1.2 Blood Boiler

"I loved making my enemies boil and burst from the inside out during the war. One of the oldest spells in human history. You can't beat the classics!"- Mick the Butcher, a Wizard War veteran known for his brutality.

As the name suggests, Blood Boiler is just as it sounds. The earliest written evidence of it's use is during the Roman Empire. During the Teutoburg Forest campaign, many of the non magical soldiers began to suddenly smoke from their bodies and rapidly expand and explode, their fluids turning to super heated gas. The blood would stick to those around them like hot tar. While the earliest written use is during the Roman Empire, remains and splatter patterns discovered in the Eurasian Steppe indicate this spell could have been used as early as 1,400 B.C.E
