"I-I, uh, fuck man." Masaru shuddered through his words, the realisation of what was going on had finally hit the kaiju like a sp to the face, he tried to think of more words to say.
Any words, if he said anymore words, maybe things will get better, he thought, just anything to get rid of that bleeding corpse and anything to have them home, the murder cleaned up.
But no, the corpse was still there, and it will still be there if he doesn't help Haruo get rid of it, he didn't want to be here, he wanted to be home again, with Susumu there to help protect him.
"I never fought---" The painful cries from the tearful Yuto Tsuchiya from behind Masaru had stopped him from saying anything else. It was a relief to him too, as he ran out of what he wanted to say about, what had happened.
"Can you guys stop talking and help my brother!? Fuck, he's bleeding here! We need help!" An urgent cry came from Yuto's twin brother, Taiki, who kneeled beside Yuto as he focused on his wound.
"We can have all the time to cry about all of what that fucker had put us through just now, but we need to help Yuto now, alright!?" Haruo tried calming down Masaru by reminding him of what they needed to do now.
Masaru came back to reality and after getting up from the mud covered ground around him, walked over towards the brothers with Haruo following beside him.
Despite being twins, Yuto and Taiki had different hairstyles and clothing, making them look almost like different people instead. Yuto's hair was a bright blond, while Taiki's was a darker brown, Taiki's hair was long while Yuto's was short, both of them also had white skin.
Yuto, the kaiju on the ground wore clothing that was the most colorful clothing out of the four, with red overalls and some shorts and green shoes while Taiki wore a dark coat that covered his body and dark pants and boots.
The only way you can tell that the twins were reted was the color of their eyes that matched the scales somewhere on their bodies, they were both blue.
Taiki was trying desparately to stop the bleeding, looking desparate in treating his brother's injury, but more of his orange mustard blood slowly poured out of his shoulder, making him more panicked then he already was.
The pain for Yuto was unbearable and he kept howling from it, even as Taiki had managed to cover the shoulder wound.
"This is too much, my brother, he needs---" Taiki squeaked as tears welled up in his eyes, he didn't want to see his brother in pain like this any longer, it hurt him seeing Yuto hurt.
Taiki turned over to Haruo and Masaru in a panic, the three started searching their pockets as quickly as they could.
"Of all the fucking times, I don't have any crafts on me!" Haruo cursed to himself. He must have used the st of them as he clenched his fists in frustration. Masaru was unable to find any patches either which caused Haruo to grit his teeth.
Haruo knew that if kept Yuto screaming like what he was doing now, it wouldn't be long until it, attracted people who were walking around on this rainy night, which is something Haruo, Masaru and Taiki don't want.
"I don't have anything either." Masaru was unsure about what he could do to help Yuto, he started to look just as panicked as the brothers as fear started to return to him.
Haruo, still the calmest of the four, looked over to Yuto, and remembered what Masaru and Taiki could do to help.
"Use your powers to treat his shoulder." Haruo ordered as he pointed towards Yuto's shoulder.
"B-But it'll hurt!" Yuto quavered.
"I know it'll hurt like shit!" Haruo raised his voice a little, his face brightened with angry before it clenched into a saddened look.
"But if Taiki can sterilize the bleeding." Haruo paused as he turned towards Taiki, who was crouching next to his twin brother.
"Then Masa can temporarily freeze it until we get back to the house and get It fixed with magic crafts." Haruo then looked over to Masaru next, his face becoming serious again.
"It's the best that we can do right now." Haruo crossed his arms, feeling bad about the extra pain that Yuto was going to be put through to treat his wound.
"You're brave Yuto, you've been the most brave here during this fight, fuck, even more then I was, and I know you can handle this for a few seconds." Haruo smiled through the rain and darkness to raise Yuto's spirit and to let him know that, he's safe now and he's going to be okay and that did raise Yuto's spirits a little.
Seeing Haruo smile like that, meant to Yuto that things were going to be okay now, that man was dead now.
Like all the other hunters before him.
"When this is all over, I'll give you ice cream, alright?" Masaru tried to become cheerful and help lift Yuto's spirits as well, nudging his nose in a goofy way, Yuto sniffled and slowly closed his eyes, as Taiki slowly let go of his shoulder and crouched down.
"I'm, ready." Yuto braced himself for the pain that was to come, Taiki complied in an uncomfortable way with what he was about to do, but in the end it was to help his brother.
Taiki grabbed onto Yuto's shoulder again, with his hands beginning to glow and even sizzle around Yuto's wound, causing him to whimper loudly in pain, but Haruo and Masaru stopped him from screaming.
"S-Shh, someone might hear us!" Haruo fretted with anger, he tried to continue sounding brave despite the fear that they could get caught by someone out in the forest at any second.
Taiki's hands moved around his brother's shoulders, causing Yuto flinch in pain for a few seconds as Taiki finished clearing the bleeding in Yuto's wound.
Once he was done, Taiki took a heavy breath to remain focused, the shoulder continued to sizzle as the wound was clean thanks to Taiki's power, and the rainwater that fell around the boys, even if it stung Yuto a little, he knew the worst of cleaning his wound was over, now it won't get infected anytime soon, it still however needed to be patched up.
Taiki hugged his brother, while the other two boys looked on with sadness over the pain that Yuto went through. Haruo and Masaru knew he didn't deserve what happened to him tonight, none of them did, seeing Yuto whimper was a sight that hurt their hearts.
"It's okay, it's okay." Taiki whispered to his whimpering brother.
Haruo slowly turned over towards the hunter's corpse nearby, that sickening smell of blood and flesh finally setting in, and, if they stick around for long, they'll start getting sick from it.
"Now we need to get rid of him." Haruo stared back at the corpse.
"As soon as possible." He added.
The corpse was a mess, the man's face was almost unrecongisable from the various punches that went into his face, his skull almost caved in as if pushed down with great inhumane force towards his chin.
The only thing Haruo, Masaru, Taiki and Yuto could make out from the corpse, was a nose and the man's eyes hanging by the sides of his face, with his sockets being the only things keeping the eyes from falling onto the ground.
At the center of the man's stomach through the trench coat he wore, was his insides, having been ripped open in order for the boy's to finish the man off, and next to him, was the gun he was holding that shot Yuto's shoulder.
"Got a shovel?" Haruo asked Masaru, he knew that Masaru always carrys spades or shovels with him due to his commitments with gardening along with Susumu. He was annoyed when the other boy brought out two spades and smiled warmly.
"Got two spades, is that enough for digging a hole?" Masaru joked, Haruo hastily took one.
"It's going to take a bit, but yeah." Haruo looked over at the spades, as the brothers soon approached the boys.
"If, your digging a grave for that hunter, then I want to help too." Yuto insisted as Haruo and Masaru turned towards the twins.
"You don't have to do anything Yuto, your wound might reopen, or putting pressure on it could cause the wound to spread." The thought of which made Taiki anxious.
"Just thinking about it is twisting my stomach." Taiki groused.
"Just rest by that tree over there Yuto, me and Masa have got this covered." Haruo pointed over towards the tree that the twins were standing at a few minutes ago. Masaru began looking id back again, which he was acting before the fight.
"Besides, Taiki needs to calm himself down more then you now, he looks like he's going to dramatically rip open his chest with how panic stuck he is." Masaru smirked a little, but all it did was cause Taiki to gre at him, as he knew that Masaru's comment was not helping the situation.
"Because we just killed someone dipshit!" Taiki jeered to Masaru.
"Unlike you or Haruo, we don't actually kill daily." Taiki was starting to sound more on edge as he added more to his anger.
Only for Haruo to get in between Masaru and the twins.
"Alright! Can we just bury the dipshit already before we start throwing more fists!?" Haruo tried his best not to yell so nobody would hear them, he held up both of his hands to signal Masaru and Taiki to not provoke the other.
"Bicker all you want back home, when that bastard is five feet under! And stop scaring Yuto, he's already been through enough tonight." Haruo pointed over to the frightend and shivering Yuto, before pointing back towards the hunter's corpse.
"Fine." Masaru fumed before he followed Haruo to begin digging a hole for the corpse, it didn't have to be professional looking, just big enough for the hunter's corpse.
The hole was badly made and it took awhile for it to be deep enough for the corpse to fall into. Haruo and Masaru didn't care, as long as it deep enough that no hunter, human, or a supernatural citizen would smell the hunters eventual decaying corpse.
Haruo grabbed the hunter's head and threw him into the hole as deep as he could, a crunch was heard as the hunter, head first, fell at the bottom of the hole. Once his legs were no longer visible, Haruo and Masaru began burying the hunter until the hole was patched up with mud.
"One less cunt ced hunter to deal with, huh?" Haruo turned to Masaru as he tried to lighten up the mood, the blond kaiju ughed in response.
"At least I get a kill this time compared to you." Masaru also tried to lighten up the mood despite the bleak situation.
"I would if you didn't step in front of me during the fight, your face would be caved in instead of that bastard." Haruo ughed a little.
It sounded strange from boys like them to talk so badly about the dead and what they did, but in their situation Haruo knew that trying to make light of the situation, made it, less depressing then it was.
The group had been in this situation, a lot despite how young they are, cracking a joke here and there just, helps them cheer up most of the time. It makes them think less about what they were doing was fucked up and it takes them away from reality for a little bit.
"Hey, look." Masaru pointed over towards a nearby tree, he proceeded to walk over towards it to notice a bullet hole.
"Is the bullet there?" Haruo asked, he watched as Masaru picked up a small silver bullet near the tree, he turned over, smiling.
"Yup, now nobody will find it." Masaru held up the bullet as Haruo approached the tree, and took the bullet off of Masaru, where he crushed it with ease, leaving nothing but particles of metal on his palm.
Haruo then punched the tiny bullet holes on the tree, leaving a big fist shaped hole in the tree, so it looked like that someone punched the tree instead of shooting at it for one reason or another.
Haruo thought that If people hiking through these woods see traces of gunfire along the trees or on the ground then it would make them worried to traverse through here for fear that some crazed lunatic with a gun would jump out and shoot them.
It would also bring about attention that something bad had happened in these woods. But people on this Isnd were already so worried, given the supposed "bear" that was in this forest that attacked anyone that entered it.
That the boys themselves needed to hunt down, albeit another time.
Haruo gnced over towards the spot where the hunter's body was. He thought about what had happened the hour before, to think that a regur school night, turned into another night of murder.
As it is everytime they run into a hunter, a good day they often have always gets ruined by their presence.
"Come on, I had enough of this shit stain of a forest for tonight." Haruo ordered to the other kaijus. The boys began trudging out towards the nearest exit of the woods after grabbing their wet bags nearby.
As they did, they briefly stopped to look over towards a small, broken stoned path when trying to find an exit to the forest.
The path hasn't been used for awhile, to the point that the boy's didn't know where it even began, they did know where it ended however. The path led towards a rge bck gate that was long since peeling to show the bronze skin underneath, it was guarding a tall windowless stone tower.
It didn't look abandoned, as the boys noticed recent footprints and traces that someone was here beyond the gate.
The boys had heard rumours that at certain points in the day, screaming can be heard deep within the tower, it sounded creepy to say the least.
But with what they do, it wasn't currently in there radar, besides when they sometimes stand near the gates whenever they need to go into the forest at various points of the day they never hear screaming coming from the tower, at this point, it was likely just a urban legend.
Yet, the boys still felt creeped out by it's appearance, especially with how dark it currently was.
They thought that it looked like the kind of pce some sort of serial killer would use to torture their victims or to hide from people that wanted them captured for what they did.
The boys to get out of the forest soon after and found themselves on the famair streets of the Isnd. The street lights were now on as rain continued dripping down the dark red sky, Haruo felt a discomfort when looking at the street lights.
"Fuck, I wanted out of the forest before the lights came on." He seethed as the four catching up speed to try and get home faster, so they wouldn't make everyone else worry about them, as well as to properly treat Yuto's wound.
"Their going to be worried about us by now." Haruo huffed while Masaru grinned, his casualness returning now that they were out of the woods.
"Rex man, they should have gotten used to us running around te at night at this point, I'm surprised that you're concerned though due to how, shut off you've been these st few months." Masaru tried to assure Haruo but he turned back to Masaru in anger.
"Of course I'm concerned about everyone here. They're worried for us everyday when we don't come home Masaru, especially after what happened to---" Haruo huffed again, he stopped himself from speaking further, Masaru frowned.
The boys continued running back home, passing by a tall dark house in the process, they recongised the house, it was where, Peter Barnes and his wife Evelyn Abernathy used to live in.
Before the tragedy that happened to them a few weeks back.
