Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Transformation Type WTF Unicorn

With the [Golden Memory Dragon Egg Secret Realm], Regulus Bck could bestow upon anyone a css from the Diablo game—so the young unicorn's worries were entirely unnecessary.

The issue now was css selection!

For a magical creature like a unicorn, the Druid css was the best fit. All that "close to nature" stuff was just fluff—what really mattered was css compatibility. Druids possessed elemental abilities powered by wind and fire, summoning skills linked to nature, pnts, and animals.

The real problem was with transformation skills—shapeshifting into a werewolf or werebear obviously didn't suit a unicorn's image.

Looks like this entire skill system would need a major overhaul for her!

We won't go into detail about the elemental or summoning skills. The real focus of the overhaul is the shapeshifting line. Here's what the original skills looked like:

  [Shapeshifting]

  Passive Effect:

Frequent transformations can be troublesome due to time limits. This skill boosts physical stats post-transformation and increases transformation duration.

  [Werewolf Form]

  Effect:

Allows the druid to transform into a werewolf, increasing reaction speed and enhancing combat abilities.

  [Feral Rage]

  Werewolf-exclusive Effect:

After transforming into a wolf, this skill drives the druid into a berserk frenzy, unleashing a vicious chain of attacks that shred enemies apart—and draw vitality from them.

The more ferocious your assault, the more life you drain.

  [Rabies]

This skill infects the druid's saliva with a deadly toxin. When biting an enemy, it spreads a horrifying disease throughout their body.

Rabies has a serious fw in accuracy, but when it hits, the target gets poisoned. Its "stench" doesn't fade, and since the source of the poison can't be touched, the disease can't be cured.

  [Fury]

Throws the druid into a bloodthirsty fury, boosting accuracy and damage while attacking all surrounding enemies like a mad beast.

  [Werebear Form]

Allows the druid to transform into a wild bear, massively boosting strength and resilience. In this form, the druid can unleash earth-shattering destruction.

  [Maul]

  Werebear-exclusive Effect:

While in bear form, the druid uses powerful cws to tear enemies apart. Each enemy killed boosts the druid's savagery.

  [Shockwave]

A deafening roar causes the ground to tremble, stunning and terrifying nearby enemies.

  [Fire Cws]

  Werewolf/Werebear Effect:

While in beast form, the druid can channel natural elemental fire into their attacks, adding a fire effect. However, accuracy is greatly reduced.

  [Hunger]

Nature gives life—and can take it away. When the druid uses this skill to bite enemies, their vitality and life essence are absorbed into the druid's own body.

All of the above skills are designed around werewolf and werebear transformations, which clearly don't suit a unicorn.

To win the favor of the loli unicorn, Regulus Bck decided to unleash his full lolicon spirit and tailor the perfect skill set for her.

Why not just create an entirely new skill tree? Well, that's because of Regulus Bck's built-in golden finger system.

Without this golden finger system, he could freely edit and invent new spells, but the effects would be incomplete. With the golden finger in py, he experienced firsthand the benefits of a complete system—it's smooth. Very smooth.

After all, game skill systems are the crystallization of collective wisdom. They're polished to near perfection, both in concept and execution.

Thinking you could surpass professional game designers? Yeah, dream on—go to sleep.

But building on the golden finger system as a base and tweaking it? That, Regulus Bck—being a transmigrator—could do. No need to completely rewrite everything; just heavily modify the transformation skill line.

  [Centaur Form]

  Active Effect:

This skill allows the unicorn to transform into a centaur— a divine creature with a humanoid base and a horse's head. This transformation enhances manual dexterity, enabling proficiency in crafting weapons and better adaptability to human weaponry.

  [Humanoid Form]

The unicorn can transform into a human form. Once the appearance is set, it remains fixed.

The unicorn can freely switch between humanoid and its original unicorn form. Upon transformation, all negative status effects are automatically removed.

Physical stats remain unchanged after transformation; all physical attributes are preserved.

  [Phantom Horse Form]

The unicorn can transform into a ghostly phantom horse, avoiding harmful effects and gaining spectral attributes. Movement becomes unrestricted. However, due to a major reduction in offensive power, all stats are shifted toward curse effects.

  [Dragon Horse Form]

The unicorn transforms into a divine beast with a dragon's head and a horse's body, four hooves, a horse's tail, and dragon scales. This form grants itself or allies a beneficial aura of spiritual enhancement.

  [Qilin Form]

The unicorn transforms into the mythical beast Qilin. All attributes are redirected toward a single elemental affinity, which can be selected based on the situation.

  [Water Qilin]

When choosing the Water Qilin form, all of the unicorn's attributes shift to the water element. In aquatic environments, attack, defense, agility, and vitality receive a significant boost.

  [Fire Qilin]

When choosing the Fire Qilin form, all of the unicorn's attributes shift to the fire element. In fiery environments, attack, defense, agility, and vitality are greatly enhanced.

  [Wind Qilin]

When choosing the Wind Qilin form, all of the unicorn's attributes shift to the wind element. In wind-based environments, attack, defense, agility, and vitality increase accordingly.

  [Thunder Qilin]

When choosing the Thunder Qilin form, all of the unicorn's attributes shift to the lightning element. In thunderous or stormy environments, attack, defense, agility, and vitality are significantly boosted.

This entire transformation skill set only strengthens the unicorn's capabilities without any drawbacks, and it closely aligns with the theme of Eastern mythical beasts.

Additionally, Regulus Bck made adjustments to some of the Summoning skills.

The original skills—[Summon Spirit Wolf], [Summon Dire Wolf], and [Summon Grizzly]—were removed and repced with three new summoning skills.

  [Summon Insects]

Summons nearby small insects to serve the caster. They can function as scouts or help collect resources for the summoner.

  [Summon Treant]

Animates a tree, turning it into a Treant to fight for the summoner. The older the tree, the stronger its attributes.

When the skill effect ends, the Treant will automatically take root and continue living in pce.

  [WTF Grass Mud Horse]

When not in a jungle, this skill allows the caster to summon a Grass Mud Horse from a patch of pin grass. The summoned creature is made from dirt and weeds, comes equipped with a mounted knight, and attacks with any material it can grab.

Its tactics are shameless and underhanded. Due to its low summoning cost, it can be summoned in rge numbers.

Regulus Bck threw the unicorn into the [Golden Memory Dragon Egg Secret Realm], allowing it to take on the Druid css.

The heavily modified Druid skill set would need to be understood and practiced by the unicorn through trial and error—after all, actual combat is the best way to test a skill's effectiveness. The realm's game-like map was filled with endless monsters, making it the perfect pce for grinding experience.

Having settled the unicorn's situation, Regulus Bck returned to Hogwarts alone. The professors and students, who had become accustomed to the unicorn's presence, were all stunned by its absence—even Dumbledore came to ask Regulus Bck what had happened.

Naturally, Regulus Bck feigned indifference and cimed the unicorn had simply returned to the Forbidden Forest.
