Training 2

  [Midoriya Izuku's POV]

The sun had barely risen over Seaside Bay when Izuku arrived, his muscles already protesting from the day before. The beach—once a picturesque coastline—was now a dumping ground, littered with rusting appliances, shattered furniture, and heaps of garbage piled over years of neglect.

And All Might expected him to clean it.

  All of it.

  "Good morning, Young Midoriya!"

Izuku turned at the sound of All Might's voice. The No. 1 Hero stood atop a dented refrigerator, arms akimbo, his skeletal form outlined by the dawn. Even diminished, he radiated presence.

"G-good morning, All Might!" Izuku said, bowing slightly as he adjusted his gloves.

All Might jumped down, nding lightly. "Today marks the beginning of your true journey! Six months of rigorous bor to shape you into a vessel worthy of One For All!" He cpped Izuku on the shoulder. "If I gave it to you now, you'd explode like a microwave full of eggs."

  Izuku gulped. "R-right!"

All Might gestured grandly. "Today's goal: Clear that mountain of tires and haul that mangled washing machine to the dumpster."

Izuku nodded, determination fring in his eyes. "Yes, sir!"

  ---

  Six Months of Hell

The days bled into each other.

Morning to night, Izuku lifted, hauled, and sweated through every kind of physical exhaustion. His hands blistered. His legs buckled. There were nights he colpsed on his bed too sore to move.

But every time he wanted to quit, All Might's words echoed in his ears:

"A hero's strength comes not just from power—but from perseverance."

  ---

One particurly hot afternoon, Izuku fought to drag a rusted car axle across the sand. His muscles screamed in protest.

All Might watched from atop a broken vending machine, sipping from a water bottle. "You're getting stronger, my boy. I can see it."

"N-not fast enough!" Izuku gasped, wiping sweat from his eyes. "UA's exam... I have to be ready!"

All Might chuckled. "And you will be. Look how much cleaner the beach is. That's you. Your hard work made that happen."

Izuku looked around. He hadn't noticed it until now—the piles were smaller. The sand was beginning to emerge.

"You think I can really do it?" he asked quietly.

All Might smiled. "You're already doing it."

  ---

At the three-month mark, Izuku stood in front of the bathroom mirror, a towel around his neck.

  His reflection stunned him.

Gone was the lean muscur boy. He was still lean, but now his arms were cut with more muscle. His chest broader. His posture straighter.

"Wow... Is this really me?" he whispered, poking his abdomen.

"Izuku! Breakfast!" his mother called from the kitchen.

  "Coming!" he yelled back, grinning.

  ---

Six months ter, the beach was unrecognizable. The shoreline sparkled. The junk heaps were gone.

All Might stood in the center, arms crossed, pride in his eyes.

  "You did it, Young Midoriya."

Izuku's legs gave out. He dropped to his knees, tears stinging his eyes. "I... I actually finished..."

All Might kneeled beside him. "You surpassed every expectation. Your body is ready."

  Izuku looked up. "You mean...?"

All Might reached into his pocket. "It's time."

  ---

From a napkin, All Might revealed a single golden hair.

"Eat this," he said with no trace of irony.

  Izuku blinked. "Excuse me?"

"For the power to pass, my DNA must be absorbed. This strand of hair is more than enough."

Izuku stared at the hair, then at the smiling face of his idol. "You want me to... eat your hair."

"It's not as gross as it sounds," All Might said cheerfully.

Izuku reluctantly pinched the hair, stared at it like it was a cursed object, and popped it into his mouth.

  He gagged.

All Might burst out ughing. "Effective, if not exactly dignified."

Izuku shuddered. "Do I... feel different now?"

"It'll take time," All Might expined. "One For All needs to settle inside your body. But make no mistake, Young Midoriya—you now carry the hopes of generations."

Izuku's heart pounded. It was real. It was finally happening.

  ---

They walked side by side, the ocean breeze at their backs.

"Three months until the entrance exam," All Might said. "Now, we train you to wield your power."

Izuku nodded. "I'll work even harder. I won't waste this gift."

All Might smiled warmly. "I believe in you."

[Sasaki Kenjiro's POV – Same Morning]

Perched on the rooftop of a nearby warehouse, Sasaki Kenjiro squinted through binocurs, watching Midoriya and All Might walk away from the beach.

"So, the transfer finally happened," he murmured.

He flexed his mochi-coated fingers, letting them stretch and whip back like rubber bands.

"Three months to go, huh? Let's see what One For All can do... compared to me."

With a grin, Kenjiro stepped off the ledge and vanished into the city.
