Chapter 7: Challenge Of Two Warriors

When the two landed, they were not washed away by the sea water but stood on the sea water. There seemed to be a transparent barrier under their feet.

"Quick! Jump!!!" Mark commanded all of the pirates and jumped off the ship in the next moment.

Pirates are pirates. They often deal with death and will never be slow to react in times of crisis. When they see a way to survive, they will instinctively run forward.

When everyone landed, they all stood on the pyramid, and the sea water carried the ship back to the whirlpool abyss below. The old friend who had accompanied them for many years is no longer there.

"Ahh~ Our Apollo ~" Frank cried out sadly.

"Apollo?" Castor looked at Captain Raigh beside him.

"It's the name of our ship..." Captain Raigh sighed and asked with a frown, "And... what do you mean by the 'shadow' while ago?"

"Umm..." Castor was stunned and tried to make a lie, "I... ugh... I actually have hallucinations, and sometimes strange things come out to help me."

"Castor... you can treat me as your adoptive father, it's just like your father. If you have any problem, you can say it, we will help you." Captain Raigh said solemnly.

"Are you really okay...?" He asked, and he gazed at Castor with doubting eyes.

"Y-yeah... I'm good..." Castor said lightly.

"I hope you didn't lie..." Captain Raigh sighed.

At this time, the seawater had completely receded, and everyone saw that there were bricks under the transparent barrier they occupied.

These bricks were the same color as the deep sea, but the surface seemed to have scales, and they did not seem to be ordinary bricks.

Suddenly, the pyramid began to vibrate. The corner at the top turned. Then, with the sound of a mechanism, the people at the edge of the pyramid felt the bricks under their feet vibrate more violently.

  Crack... Crack...

Hearing this sound, everyone felt something was wrong. If nothing unexpected happened, something unexpected would happen.

"Careful!" Captain Raigh shouted and picked Castor up.

As expected, the next moment, the invisible barrier and bricks under everyone's feet disappeared out of thin air, causing everyone to fall down.

But they did not fall into the abyss below, but onto a dark green meadow.

"Ouch!" Jalen cried out in pain.

  Crack... Crack...

"Huh... hey!" Jalen raised his head and saw the brick appear again and block their entrance, "Erm, guys, the entrance is gone..."

"Oh hell nah..." Frank spat. He walked towards the wall and tried to push the bricks, but it was useless.

"Welp, maybe there is an exit out of here." Bob rose up and glanced around, "This place seems... weird."

Here are many exotic plants, including flowers with colorful particles around them, blue-leaved blackwood trees, and a little lake that emits the chill mist.

"Ugh..." Captain Raigh groaned. When they fell, he was facing the ground with his back to protect Castor.

"Captain, are you okay?" Castor instinctively asked anxiously and was stunned in the next moment and asked in his mind, "Why did I feel... worry... and surprise?"

"Has my curse been solved...?" He thought in mind, and soon a mysterious power surged into his mind like tidal water and depressed his emotions, "Ugh! My mind became as same as before again..."

Castor rubbed his forehead, his expression seemed uncomfortable. A warm feeling came from his scalp, and Castor looked up and saw that it was Captain Raigh's big hand stroking him.

"What did you feel? Please don't lie..." Captain Raigh asked with a worried tone and kind eyes.

"N-nothing, I just feel emotions... I feel the worry and surprise... this is the first time..." Castor replied slowly.

"Huh? First time? What do you mean?" Captain Raigh's eyes widened, and he asked.

"It's... It's my curse... I don't know how many curses I have, but I know that I don't need to eat, I can't feel emotions, and I can see the soul." Castor explained.

"I see... It's okay! I will find a way to remove the curse when we get to land!" Captain Raigh rose and promised him.

"Can the curse be removed?" Castor tilted his head and rose up with Captain Raigh.

"Yes... um... most of them can be removed in different ways." Captain Raigh nodded and glanced around.

"OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!! LITTLE BOY! YOUR NAME IS CASTOR, RIGHT? GET THOSE FLOWERS AND LEAVES! ALSO GET THE WATER FROM THAT LAKE!!!" The shadow shouted in Castor's mind excitedly as if it saw a precious treasure.

"Huh...? What are those things?" Castor asked in his mind.

"Those are extremely precious flowers and trees!!! And the lake water! It's almost extinct!!! Boy! Take as much as you can! It's inconvenient for me now because there are so many people here!" The shadow explained.

Castor nodded slightly and walked towards the flowers, but Captain Raight grabbed him.

"Don't go, maybe it's dangerous." Captain Raigh said lightly.

"Hey! Captain! We have touched everything here, it seems not harmful." Mark came to Captain Raigh and said, "And those things seem valuable, do we take them?"

Seeing the other crew members looking at him excitedly, he thought for a while. His eyes were fixed on the flowers, plants, and lake water. There was a fragrance coming from here, and on the surface, it did not seem to be poisonous.

"Don't get too much, our purpose is to get out of here." Captain Raigh said.

"Alright! Let's just get some, don't be greedy!" Jalen commanded and grabbed a small leather bag from his waist to collect those plants.

The captain turned around and walked to the other side, and found a stone gate with some dark green runes on it. He frowned subconsciously, thinking rapidly.

"Guys! Maybe this is the exit!" Captain Raigh yelled, his voice echoed in this place.

The pirates followed his voice and came to him. When they saw the stone door with dark green runes in front of them, they also began to study it.

After a while of research, no one was clueless. At this time, Castor also asked the shadow under his feet in his mind. He saw arcane runes in the fairy tale, and the shadow knows arcane, so maybe it has the answer.

"This is easy... just inject mana into the runes." Shadow explained, "But it seems you guys don't have mana, just put the flowers on it, the flowers have mana."

Hearing this, Castor walked to the side, picked up a flower, and returned to the stone gate. He handed the flower to a rune.

A magical scene happened. When the flower touched the rune, it instantly turned into a beam of light and sank into the rune, and the rune also disappeared.

"WOAH!" Jalen shouted in surprise, "Yo, Castor, you're such a genius!"

"So, just put the flower on the runes then it can disappear? So the stone gate will open?" Bob asked and got the flowers from other pirates.

Bob put the flowers into the runes one by one, and the lights lit up and sank into the runes. When all the dark green runes disappeared, the stone door slowly rose, and a hall appeared, which seemed to connect to the next area.

As everyone cheered and praised Castor's intelligence, Captain Raigh watched him closely from behind, his intuition told him that Castor was hiding something.

"Alright, alright! You guys, go to the next area quickly! Imma get this all into my pocket!" The shadow said in Castor's mind.

"Eh? Ugh... if you're going to stay here, how about us? I don't know what's next waiting for us." Castor asked in his mind.

"If you can't figure out how to do just wait for me." The shadow replied and added, "Oh, by the way, this is an undersea ruin! There will be many treasures and also! fatal danger! So... just hold until I arrive if you guys fall into trouble."

  "Fine..." Castor said.

"Let's go, what are you thinking?" Captain Raigh pushed Castor's back gently.

"Ah... nothing, I'm just afraid that there is any danger." Castor raised his head and said.

"Don't worry, I said I will protect you." Captain Raigh smiled and held Castor's hand, and followed them.

The hall is very long, but there are azure stones on the wall to illuminate this place, so they can still see inside the hall clearly. After walking for a distance, everyone stopped. They looked at the pattern on the wall. It was a map, a map of the pyramids.

From the map, there are five areas here, four of which are located at the four corners of the pyramid, and the fifth is at the top of the pyramid. Now they have crossed the first area and are heading towards the second area.

"So it means we still have four areas to go?" Jalen stroked his chin.

  "Probably." Mark shrugged.

"Good! In that case, let’s work hard!" Jalen grins widely, "Let's go, my good boys!"

"Tsk." Bob clicked his tongue but still followed Jalen's step.

A few minutes later, everyone finally reached the end of the hall. In front of them was another stone door, this time with two images of armored warriors on it.

The stone gate just now also has an image, an image of flowers and plants.

When Captain Raigh reached out and touched the stone door, it slowly rose up. It was a dark place inside where they couldn't see their hand.

"L-let's go!" Jalen gulped and stepped forward carefully.

Suddenly, the room was illuminated by glowing stones. To the left, there was another stone door. This time, the room was empty, but two huge armored stone warriors held swords stuck in the ground.

The next moment, two eyes on their helmets lit up, and then they're swords were pulled out from the floor.
