  Recently, my mother moved from the townhouse she shared with my father for the first three years of my life (not coincidentally, the st four years of his) to an assisted living center. While cleaning up an old trunk, she discovered a box of papers, apparently journals my father had kept of his various adventures.

  As to who am I? I will keep my birth name out of it, for now, but those of you who have seen the television show that we have been given permission to “borrow” the title from for this little collection, I am known as Lance Daniels, the actor who bore the rare pleasure of portraying my own father on screen for five years, six seasons. Fans of the show will recognize some of these tales from the first two seasons, but here told in my father’s own words (as edited by my mother, as his prose was competent but words were, and still are, her life’s blood).

  So, for those who know these stories, either as you lived through them or as you watched them on our show, well, I hope you enjoy this slightly different perspective, and perhaps ‘hearing’ dad’s voice once again if you had the honor of meeting him. For those who are unfamiliar with his exploits, all I can say is strap in - you are in for a wild ride.

  Oh, and as the publisher asked this several times already: no, sadly there will not be another season of the show. As to the rumors of a pnned movie, I am neither at liberty to confirm nor deny their veracity.
