  One of the oldest documented spells. The oldest evidence of it's use appears in the Southern Nile Valley, or the Sahel region. Melted bones are a common marker, and the oldest melted bones in the region are from 6,000 B.C.E Crocodilians have always been near humans, and thus their strong stomach acid as well. This is why in many places, the local name approximates to different things like “Crocodile Gut” based on the culture. Though stomach acid isn’t the only acid used in this spell set, it is likely the one that inspired it, once again as evidenced by the usual nomenclature.
