Chapter 3: Somethings Never Change

It was a standoff between Commander Bao and his forces and the Americans led by Colonel Bryce and LT. Colonel Tony. The gray alien Chares was having a front row seat to the drama that he had caused.

"Now this is entertainment" laughed Chares.

Chares could hear shouting matches in both Vietnamese and English being thrown at each othe rmostly the main rank-in-file soldiers doing the dirty work.

"YOU IMPERIALIST PIGS!" yelled a Vietnamese soldier in broken English.

"Yea, you're still starving" laughed an American soldier who cracked a joke about Communism.

Back and forth, not even Colonel Bryce could maintain being professional, he soon encouraged his men to try to move forward. But Commander Bao and his men simply responded by getting involved in a melee fight with their American counterparts.

  "Now's my chance" laughed Chares.

Chares using the dynamite that he had stolen from the village soon began to light the dynamite sticks and began to plant them around the interior of the saucer. He was making sure no side would be getting the alien technology.

"Just to be safe" laughed Chares.

The gray alien soon scattered back into the bushes of the jungle -- Commander Bao could sense something was off, as he turned around much to his surprise dynamite sticks were within the saucer!

If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

  "DYNAMITE!" cried Commander Bao.

Commander Bao quickly instructed his men to stop fighting the Americans and soon huddled next to them -- BOOM the saucer that had crashed exploded into pieces. There was very little for both sides to salvage.

"Who did this?!" cried LT. Colonel Tony, "Nobody on our side planted the dynamite!"

"Well it wasn't anyone on mine" said Commander Bao.

Back and forth bickering continued, until Colonel Bryce spotted something odd in the bushes nearby -- he could see the gray alien responsible for destroying the saucer.

"It's the alien, he's still here!" cried Colonel Bryce.

  "AFTER HIM!" cried Commander Bao.

Chares had to flee, he knew what his instructions were -- he would have to hide in the nearby village. As Chares managed to find a hut to hide in, both American and Vietnamese soldiers began to spread out. The villagers soon had no choice but to cooperate -- the village elder -- Dong Su soon emerged to greet Commander Bao and his two American counterparts.

"The American colonel states he saw an alien go through the village" said Commander Bao.

  "Go ahead, search" said Dong.

Dong and the other villagers agreed to assist both sides to search for the alien. Chares knew he would be surely found. He soon noticed a blanket and decided to disguise himself as an old woman. As he began to dress up, one villager soon emerged from the entrance.

  "Eek!" cried Chares.

"So sorry" said the villager as he then left.

The villager didn't realize it was the gray alien all along. Chares soon began to make a hole in the hut's back area, he then crawled through the hole and began to head towards the nearest mountain top. Hopefully he could alert a gray alien captain to take him to safety away from the primitive Earthlings.

"So far, nothing" said Colonel Bryce.

Colonel Bryce did his best trying to scan the village but neither side were having any luck at the moment.
