Martin Hornigold wasn’t but the least surprise that Bishop had managed to sneak around his new bouncer. He knew this was about the whereabouts of Dario De Luca.
“Let me guess detective, you are seeking information over the new enforcer the Cuban anti-Communists have?” asked Martin.
“Yea, I heard that Dario is planning some sort of assault on their left-leaning opposition,” said Bishop.
Bishop wasn’t that much into politics but sadly had to deal with the actors around him who were more politically aware. Martin wanted Bishop out of his favorite seat, so he would have to give up further information about the Italian mobsters that Dario worked for first.
“Fine Bishop, I will tell you who Dario formerly worked for on the Italian mobster end but when I do you have to promise to get out of my seat and I’ll happily tell you the Cubans involved in hiring Dario and those who are against him” added Martin.
“Go ahead,” said Bishop.
Martin gazed around trying to see if there were any Italian mobsters present just to be safe.
“Seek out Igor Marino” said Martin, “he frequents my club with his enforcers like Emilio over there in the front door.”
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
“Igor, do you know where he lives?” asked Bishop.
“Beach resort,” said Martin.
Martin soon got out a piece of paper and wrote down the address. Bishop smiled and soon took the paper with the information and allowed Martin to get into his favorite seat.
“Now for the Cubans, there’s a Cuban known as Pablo Soler who has been trying to recruit a new anti-Communist special forces that he wants Dario to train his people” said Martin, “I only know those sorts of rumors. I don’t know where Pablo is, but Igor might since they formerly worked together.”
“Thanks for the tip, Martin” said Bishop.
Bishop soon headed towards the front area of the club, Emilio immediately sighed seeing Bishop somehow got passed him.
“Should have expected you to do something like this” said Emilio, “glad you only managed to sneak through and not fight anyone this time.”
“How is someone like Igor Marino as a boss?” asked Bishop.
“He pays well” said Emilio, “break a few bones here and there of his adversaries no problem.”
That’s all the sort of information Bishop was ever going to receive, he soon headed towards his car and started to drive off. The Miami neon lights glared across the sky with some reflecting off of Bishop’s sunglasses as he drove. Bishop’s next stop was Igor Marino’s beach resort; it would take him at least twenty minutes to get there. When Bishop arrived, the resort was more like a manor near the beach. There were no gates, but Bishop noticed a few Italian mobsters as bodyguards lurking about.
“Stay focus” thought Bishop to himself.
Bishop could tell that Igor was home, that he knew where this Pablo Soler character was. As Bishop parked his car, he carefully headed towards where the bodyguards were on patrol. He has to find a way to sneak inside knowing he wouldn’t be just welcomed in with open arms.
“This place is crawling with bodyguards” thought Bishop.
Bishop had to be careful as he began to sneak around. He noticed that Igor would be on the second floor of his resort rather than on the first floor. As he headed around the back he ducked around a bush as a bodyguard came lurking about. Bishop had to be careful; this wasn’t like the dobermann dog guard back at the club.
