Inside the cssroom where the gentle ocean breeze can be smelled, the overbearing light shines through the windows.
A joyful youth visible directly through the thin sheets of gss where the oceans are in full dispy.
Ao no umi highschool which is located at Kerama isnds is a feast for the eyes.
One short yet slender girl with twintails watching others pying by the beach suddenly faces the direction where the voice comes from.
"Eh? You haven't done it yet? There is only 30 minutes before css you know?"
Feeling concerned, The red haired girl asks her before taking her bag beside the table on top to see her stuff.
"Well... You see... My moom asked me to help serving customers. It's hard and tiring you know?"
The athletic tanned girl pulled the chair beside and sat facing towards the other with the chair turned around ying her chin by the back rest.
"Anyways... Just take your notebook. I won't show you my work but we can still do it. I will teach you."
Taking out a piece of paper and a pen, Akane, the red haired girl sighed.
"That's the Akane I know~"
The two started working the task with a hurried pace.
Despite all this, Akane simply shrugged it off and smiled as she taught the girl how to solve the task at hand.
Thanks to that, it ended easily than she thought.
"Thanks Akane. I will treat you for lunch ter~"
The girl, without waiting for Akane's reply, rushed out the room.
Akane simply sighed again before facing back to the view at the other side of the window.
As she stares at it, she noticed something fell beside the rock clearly visible near the window.
Feeling curious, she leaned closer, pressing her face at the gss.
Feeling embarrassed, she realized that the window is infact, moveable.
After pushing them to the side, she finally leaned closer.
Since the room she was in are located at the first floor, she managed to reach out towards the sparkling blue object near the rock.
Not without almost falling out the window frame.
And on closer look, she noticed it was in fact...
A die.
A bright blue die made of shiny gss.
Each sides have '?' sign which Akane found it weird.
"A die with a weird sign... What game is this used for?"
Falling back to her sit as her skirt get untangled to the edge of the table, Akane stood up quickly preventing her skirt from getting torned.
On the process, the die by her fingertips, slipped off.
"Ah..."
Akane just stared at it descending to the ground.
Upon contact, it bounced few times before spinning slightly then nded on a '?' mark.
"Well yeah... I mean... It's all the same sides... Right?"
As Akane is saying those words... She stopped.
Akane even rubbed her eyes.
After all. She knew.
It was just '?' earlier.
But the sides.
The symbols.
Started randomly changing.
Like that randomizer code you can see online. The way it rapidly changing numbers to show that the program are being rolled?
In this case, the '?' symbol changes to random symbols.
Not only that, but even the die's color are changing.
Unfortunately, curiosity kills the cat.
And Akame is not an exception.
As the die rapidly changing colors, she slowly knelt down, reach out her hand, and grabbed the die.
As her fingers touch the item, it stopped.
Leaving the die now colored gray and with a symbol that looks like a pole, a pilr or mayhaps a tower.
Akane, left gasping as she can't process what just happened.
Then as she was about to speak or maybe do something, the floor beneath her shone.
A box of light that slowly expands from the center of the floor below her feet swallowed her.
She tried to screem but nothing happened.
Until the room is left without a trace of the red haired girl.
The short girl with red hair always tied in her signiture twintails named Akane Mizuki is gone without a trace.
