Bishop parked his car just outside Martin Hornigold’s club, he could see there was a bouncer on duty checking everyone as they lined up. The bouncer was aware of Bishop’s past antics with Hornigold. The bouncer – Emilio Bianchi had often done odd jobs for the local Italian Mafia in Miami. He could tell Bishop’s presence would mean trouble for Hornigold’s club.
“Not so fast there Bishop, I know exactly why you’re here” said Emilio, “to cause trouble!”
Bishop knew he would have to try to reason with Emilio as best as he could, the bouncer wasn’t going to budge unless if they were direct orders from Hornigold himself.
“No way I am letting you in the club, you were snooping around harassing Hornigold’s employees the last time you were here,” said Emilio.
“Only because they were working with Alfred Jackman, but now he’s long gone still in jail with his gang,” said Bishop.
Emilio rolled his eyes, he knew Bishop would be big trouble. He stood firm, preventing Bishop from going in further. Bishop knew he would have to sneak around the back, or search for some other entrance. As Bishop headed off around the alleyway, he noticed a fence, and also what appeared to be a dobermann dog guard. The lone dobermann saw Bishop and began to growl.
“Hmm, there has to be some way I can get around that mutt” thought Bishop.

Bishop didn’t have anything to protect himself with, he headed over towards the nearest diner – Zwart’s Cafe where he knew there would be plenty of leftovers that he could use as a distraction for the dobermann. As Bishop checked the dumpster, he eventually came across some bacon and even some hamburger meat.
“I guess this will have to do” sighed Bishop.
Bishop managed to find a bag within the dumpster and placed the meat inside. He then headed back towards the fence and tossed the meat over. The lone dobermann immediately began to munch on its meal enabling Bishop to climb up the fence.
“Nice timing” thought Bishop.
Bishop soon leaped down, the dobermann was too full to bother with Bishop. Bishop then began to sneak around the back area of the club; he noticed a few trucks were moving in with some of Hornigold’s supplies. It was the perfect timing for him to sneak right on in. The detective eventually managed not to be seen at all by the other bouncers around the back area of the club. He was able to slip through the backdoor and into the main bar area.
“I’m in” thought Bishop.
Bishop glanced around, he could see that everyone there were oblivious to his presence, he then noticed Martin Hornigold’s table was empty for the time being. Bishop decided to be the ever so sly detective that he was and just occupy Hornigold’s seat. Martin Hornigold was busy in his office upstairs making a few unrelated business calls. He was unaware of Bishop’s intrusion into his club.
“Thank you again” said Martin on the phone with one of his business patrons.
Martin soon hung up and headed downstairs with a few of his bodyguards. As they headed down, one of the bodyguards spotted Bishop sitting in Martin’s favorite section of his table.
“BISHOP!” cried Martin.
Martin couldn’t believe that Bishop got pass his new bouncer Emilio, he could tell this was strictly about trying to get information on a case he was working for someone he knew.
