Colt looked around his jail cell and only saw ants on the floor and the unfortable bed he had to sleep on for the night .   “Yes sir , Colt Coltson at your service . I hope we clear up this murder situation soon because I have to start my new career in gunslinging and I ’t do that from a jail cell.”

  “Well Colt, I am gd to make use of your expertise because I need your help . the deal is this , find the murderer, retrieve the tax money and not only will I let you go but I’ll pay you for the trouble” said sheriff Dutton

  “No offense sir but why me, don’t you have deputies?” Said Colt

  “Yeah , I have deputies but they are potential suspects. And I need your help fast because if I don’t get that tax money soohe gover will burown to the ground to make an example out of us.” Said sheriff Dutton

  “And if you get any smart idea of running then I’ll make sure t you up until the crows get to you, do you uand?”

  Sheriff Dutton unlocked the door to let colt go and have him a badge so people knew he had permission from the sheriff to du iigation

  “Yes sir I uand, but where do I go first?” Said Colt

  Sheriff Dutton responded “ look at the murder se at the inn, question everyone who may be ected then bring the perpetrator or perpetrators to me for judgement and your reward.”

  So Colt set off to the inn to save his own skin, but he had to admit that he felt excited to be a real life detective even though his life was on the line
