"What the fuck are these horrendous stats!?"
Before I could even begin thinking about how screwed I was, the goddess began speaking again.
"This tutorial will filter out the weak frim the strong. Some of you are destined to rise, while others can only be doomed to fall."
She paused for a moment and everyone started talking.

"What is going on!?"
"Were my shrooms laced?"
"What are we going t-"
She then cleared her throat, and everyone went silent.
"You will be sent to the tutorial realm 5 minutes from now. May luck be with you."
She then disappated in a burst of golden particles.
. . .
'Kinda hard for luck to be with me when I have 0 of it you prick. She didn't even give us a good rundown of how anything worked.'
I groaned before thinking of something.
'System, evaluate my potential.'
A system notification popped up.
[Searching Norono's potential...]
Then, a notification that altered all of my previous plans for this new world appeared before me.
. . .
[Overall Evaluation: You are one of the most unfortunate people of all time. Your intelligence stat has somewhat praiseworthy potential, but your other stats are assinine.]
. . .
'What have I done to deserve this?'
Based on the logic of video games, I was toast.
Intelligence is a good stat, but it needs to be paired with other stats like magic usually.
'System, give me the numbers for each of the classifications.'
A new notification popped up.
[Here are the current classifications used:]
[Weak: 0 - 9]
[Common: 10 - 17]
[Uncommon: 18 - 25]
[Rare: 26 - 39]
[Epic: 40 - 64]
[Exotic: 65 - 89]
[Legendary: 90 - 115]
[System Error: Cannot reveal classifications past Legendary until the user reaches a level of power comparable to the peak of the Legendary classification]
. . .
Although I was bummed out about my stats, I knew these pieces of information will prepare me for when I venture out into the real realm after the tutorial.
'You know what, maybe hard work will be able to bridge the gap.'
I was very nervous and frustrated, but I also started feeling more excited than I have in a long time.
'Well, how about plan B.'
. . .
My eyes scanned across the room, locking onto a guy with the physique of a body builder who was also oggling the air excitedly.
'It seems like he's awfully invested in his stat window, probably got better stats than the dog shit ones I have.'
Plan B involves finding someone to use as a meatshield.
"The goddess said we have 5 minutes until the tutorial starts, so how much time has passe-"
[2:45 minutes left]
"That's very thoughtful of the system, probably the only thing thoughtful it has done too."
After I was faced with the system's crude evaluation of me, I was rather salty towards it.
'Well, I'm determined to live as long as I can, regardless of my circumstances.'
After further hardening my resolve, I began to make my way towards that behemoth of a man.
. . .
After waking all the way towards the man, I came to a stop.
"So, how are you faring in this situation so far?"
The bulky man gave me a glance and raised his brow.
"Well, other than not knowing what is going on whatsoever, I'm perfectly fine."
I gave a slight smile before replying.
"Well, in that case..."
"Buzz off kid, I don't need any freeloaders hitching off of my strength."
I paused, gobsmacked.
'How did he know what I was coming here for!?'
The man was looking at the ground before setting his sights on a rusty greatsword that he proceeded to lift with both of his hands.
'What a poor choice of weapon. He's only gonna be able to seing that thing 10 times max before getting tired.'
I paused for a moment before continuing my response.
"We're in a alternate dimension with no one to turn to but the people in this room. Do you really want to refuse any help you can get?"
I think that what I stated was a pretty valid argument, but the man thought otherwise.
"Listen, even if I were to take your help, I'm way more experienced in life than you are. These people will want to be leaded by the strong and experienced, aka me, so I'll have more than enough people to help me-"
The bulky man, who looked roughly in his mid to late twenties upon closer inspection, gave me a smirk and stuck out his hand.
"-Actually, I might consider making you my first minion. What do you say?"
I sat there and thought to myself.
'What the fuck type of life experience would have you ready for this situation?'
'Uhhh-'
[The tutorial is now beginning.]
Before I could even comprehend how to respond to what he said to me, the notification of the tutorial's start caused me to ready myself and hold my rusty dagger up.
The gate proceeded to open, and what looked to be an endless horde of goblins began sprinting towards the large group of people gathered in this room.
