary check could one enter. The entire city is controlled by the Jade Mountain Sect.
Their sect's main location was said to be in the east, but Wang Yun wasn't sure. However, it was undoubtedly impressive.
Outside the walls, ancient Eastern-style buildings stood. Even at night, Wang Yun could see a lot of activity.
He was briefly amazed before his mind returned to the other matter he was thinking about. Their group, now numbering more than two dozen, soon reached what they called the outer city.
"I'll report what happened to the outer city officials. Although someone probably already has, it's better to be sure," Wang Lee said, patting Wang Yun's shoulder and looking at him with meaning in his eyes.
Wang Yun understood what his father was trying to convey and was grateful. His father had seen firsthand his strength and knew he wouldn't divulge it to anyone.
"I'll find an inn near the fountain, settle our things, and come find you," Zhang Wang Chen said.
They soon parted ways, with the other people in their group making their own arrangements. Wang Yun was lost in thought about something as they found an inn.
However, Wang Yun set aside his thoughts as he helped his family settle into a cheap inn. It was dirty and a little smelly, but they couldn't afford a more expensive one. Seeing it, Wang Yun became even more determined to help his family prosper.
Because they had hurried to get there before nightfall, they were quite tired. His siblings immediately fell asleep in their rooms, followed by their uncle. Wang Yun pretended to sleep. As his mother left, Wang Yun opened his eyes and his body floated into the air, while on the single bed, his siblings were asleep, with Xun Shen alongside them.
Wang Yun wasn't worried they'd find out he could fly. He was even slightly hoping they would. He didn't need to hide too much from his family, including Xun Shen. He didn't need to guard against a 9-year-old.
He opened his status panel...

His physique had changed significantly since he first awakened Dean's memories, with 128 points of physique he could now practically lift nearly 40 tons!
How crazy is that? But there was something that didn't add up though.
Indeed, as each day passed, he felt more confident in his ability to fight the mountain king again and actually win.
However, excluding the first time he awakened his physique near midday, which resulted in only 5 points, he had consistently earned 6 points of physique each day afterward. Yet, when he looked at his physique count, there were an extra 3 points!
Where did they come from?
The answer came easily, one that he didn't consider because he couldn't fly before.
