She has always been clumsy, a trait that had pgued her throughout all her life.
"Kras! Hurry the fuck up!" The coworker shouted in impatience.
He watched Kras try to carefully pick up the trashbags resting on the alley's walls.
"I-I don't wanna mess up, man! I have to attend a reunion party tonight!" Kras shouted back nervously.
"If you don't hurry your ass up then you're not gonna reach the party either, idiot!" The co-worker shouted back.
"Oh, yeah!" Kras shouted back, hurrying up. But, just as she was about to reach the garbage truck she tripped. She fell, letting go of the trash-bags and falling to the dirty street. Her eyes widened as she recognized a torn up soda can in her trajectory.
Unfortunately, she was far too te as she fell face first on the soda can.
"OH SHIT! KRAS!" The coworker shouted.
"AGHH!" Kras shouted, immediately pushed herself up and sat on the ground.
She felt dizzy, and a sharp pain pulsating in her face. She opened her eyes but noticed that the position of the world had changed a little, or rather her perception of it. She tried to stand up, stumbling but managing to stand up.
"Kras! Your fucking eye!" The coworker shouted.
The coworker immediately helped her up.
"What happened to me, Uno... D-Did..." Kras spoke.
"Shut the fuck up first. Hey, Jam! Call the fucking ambunce, Kras' face got fucked up!" Uno shouted at the driver.
"I'm already talking to em', dumbass! Shut up! Lady said to not pull out anything that's inside the wound and wash her face! Don't use that dirty rag!" Jam, the driver of the garbage truck, shouted as he climbed down his vehicle.
Jam immediately went to one of the houses, knocking on the door asking if they could use their bathroom or a sink.
"Here! Uno!" Jam shouted at Uno, then pointed at the house.
Uno helped Kras to walk to the house, while Jam quickly thanked the house owner.
"U-Uno... I'm getting dizzy, what happened... AGH!" Kras grunted as the running water made contact with her wound.
"A fucking soda can folded your ass, idiot." Uno spoke, he was nervous and spoke a lot softer.
"Wait, her eye looks a bit shitty." Jam said to the responder on the phone.
Jam then listened to the responder on the phone, then one of the family member of the house walked down from her room. She looked nervous but determined.
"Umm... Sir..." The family member spoke from behind Jam.
"Hmm...? What is it, Miss?" Jam asked, turning around while holding his phone beside his ear.
"I-I have an Ego that can heal... Can I help?" The family member asked.
Jam's eyes widened.
"There's someone with an Ego that can heal." Jam told the responder on the phone.
Jam then further listened to the responder's instructions.
"Okay, miss. Are you good at healing?" Jam asked.
"It's only a bit but it's strong." The family member replied.
Jam nodded.
"Uno, look at Kras' face and use your Birthright to take out things that are on her wound." Jam shouted.
"What? Are you fu-... Are you serious?! My Birthright are tongs! The things that pick up food, like hotdogs!" Uno compined.
"You gonna use your fingers then? Idiot." Jam replied.
Uno just turned to Kras who seemed disoriented by her wound, Uno muttered a compin but unbuttoned his shirt. He then pressed his hand to the middle of his bare chest which had a silver-colored diamond birthmark, slowly the birthmark glowed and a pair of metal tongs manifested right in front of the mark.
Uno caught it just before it fell, he washed the tongs then looked at Kras.
"Don't move, or we might screw up your wound even more." Uno spoke, Kras responded with a nod.
Kras stood up as straight as she could and Uno started to pick up some small rocks that made it into the wound and a part of a soda can that seemed to be lodged in her eye. Kras shuddered and held back a scream of pain as the piece of the soda was removed from her eye.
Uno turned around, his forehead drenched in sweat and shakily nodded to signal them. The family member slowly approached Kras, Kras bent down so the family member can easily and comfortably reach her face.
The family member closed her eyes, clutching her shirt in nervousness.
"U-Uhhh... You can come out now, Wawa..." The family member slightly blushed as she'd realized how childish her Ego's name was.
The triangle mark below her left eye glowed, and a small caterpilr-looking being manifested into reality in front of the family member's face. As it finished its manifestation, it fell down to the family member's shirt and quickly climbed up to her forearm.
The small caterpilr looked very fluffy with its snow white fur, its face had two small pinchers that served as its mouth. Its eyes were a glowing muted light green, and it had two nubs protruding from its forehead which were glowing though less bright than its eyes. On its chest were two sets of small furless caterpilr legs then all the way to its lower end were another three sets of legs which were furred. The small caterpilr climbed to the family member's forearm.
The small caterpilr approached Kras while on the family member's arm and gently rubbed its head into her right cheek, the green glowing nubs shined bright. Kras felt a calming sensation as the caterpilr did its thing, slowly soothing her pain.
Warmth repced pain as she felt her facial wounds started to heal. Kras' eyes widened from relief and in wonder, but she did fully realize that after being brought back to lucidity that she had indeed lost vision in her left eye. She internally sighed, but she faced the family member with a grateful smile.
"Uh- Um... Thank you, Miss. Your caterpilr was very cute." Kras spoke to the family member.
The caterpilr then crawled back to the girl's shoulder, the girl responded with an excited smile.
"Uhh, looks like it's okay now. Thanks." Jam said to the responder through the phone, promptly ending the call after the responder has replied.
"Kras... your a-... You got lucky this time." Uno said, refusing his urge to cuss at her.
The family member's Ego had sufficient healing to remove scarring but could not restore her left eye's vision. Soon after, Kras insisted on completing the route despite losing vision on one of her eyes and almost receiving a permanent scar on her face. Uno wanted to drag Kras back to her house but Jam agreed to Kras' request, that weekly bonus was hefty enough for him to understand her insistence.

The party was a High School Reunion, hosted by the css president in the past. Kras attended wearing a normal casual clothes, simply because it was her nicest and most pleasant smelling outfit that she had in her closet.
Being a garbage collector always had its downside, most prominent in her social life was the smell she had to wash off every time she went home. This night, she made sure to buy and use the most pleasant smelling soaps and hygiene products. They were incredibly expensive, hence her interest in the weekly bonus.
Still, she didn't expect this...
Her ex-cssmates were a LOT more extravagant than she was, clothes that looked like it costed the entirety of her networth and jewelry that could pay her rent for months. But, those were simply the 'appetizers'. What everyone wanted to showcase were the 'greatness' of their Birthrights.
The Weapon Birthrights, the ones with the silver diamond birthmarks on the middle of their chest showed said birthmark proudly. They made sure their clothing had cut-outs so their birthmarks could be clearly viewed, Kras never understood why though. It was quite an embarrassing area to show bare skin of, so she almost never showed her own weapon birthmark.
Not like she ever needed to summon her weapon though... Useless thing...
Meanwhile, the Art Birthrights, put on a ton of hair pins, earrings, piercings to show attention to their faces. Their golden circle birthmarks shine through even amidst their fancy accessories. Their clothes covered a ton of their skin, probably to focus people's attention to their faces where their Birthmarks were at.
Oddly enough, the Form Birthrights wore 'basic' formal clothing. They had physical Birthrights so they didn't have any birthmarks, though it was still evident that they too were showing off their Birthrights. For example, one of them had golden chains wrap around their Birthright which were bck feathered wings, and another one had gigantic silver earrings that had sapphire gems attached to said earrings, to decorate their long ears comparable to that of fictional elves.
Lastly, the Ego Birthrights wore masks decorated with certain beautiful crystals. It's apparently apart of their Ego culture, for a Birthright type given the name of 'Ego', it seems that the culture around it wasn't quite as egotistical as its name implied. Their bck triangle birthmarks were of course hidden by their masks, nevertheless they also showed off their Birthrights.
They summoned their Egos, either to follow behind them, y on their shoulders or ride on their backs. Most had medium to small sized egos, like fairies, bird-like egos, dog-like egos. There were some notable ones though, like the giant knight ego that followed behind its owner as she conversed with others, and the green ego that looked like a bald faceless human with eight arms; it massaged its owners' shoulders while he dined on his meal. Lastly, there was the huge red-feathered vulture that perched on top of the mansion's roof, it was almost as big as a bus.
All in all, it was a harsh reminder to Kras' social and economic status. She felt incredibly envious but she also felt a bit disillusioned by the life of luxury that her ex-cssmates lived, did they really need to be this grand for a HIGH SCHOOL reunion party? Somehow, it made Kras feel a bit more okay with herself.
She awkwardly walked up to one of the buffet tables in her painfully eye-catching outfit that contrasted the formal suits and dresses of her ex-cssmates, she caught people's attention which she promptly ignored. Her attention was more pointed towards the numerous delectable looking foods on the table.
She picked up a pte and pointed to the serving workers which food she wanted on her pte, this was one of the few reasons why she was happy she attended the party. After filling up her pte, she went to a vacant table and picked up her utensils. Luckily, there was also going to be entertainment to pair with her meal.
The good ole' bragging event, where her ex-cssmates can come to the stage positioned at the back of the giant room to showcase their talents.
Kras happily ate her fill as she watched her ex-cssmates showcase their Birthrights, they were quite entertaining. The Weapon Birthrights were definitely the most diverse, some had normal conventional weapons while a select few had skillfully forged weapons, like a sword that could cut through diamonds, a revolver that shot shockwave-causing bullets, an orb that disrupted all electrical devices in the vicinity and a spear that could freeze things it comes into contact with.
The other Birthrights also did their thing, the Art Birthrights created 'superpowered' art. Like creating paintings that boosted healing of wounds if seen, or a small wooden doll that slowed the rate of expiration of everything around it. The Form Birthrights showed off their Birthrights' capablities like flying with their wings or a rge tentacle arm extending over a deceivingly long distance. Whilst, the Ego Birthrights simply showed off their Egos, and their abilities.
The party was pretty fun, though she didn't bother conversing with her ex-cssmates for long mostly because it was rich folk talk and she had no interest in said topics. However, she definitely enjoyed the food and the entertainment.
Still, she was a bit disappointed that she had to unintentionally sacrifice an eye for this party. But, hey, the food was great.

Kras left the party early once she'd noticed that everyone started to mainly talk about rich folk things. And as she'd left the mansion, walking down the stairs, she noticed a figure at the bottom of the stairs. She raised a hand to wave at them but before she could she noticed that they were holding something shining. A metallic sheen clued her in on its silhouette, simir in shape to one of the weapons the Weapon Birthrights showcased today.
A revolver, Kras' eyes widened. She immediately turned around and tried to run, but sacrifices were made.
And consequences were due. Kras looked at the stairs as she tried to step, but missed it and stumbled again.
Crap. I forgot that I don't have both of my eyes anymore...
She hadn't adjusted to her new perception yet...
BANG!
Her head bloated for a sixteenth of a second, before popping like a balloon. The bullet then hit the stairs and ricocheted back, obliterating through her lower stomach area, bisecting her upper and lower body in two.
The figure chuckled.
"One rich kid's deadmeat. Not part of the list so it should be fine. Huh, yeah. My bullet straight up turned her into a puzzle, they'd need a closed casket for em', HAHAHA!" The cloaked figure spoke to the radio on his chest, a big grin on his face.
His revolver had a giant muzzle, realistically impossible for a normal weapon.
"Hey, why not sell the body still? I bet they won't mind adding a little extra tip for a little extra flesh, y'know?" The cloaked figure spoke as he walked up the stairs, nearing the mansion's entrance.

As the sun set, bck vans arrived around the mansion. Multiple people were abducted that day, luckily, no one had died.
No one that people cared about that is.
Inside a cooler in one of the vans, was the cadaver of a clumsy garbage collector.
