This cosmic beauty burning bright,
the riches of the world, scattered into stardust.
All is born from the dying light.
Iron, sliver, ptinum, and more soar across the night
Tearing through the sky, it awaits in the crust
this cosmic beauty burning bright.
Sparkling fmes spread the sight.
Vast pictures of shimmering from rust,
all is born from the dying light.
Celestial winds that storm and bite.
A yearning for the stars, a lust.
This cosmic beauty burning bright,
seeding life and fortune, an anti-blight.
Earthen forms are a must.
All is born from the dying light.
Across the oblivion fires show their might
With their great power there is trust.
This cosmic beauty burning bright,
all is born from the dying light.

The telescope revealed the mighty form of Jupiter. Aptly titled, the rgest and mightiest of the pnets. Just like the ancient god Jupiter was supreme, a divine entity that protected our own small and fragile world. Stephanie watched the pnet, so clear in the lens of her instrument.
She dreamed of the stars, it seemed to call her and she welcomed it. Ever since she was a child she had always wanted to be an astronaut. And as of tomorrow that wish would finally come true. As if by providence a shooting star passed across the lens.
Steph knew she needed to get sleep, any at all, it was vital. The unch was to be early in the morning and the time she would have for sleeping was rapidly dwindling. However she couldn’t help herself, the adrenaline was just too much and her body refused to calm down. So she remained gazing into the abyss that she would be calling her home for the next few months.
There was always something about space that intrigued her. Never being able to quite pce the fascination. She had other passing flings towards other topics; pnts, dinosaurs, geology, but these never struck the same itch. There was an allure to the vast nothing, it was as terrifying as it was beautiful. To think that just outside of Earth is nothing, literal nothing. Sure there are the other pnets, stars, satellites, and whatnot. But those are few and far between compared to the all reaching void. She wanted to touch it, to be alone, truly completely alone, with not even air surrounding you. She would never be able to, and to do so would certainly mean catastrophe to her body but the urge remained nonetheless.
The only fear that stuck in her mind was that she would find her new life boring. That the repetition of her job would grow too tedious and exhausting. The joy and wonder of space quickly falling into just another data point. Stripped of all that inspired and intrigued her to begin with.
Thankfully the sleep began to consume her. Her eyes became unfocused and her eyelids heavy. Steph made her way over to her bed and fell into the warmth of the bnkets. She took one st long look out the window, the stars blinking at her, calling for her to join them. And soon, very soon she would be.
