“Yup, your request was accepted~”
Ellis claps softly.
“Now you are eligible to partake in the required mission.”
…Pardon.
They added that now.
“A mission?”
I asked lightly.
“Yup.”

“You have to team yourself with two other hunters and take on a Stannum quest~”
She smiled at me.
Where am I even going to get two other hunters who are currently taking the mission to rank up as well?
“We have, luckily… eight individuals who are requesting the mission as well. So with you, nine.”
“You may go with the two people who definitely aren't going to form a team of three—like c’mon. Eight? That leaves two people, so go fit right in, old butt~”
She waves her hand at me dismissively.
“The day is on… next week, Monday to be exact.”
“Yes, I know, I know… nobody likes Mondays. Especially me—but!”
“Next week, Monday. You and all the other eight people will, like I said, form a team of three, then grab the Stannum quest of your team’s choice and kick some ass!”
“Well, unless one of you dies, or the whole team dies.”
“So, let's all be safe, shall we?”
She yawns before resting her cheek on her palm.
“Do many hunters usually rank up?”
I asked with curiosity.
“Yeah, of course! Higher rank equals higher pay, but dumbos forget one aspect—higher rank equals higher risks.”
“Hunters are so greedy, hm?”
“Of course, the lower ranks have consistent ranking ups. Eight to fifteen usually every month. And of course, that gets smaller each rank, since a couple missions for ranking up get harder to do and most people usually get devoured by the Maws.”
She puffs slightly, her expression mellow before speaking once more.
“Young men dying… and we make that the norm.”
