I spent the night creating copper wires. While I would need different power conductors in the future, copper was an expedient and efficient solution for the short term to medium term.

  When I left for work, I knew I would need to return to make more wire. Then I would need to begin assembling the wire... it will take time.

  So, when I got to the school, I went to the class. I got two pieces of paper. On the first, I wrote to the militant class professor, requesting that when I was done with history, to work under her. Then, I wrote to the Headmistress, informing them of my schedule.

  I sent the message to the professor, and held on to the Headmistress's one. Then, I set myself to reading again. While I had no true issues with spending my time thusly, it was boring I admit. Hell, I convinced the goblin professor to let me bring the books home for study, I could now optimize my time better.

  I decided to skip to more modern history, from 1000 years to now. That would maximize time and effort. And Like that, I spent the day.

  I read, occasionally observed the students. Some paid rapt attention, some fiddled with notebooks, some slept. Typical, little changes in this respect.

  The one thing that did change is that some students fiddled with magic. One even set a paper on fire by mistake and had to get it put out my another student. He was subsequently sent to detention.

  Magic, as I had been learning, was ubiquitous. Every household had something, be it a lamp or pan, or something else.

  There is also a quality to magic. From common to mythical. People were rated thus, runes as well. Enchanted objects, so on.

  When the day ended, I processed, gambled a bit for personal image, then went to the forge to work on building a body. Thus, the rest of the week past.

  On our off day, I decided it was better to work throughout the day and night in the forge. Making the smaller, delicate pieces, I was finding, was extremely time consuming without specialized tools.

  I recalculated if I needed to make specialized tools first, but no. This was the most efficient as of yet.

  By the time of the new week, I had made good progress. I had been too ambitious, it would take 3 months for a body probably. I would need to make precision tools first, then power generation, THEN, the body.

  Sigh I suppose even I can get ahead of myself. A good reminder.

  But it was the beginning of the week. I had a new teacher to meet. I hope she is pleasant to work with.
