"Just four more to go" Allie said, glancing at the list.

  "So, what's next?" Her mother asked her.

  "Penguins!" Allie retorted.

  They arrived at the penguin enclosure where Allie and Lilah admired their cuteness. The penguins came hobbling up to them, all except one, CJ noticed. This particular penguin sat on a hill of snow, folding it's flippers. It was unusual to the other penguins. It was wider and it had white spots on each side of it's face. Next on the twin's list were the lions, which they were lucky enough to get real close to. Four of the lions came close to the cage, one of the males showed off by rouring ridiculously loud.

  "Can we go to the next one?" Lilah asked the twins nervously.

  "What for?" Allie asked.

  "Yeah, lions are cool" CJ stated.

  "I know, it's just, I don't like the way that one's staring at us" Lilah told them, pointing to a sole male lion.

  The twins looked in that direction. She was right. It was just sitting on a large rock in the middle of the cage. Staring directly at them. This started scaring Allie and CJ, so they continued down their list. The second last animal were the meerkats, whose cage was directly opposite the lion's. Allie and CJ put their faces against the glass, gazing downwards at the meerkats. The meerkats were adorable, but unfortunately really tiny.

  "I want a closer look" Allie stated, handing CJ the list as their parents admired the animals two cages down.

  She got down on all fours and crawled under the sign.

  "What happened to mature choices?" CJ asked his sister, looking down at her.

  "Like Dad said this morning, it's my birthday," Allie quoted her father, "I can start that tomorrow"

  CJ rolled his eyes at this and handed the camera down to his sister.

  "They're so cute really close" Allie told him as she climbed out from under the sign.

  "Allie..." CJ trailed, taking back the camera.

  "What? What is it, CJ?" Allie asked her brother.

  Allie thought her brother was playing a prank on her so she decided to go along with it.

  "Your ears..They're..They're shrinking" CJ said nervously.

  "Oh no" Allie said sarcastically and began feeling her ears.

  There was only one problem. He wasn't kidding. Her ears had literally shrunk and moved upwards towards the top of her head. CJ then noticed as she felt her face pushing outward and felt fur growing all over her body. Allie then felt the back of her jeans rip as something long grew out of her bottom.

  "Allie, you're a meerkat!" CJ said in astonishment.

  "If that's your way of saying I'm cute, thank you, CJ" Allie told him.

  "No, he's being serious," Lilah stated, "Come on!"

  Lilah and CJ dragged her into the gift shop which was close by. They hid her looks from the customers and dragged her to a mirror.

  "Look!" Lilah said, "You're a freakshow!"

  Allie gasped softly as she noticed her brother was telling the truth. There in the mirror was a life-size meerkat wearing her clothes. She had been turned into a meerkat.
