Chapter 6: Meeting Dwight Again and Thad’s Excitement

Rascal did his best trying to track the call of where Dwight was – Dwight was still at Poyldora El’s boot camp. He was waiting for the rider share car to arrive.

“Twenty minutes?!” cried Dashing Dwight as he gazed at his cellphone.

There was still heavy traffic across the streets of downtown Los Angeles, and it was just enough time for Rascal to spot Dwight waiting on the street.

  “DWIGHT!” cried Rascal with joy.

Rascal soon gave Dwight a big warm hug, the robot was reunited with his creator, but only for just a few minutes.

“I am so happy to see you,” said Rascal.

“Me too” said Dashing Dwight, “but I have been assigned to infiltrate the space station of the Department of Relativity as a technician. I’m sorry if you are worried for me, but I will be okay.”

Rascal, if he could cry would develop a tear right now.

“Good luck in space,” said Rascal.

Rascal and Dwight chatted a little to pass the time, it was enough until Dwight’s ride actually arrived – an octopus alien soon drove up in his hovercraft car.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

“Come on, time’s a wasting” said the octopus alien.

Dwight soon said his goodbye to Rascal and soon took off.

“The spaceport at LAX” laughed the octopus driver, “nice.”

Dwight said nothing during his ride, he gazed back at Rascal and waved one more time. Meanwhile, on Thad’s end, Thad was excited he got to go out on a date with Ms. Fai Yong. Loca wasn’t so certain that such a relationship would be approved. Sure, Loca agreed with many subjects that Thad liked – but dating someone older that was something not even Loca would dare cross.

“I am sure your guardian Matthew Kidd wouldn’t approve of the date” said Loca.

“Him?” laughed Thad, “I have seen his profile on how he and Ashley Fromm bumped into each other at a Las Vegas hotel.”

As the day finally came to a close, Thad was picked up by the driverless car with Matthew in the shotgun seat.

“Why are you so happy today?” asked Matthew.

“I got a date,” laughed Thad.

Thad purposely wouldn’t dare let Matthew know who it was, as the driverless car soon rode off to fight traffic, Matthew could tell Thad was purposely hiding something from him. The car continued to fight through the traffic, Thad kept on sending flirty text messages to Fai on her end.

“I do have my way with the ladies” laughed Thad as he received a flirty response from Fai.

Once the car arrived at its destination – Numerius the Robo Monk greeted Matthew and Thad.

“I have made stew for dinner” said Numerius.

“You mean soup on a plate?” asked Thad.

  “It is stew” said Numerius.

The two bantered back and forth for a bit, until Numerius didn’t want to fight with Thad anymore. Thad’s date with Fai would happen on Friday at the end of the week. The perfect timing for his schedule. As for Matthew, Matthew was still trying to adjust to the 22nd century, trying to visit his old haunts that had changed so much since he was gone. As Thad sat down, he was picky on terms of eating his stew while Matthew had no problem at all.

“This is soup it should be in a bowl,” said Thad.

“You’ll have it on a plate” said Numerius.

Numerius didn’t want to dabble into it, and Thad had to deal with the strange stew meal on his plate.
