Shido: Alright, here I go.Right now, I’m pying hide and seek with a group of kids, including Satoshi. [Ugh!] Satoshi is, by far, the best at this game. One time, we didn’t find him until the next day—they almost called the police.
I used Rasiel to locate him; he was in a tree at the park, having fallen asleep while waiting to be found. Since that day, if we can’t find him within an hour, I use Rasiel to search for him.
Shido: Behind the bush is Shinji, and behind the fence is Sakura.I said that, and a grumpy Shinji and a giggling Sakura came out. I kept finding one by one until only Satoshi remained. We all joined forces to look for him. After an hour of searching, I used Rasiel to find him.{It turns out he was hiding in pin sight; he put on a hood and was one of the kids helping us search.}
I don’t know how, but he went unnoticed. Even I was helping, and he spoke to me, but I didn’t recognize his voice. I think he might have presence concealment or optical camoufge skills. I also think he’s either immortal or extremely resilient. I saw him get electrocuted, and he just said it tickled. I swear I even saw the electricity, and he kept saying it just tickled.
Well, leaving aside my specution about his supposed immortality, a lot has changed in these three years. One of the most noticeable things is that Aika started wearing gsses and acting suspiciously. Sometimes I see her gsses glint, then she writes something in a notebook and stores it as if nothing happened. Very strange. Very strange.
But leaving aside the mundane and focusing more on the supernatural, I’ve been practicing with Zafkiel from Kurumi, Michael from Mukuro, and Rasiel from Nia.[For those who don’t know what these angels’ abilities are, here’s a summary:]
Angel Zafkiel:First Bullet Aleph (一の弾(アレフ) Arefu): Speeds up the external time of the target. Used on herself to increase her own speed in battle.
Second Bullet Bet (二の弾(ベート) Bēto): Slows down the external time of the target. Used to stop an approaching enemy as an alternative to the Seventh Bullet since it consumes less of her time.
Third Bullet Gimmel (三の弾(ギメル) Gimeru): Speeds up the internal time of the target. Makes the target age faster.
Fourth Bullet Dalet (四の弾(ダレット) Daretto): Rewinds the internal time of the target. Capable of restoring all physical injuries but unable to revive the dead.
Fifth Bullet Hei (五の弾(ヘイ) Hei): Allows the user to see the target’s future. Excessive use strains the mind due to multiple simultaneous visions.
Sixth Bullet Vav (六の弾(ヴァヴ) Vavu): Sends the target’s consciousness to a past version of themselves. Only the consciousness is sent, and both Reiryoku and time used are restored with each loop, allowing for repeated use until accumuted mental fatigue becomes too much. Unlike the Twelfth Bullet, the user cannot control the time period to which they return, with just a few days being the maximum.
Seventh Bullet Zayin (七の弾(ザイン) Zain): Temporarily freezes the target’s time.
Eighth Bullet Het (八の弾(へット) Hetto): Creates a temporary clone of the target.
Ninth Bullet Tet (九の弾(テット) Tetto): Allows sharing senses with someone in a different time axis.
Tenth Bullet Yud (十の弾(ユッド) Yuddo): Allows the user to see the target’s past.
Eleventh Bullet Yud Aleph (十一の弾(ユッド?アレフ) Yuddo Arefu): Sends the target to the future. The time traveled is exponentially proportional to the time and Reiryoku spent. After the effects wear off, the user returns to their original time period.
Twelfth Bullet Yud Bet (十二の弾(ユッド?ベート) Yuddo Betto): Sends the target to the past, sharing the characteristics of the Eleventh Bullet.
Angel Michael:Segva: Seals certain functions of the target. Can also seal other angels' abilities. At full power, it could stop the Earth's rotation.
Rātaibu: Opens spatial holes that can be used for teleportation, summoning meteors, or redirecting incoming attacks.
Shifurū: Unlocks Michael’s true potential, transforming it from a key-shaped khakkhara into a Chinese halberd. It can also awaken the tent power of other Spirits.
Heresu: Disassembles Reiryoku and the molecur bonds holding things together.
Tefetē: Reduces Michael to a miniature version small enough to fit in the palm of a hand.
Unnamed Energy Beam: A concentrated spiritual energy beam that can pierce anything.
Angel Rasiel:A book that can provide the user with information about anything that has ever happened in the world, regardless of pce or time. However, it cannot predict future events. All written in Rasiel becomes reality, but it cannot change the future absolutely.
I’ve been hunting street demons at night. First, I search for them with Rasiel, then teleport to their location with Michael, stop them using the Second Bullet from Zafkiel, and finish them off with Michael by halting their locks.
Since demons absorbed by Zafkiel’s shadow give me thousands of years of life, I don’t worry about my lifespan. I haven’t created Kurumi’s clone army yet since they would appear as eight-year-old kids.
I’ve gotten used to hunting at night quickly because Miko notices when I’m not at home. If she stops hearing my heartbeat, she searches for me. She doesn’t know about my powers; she just thinks I stepped outside to use the bathroom.
I’m not sure what I’ll do when I’m older, with a little sister who can hear everything from her room. Maybe I’ll get her some headphones so she doesn’t have to hear a pin drop in the next room. She’s learned to filter out extra noise and only listen to what’s in her room.
This year, she’ll start primary school. I’d better get her those headphones sooner rather than ter so she won’t get overwhelmed by her cssmates’ crying.
The next chapter will be when I’m ten years old.
