Chapter ten : THE KISS.

It was a bright beautiful morning, the sun was shining, the leaves on the trees were fluttering with the breeze. The atmosphere was amazing and humid, a perfect day to play games, magical games. Moses and Agnes were in the castle, Dave hadn't returned from his little trip yet and Moses doesn't seem to be worried about it. And Agnes hadn't noticed Dave's absence.

The animals sowed beautiful plain white clothes for both of them. Moses was given a beautiful fitting native clothing, with a long sleeve shirt and fitting trousers. Agnes was given a beautiful gown that almost made her look like someone destined to walk on a red carpet. They also helped her to style her hair so it was straight and curly instead of being bushy.

Agnes and Dave prepared lots of sandwiches, which they ate as they played together in the castle. They walked to the highest part of the castle. Agnes had created a huge slide out of plastic from all the plastic bags and other plastic throughout the plain land. The slide reached all the way from the top of the highest point in the castle, reaching all the way down to the bottom. Moses was the first to go, his shirt whipped around in the wind as he slid down, he whooped loudly in happiness and fear. It seemed like anytime he reached a turn he was going to fly off the slide.

He got to the bottom. “It's your turn Agnes com'n”

“Umm...“ Agnes said, looking down in fear. “I think I'm gonna pass” She stepped back, her heart drumming loudly as she stared down at the bottom of the castle, it felt like all her insides turned anytime she looked down.

“Oh please, you literally made the slide” Moses shouted. “Come down or I'll do something you don't like”

“I'd like to see you try” Agnes said. She was about to walk away, suddenly a strong wind blew her, she stumbled and fell on the slide, tumbling down in an awkward position.

She screamed as she slid down, finally landing in front of Moses, who was gasping for hair from his laugh.

“I could have died” Agnes cried, holding her chest. “I'm not playing again” Her eyes turned purple and the slide broke apart, turning into the materials it was originally created from, and everything came tumbling down on Moses. She burst into laughter, Moses staring at her, stuck under everything.

“Not so funny when it's you...is it? “

They decided to play another game which they called, dodge the tornado. Agnes made a small maze out of tall grasses and Moses put little tornadoes that move around. The goal is to complete the maze without getting touched by the tornado. After a while of playing, Agnes had the highest scores which she bragged about to make Moses feel jealous.

They moved to another game which they called lure the rabbit. They were lying down on the floor, a rabbit in-between them. Agnes's plate of sandwiches was empty but Moses still had a half sandwich on his plate.

“Come on rabbit, come to me” Moses said in his calm tone, flashing the rabbit a cute smile.

“No” Agnes also said calmly. “Come to me, you like me more than Moses” They were both gesturing at the rabbit to come to them.

The rabbit stared at Moses and back at Agnes, wondering in whose arms it should go to.

“You're the cutest bunny in the world” Moses said. The rabbit was about to walk towards him.

“Umm...“ Agnes thought rapidly on how to make it come to her. “Moses hates stuffed bunnies” It looked at her.

“Yes” He said. “Because I prefer the real ones”

  “He's lying, come to me”

  “No, come to me”

“I'm sure you taste delicious” Agnes said suddenly. Moses gasped, the rabbit looked at Agnes in shock, looking offended. Moses immediately used the chance to make Agnes look bad.

“Oh my goodness. Agnes, how dare you talk about a friend like that” He said with an evil grin. Before she could defend herself the rabbit walked over to Agnes and slapped her with its paw.

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

  “Ouch!“ Agnes exclaimed. Moses laughed.

It hopped over to Moses arms and snuggled in. “Yes!“ He said joyfully. “Now we are tied” He stands up. “That's four points to four points. One more point and I'm winning”

“You mean I'm winning” Agnes said, standing up too.

“That's what I said, I'm winning” Moses said, making Agnes chuckle. They stared at eachother for a second and immediately looked away, things became awkward, which was broken by Agnes.

“Where's Dave, haven't seen him today?“ She asked.

“Yeah, he went outside last night to check something out” He said, petting the rabbit gently.

“Last night!?“ She exclaimed. “And he isn't back! ?“

“Relax, if something were to happen to him, something would also be wrong with the castle since he made it. As long as he is fine the castle is safe” He faced the rabbit. “Isn't that right my cute little bunny” He said, rubbing his face in the rabbit's fur.

“Okay” She turned around, thinking of how not to make things awkward. “How about I teach you to make an autopilot spell”

“Are you stalling?“ Moses asked in a smile as Agnes shook her head in defense. “You are scared you're gonna lose aren't you”

  “No!“ Agnes fired.

“Okay, we Shall learn the casting of the spells then, my great teacher” Moses said sarcastically while bowing, making Agnes to roll her eyes in a smile.

They went to the gym. A branch delivered a nice small cotton bed. Moses put the rabbit on the bed and it immediately snuggled in. He and Agnes walked to the center of the room.

“So...” Agnes uttered. “...an autopilot spell is a spell that makes your magic to continue to work without you thinking about it or connecting with the supreme”

“I know what it is. My parents wouldn't teach me cuz they think I might use it wrongly, sneak out of school or home, fight, or destroy something accidentally”

“So the goal is to make a non living matter to be the bridge between the supreme and whatever spell you've casted” Agnes lectured. “Like an element, ocean, air, earth, you can't use fire cuz the fire you are using can die”

“Can't I use all the fire in the world?“ Moses asked.

“All the fires aren't connected, but the ocean waters, the atmosphere and the earth are all connected or can't die. If one part is destroyed the other part remains intact”

A branch gave her a bottle of water, she placed it in front of Moses. “Now, make it spin continuously in mid air”

Moses eyes turned silver and the bottle levitated and started spinning.

“You want this to continue after you've disconnected from the crystal. You grab the non living object you want to use, infuse it with same energy you used for the spell and inject it into whatever your spell is acting upon"

“Okay” Moses said, getting himself prepared. “You sounded smart” He said, smiling at Agnes, his smile almost made Agnes intrusive thoughts win. He lifted his hands. A ball of spinning air formed right on top of his hand, making a soft whooshing noise. The same hand turned silver, the silver color leaked out from his hand and entered the little ball of air. He pointed his hands at the spinning bottle, the silver air blew slowly towards the bottle. The air circled round the bottle and joined the rest of the air as it went invisible.

Moses disconnected from the supreme and was surprised that the bottle was still spinning. “Oh my goodness, it worked” His smile widened, he jumped up and down in happiness.

“See, wasn't too hard now was it?“ Agnes said, also smiling, unable to stop herself from staring at Moses's adorable smile.

Moses was too happy, he was too happy to think of anything else. He didn't process or think of what he was about to do. He rushed in and hugged Agnes tight. Agnes was surprised, her blood rushed, her heart pumped faster. She didn't know what to do, she just stood there.

Moses immediately realized what he was doing. He immediately withdrew from the hug, he felt embarrassed, goosebumps grew on his skin. If he had a white skin his entire face would have turned red by now. Things felt really awkward as they stared at eachother in the loudest silence ever.

  “I'm sorry” He said.

“Oh, no it's okay” Agnes said. Their conversation not making the situation any less awkward.

“Yeah, nothing bad in hugging” Moses said in the most possible awkward way” They stared at eachother for a brief moment. The tension between them was very high.

Before anyone knew it, Moses rushed in and gave Agnes a kiss, a lustful, yet gentle kiss. A kiss which Agnes returned. She placed her hands on his shoulders, giving his chest a gentle rub. His hands on her cheeks, he used his thumb to give her cheeks a soft massage. She leaned her head into his arms.

This was strange, Moses has never felt this before, of the two girlfriends he's had in his lifetime, he's never felt what Agnes made him feel. Her lips were soft and smooth. Like a polished surface. The way she rubbed his shoulders and chest, it felt so gentle, like Agnes was scared it would hurt him if she rubbed to hard. For the first time, it felt like a girl was treating him out of love and not of lust.

Finally, they let go of eachother, for how long did they kiss, a minute?, ten minutes?, an hour? They didn't know, and they didn't seem like they want to. They burst into soft chuckles, their smiles already told the other that they enjoyed what just happened. Moses rest his forehead on hers.

  “Soo...“ Moses said.

“Let's not ruin the moment” Agnes said, making Moses chuckled.

Moses was immediately consumed by guilt as he remembered his chat with Dave the other night, about Agnes. He'd said he would let him be with Agnes if he wanted. He stepped back from Agnes.

“Moses?“ Agnes questioned, wondering what could have happened. “Is everything okay?“

“Everything is fine” Moses said. “Let's just slow down”

“Okay” Agnes. “I understand, we don't have to take things fast. Do you need to sit?“

“Yes, yes” Moses said. Branches came out from the ground and formed a seat. Moses sat on it like a tired person.

  “Are you okay?“ Agnes asked.

“I'm fine, just need to process”

Moses wasn't given anytime to process. The castle shook suddenly, as though in the middle of an earthquake. The walls almost shook wildly. Parts of the castle glitched. Moses immediately stood up at alert. Soon, he and Agnes realized what could be wrong.

  “Dave!!!“ They exclaimed.

“We have to find him” Moses said. “He could be in trouble”

They ran to the door of the castle and opened it. Their fear immediately subsided when they saw Dave standing at the front of the door”

“Hey gang” Dave greeted, waving his hands.
