Chapter 126 - A Little Bit of Sinfulness

Although the Advanced Bloodline Card: Kuka Troll was quite good, when compared to the Advanced Bloodline Card: Flame Demon, the difference was vast. One was an ordinary species, while the other was an innately extraordinary one. The disparity in talent strength brought by their bloodlines was even more pronounced.

Not to mention the talent ability [Flame Demon Self-Destruct]—as the ultimate do-or-die skill of the Flame Demon—even without having seen it in action, one could imagine its terrifying power.

Having finished reviewing the entire prize list, William steadied his excited heart.

There was no need for hesitation; he immediately sent a telepathic message to the staff.

“I’ve made my choice. The prize I want is this one—[Advanced Bloodline Card: Flame Demon].”

With that said, William looked at the staff member with great anticipation.

Upon hearing that William wanted the [Advanced Bloodline Card: Flame Demon], the staff member—who had maintained a formulaic tone up until now—finally showed a hint of emotion and offered a reminder.

“Please confirm—are you referring to this particular Flame Demon bloodline card, the one with only two bloodline talents?”

“Don’t just impulsively decide because it’s an innately extraordinary species' card.”

“This card is placed at the end of the prize list because it’s been in the prize pool for a long time.”

“If you just want a good fire element affinity talent, there are many other bloodline cards that could serve as alternatives.”

“My suggestion is to choose a more valuable prize, convert it into divine power, and then purchase the bloodline card you need. That way, you’d still have a fair amount of divine power left over.”

Understanding that the staff member was giving a well-meaning reminder, William simply smiled inwardly.

Most people buy bloodline cards for their potential followers, hoping to develop a high-end combatant.

  But not him.

Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation.

All he needed was to give the hatching nest one extraordinary bloodline card, and it could mass-produce second-generation followers with the same bloodline magic.

They were consumables to be thrown into battle.

The joy of explosive destruction was something this staff member could never imagine.

William didn’t bother to explain. He simply replied sincerely:

“Thank you for your suggestion, but my situation is unique. I really do need this advanced extraordinary bloodline card. Please help me with the exchange.”

Seeing William’s insistence, the staff member said no more, simply replying:

  “Please follow me.”

Then led William toward the inner area of the hall.

In just two minutes, they passed through the hall and made several turns, arriving at what looked like a storage room.

The staff member extended a beam of light, pointing to another staff member at the window of the storage room.

“This is the prize vault manager. Just give your exchange code and the item number from the list.”

With that, the guiding light orb turned and floated back the way it came.

Now fully focused on the Flame Demon bloodline card, William wasted no time.

Without another word, he extended a beam of light toward the vault manager and transmitted his exchange code and the [Advanced Bloodline Card: Flame Demon] item number.

After verifying the exchange code, the vault manager turned and entered the storage room.

When he returned, a beam of light extended from him, carrying the bloodline card William had been longing for.

William quickly took the card, verified it, and instantly absorbed it into his body.

Only then did he thank the staff and teleport away.

According to his schedule, William instantly teleported to the Weapons Specialty Market.

The layout here was similar to that of the bloodline card market.

William took a quick tour around the market before selecting a relatively large store.

An ad on the storefront read: "Free appraisal of all equipment sold to our store!"

William planned to offload the spoils he had brought back from the recent competition in the divine realm.

He floated quickly into the store’s main hall, scanned the area, and soon found the Weapons & Equipment Services Section.

It was a whole row of counters on the edge of the store, with divine power projections of nameplates hovering above each one.

Although William couldn’t read the characters, the moment his divine sense touched them, he instantly understood their meanings:

[Equipment Repair], [Equipment Recycling], [Consignment Sale], [Custom Equipment], [Equipment Appraisal]…

Many people were crowded in that section, dealing with all sorts of business—it was quite bustling.

Seeing this, William floated straight toward the [Equipment Appraisal] counter.

Passing through the product area of the hall, he arrived at the counter just as one became available.

William immediately stepped forward, extended a beam of light, and handed over a sealed card to the staff member behind the counter, transmitting his intent:

“These are the items I’d like to sell to your store. Please help me evaluate their value.”
