In the middle of the night. Agnes, Moses and Dave in three separate rooms. The three of them sleeping like babies. In a large corridor at the edge of the castle, the animals and branches were busy weaving new clothes and shoes, it was a busy night for them, as they worked hard to make everything perfect.

  Dave turned to the other side on his bed, his face frowned as though he was being disturbed, and he was. He heard a whisper of his name. He woke up, groaning, he checked round his room and saw nothing. He lied back down and the faint whisper of his name kept echoing to him. It annoyed him, he frowned his face, it was like a wet breath into his sensitive ear.

  He finally got up from his bed, he was in his underwear only. He clenched his fist as he forced himself not to get angry and lose control of his powers. He looked outside through the large glass window. That was where the annoying sound seemed to blow from, into his ear. He saw a faint silver glow of light far out into the little gathering of trees at the edge of the plain land, he felt unsafe by it. He wore his trousers and went to Moses's room.

  Moses was deep in his sleep, his mouth open as he snored, almost drooling on his cotton pillow. The knock on the door annoyed him at first but he didn't wake up, the continuous knock finally woke him up, his frown looking like that of someone ready to murder.

  “Who is it” He said, the air in his room blowing almost violently as he said those words.

  “It's Dave stupid” Dave said. Moses fell back in his bed, he waved his hand, causing the door to open, letting Dave in.

  “What is it” Moses groaned.

  “We have a situation” Dave said as he walked to the window in the room. “Come, look at this”

  Moses crawled out of his bed, he was also in just his underwear. “This better make sense” He stood beside Dave, still really sleepy.

  “Look” Dave pointed at the silver light.

  “Is that a...a crystal light?“ Moses asked in confusion, his sleepiness Finally fading away.

  “It's been calling my name” Dave said.

  “What!!!“ Moses exclaimed.

  “I know, it's crazy”

  “Check it out” Moses said.

  “What?“

  “You are literally the most powerful warlock in the world, you can protect yourself from danger, go” Moses said authoritatively, giving Dave a side eye that cringed him out.

  “Okay” Dave said shakily. His eyes (only pupils) turned multicolored. He waved his hand, making the window fade away like a disintegrating substance.

  He walked out, but he didn't fall down from the tower, he levitated, as though he was flying and he began to move towards the light. Moses watched for a minute as Dave flew, but he instantly became sleepy. He walked over to his bed and crashed on it.

  The silver light got clearer and clearer. Dave landed on the ground and walked to see what was making the light. What he saw was nothing he would have expected in a million years, it sent fear down his bones and muscles instantly his eyes and hands instantly glowed for protection.

  It was a man in a ghostly like figure, hovering in mid air, he was wearing a green hoodie, green shoes, black trousers, and had a thin mustache.

  “YOU!!“ Dave said, his brows knitted to a an intimidating frown, his orange glowing fist clenched, ready to launch a punch at any given moment.

  “It's okay, I know I'm the last person you want to see”

  “It's because of you I'm in this position” Dave said in clenched teeth. He was at high alert, ready to destroy the man anytime now.

  “I know” The man said, gesturing at Dave to calm down.“It was wrong of me and I'm sorry”

  “No you are not” Dave said. Suddenly, a blazing laser of golden energy shot out from his eyes. It didn't hit the man, it went right through him, bouncing off the Agnes's shield and fading away into a mist.

  “What the!“ Dave exclaimed.

  “I understand you are upset” The man said.

  “Upset?... upset?“ Dave said almost sarcastically. His voice causing the trees and ground to vibrate along with his vocal cords. “I don't know what's happening to my grandmother right now, and Moses parents. Our social life is completely ruined, do you know what people will start to think of us when we return”

  “Your grandmother is my mother-in-law” The man said, has calm as possible, so as not to create conflict. Dave's hands and eyes almost stopped glowing.

  “Are you foolish” Dave fired, in an utterly disgusted and angry manner. “Do you take me for a stupid person, why would I believe such a lie” Dave said.

  “I'm not lying, you have to believe me. I am your father”

  “Let's just get to the part where we fight and I end your useless life and stuff your body in a dumpster”

  “Your name is Dave isn't it” Dave was taken back. “Your mother's name is Felicia, I am Antonio”

  “That's impossible” Dave said at once. “You probably did research on my family so you could do this”

  “Believe me Dave” Antonio said, a sentimental look on his face. “Moses has been your best friend since kindergarten, there was a time your your adult tooth started growing without your baby tooth being out yet, it happened when you were in primary two”

  “How did you know” Dave said, he was in shock and was starting to get overwhelmed.

  “Your mother always told me about you, that was before she died when you were just ten” Antonio said, coming down from his levitation and standing on the ground. “I was a warlock, but your mother wasn't a witch. Before we gave birth to you, your mom desperately wanted to be a witch. To be magical like me, so we can all be one big happy magical family” He walked closer to Dave. “There was no way to make someone magical. So we started doing research and found out about the golden pendant and maybe if I had enough power, I could make her a witch. But the pendant banished me from Elysia the moment I touched it. It took away my powers, except from my power drive. Space” Dave could notice that the man was holding back his tears. Dave was also trying not to cry. “Your mother was never able to leave Elysia and we never saw each other again, until video calls were invented.

  Dave couldn't believe it, all this while he actually had a father, a father he never knew of. How could this be possible. Dave looked at the man very well and he could see his features in his face. It was true, the man, Antonio, he wasn't lying. A drop of tear escaped from Dave's eyes.

  “How are you in Elysia then?“ Dave asked, almost in a whimper.

  “I'm not actually here, just bending the fabric of space. I made myself translucent because I know you might want to attack me. I thought if I could get the pendant again I could break the curse and we can all be together. But you and Moses hindered my plan”

  “Oh...“Dave exclaimed. “I'm sorry”

  “You don't have to be, now that you have part of the powers in the pendant. You can break it”

  “Really?, how exactly would I do it, I can't just wave my hands?” Dave asked.

  “Use a spell. Like a prayer”

  “Prayer?“ Antonio nodded. Dave stepped back, he closed his eyes as his body turned into an orb of multicolored light. “Dear supreme” He said and a soft wind blew at those words. “A curse has been placed on Antonio...“

  “And his wife...“ Antonio said.

  “And his wife, Felicia. Preventing both of them from seeing eachother” Dave began floating in the air as he said those words. A strong wind blowing around him, moving the trees and leaves. Moses and Agnes who were asleep, didn't notice a thing.

  Antonio's body bagan glowing multicolored, floating with Dave, they began to spin parallel to eachother in a circle. Both their eyes were closed as the divine energy and it's divine sound circled around them. Multiple strands of light came out of Dave, oozing with energy, it spiraled towards Antonio and began to fabricate around him, creating a clearer picture of him. He no longer looked ghost like.

  The wind settled. The both of them sank back to the ground, this time Antonio's body interacted with the ground. “It worked” Antonio said. His face was joyful, tears flowed from both their eyes as they rushed in and hugged. “I missed you so much, even though I never met you” Dave chuckled in-between whimper.

  “I missed you too Dad” He said. “Even though I never met you” They stood in the hug for a moment, not wanting to make things awkward by breaking the hug.

  Antonio was suddenly launched backwards as he shouted in pain.

  “Dad?“ Dave said in shock. There were multiple flares of multicolored light around his body as he crawled and rolled on the floor, shouting in pain. Multiple smoke like explosions of light all around his body.

  “Dad, are you okay?“ Dave asked, extremely horrified by the situation and in panic, not knowing what to do.

  “Felicia wait!!!“ Antonio said as he shouted and screamed, it was as though the gravity around him got stronger and stronger as he sank on the floor.

  “Felicia?“ Dave said in confusion.

  There was a massive explosion around Antonio, covering him completely in silver smoke.

  “ANTONIO” Dave shouted.

  There was silence, Dave could see the outline of someone in the smoke.

  “Oh...you are okay” He said in a smile that quickly faded away when multiple strands of multicolored ropes erupted wildly, followed by divine sounds and grabbed his legs and hands lifting him up into the air painfully, he wanted to do something but he couldn't, he couldn't move, he couldn't make any of his body part glow, he couldn't do magic.

  He could only control his mouth.

  “Antonio what are you doing” He said angrily but couldn't make a frown.

  The person in the smoke walked out. It was a woman, she was in her late forties but looked like someone in her early twenties. She had long black straight hair. She was beautiful, she had a light skin and a smooth acne free face. “Surprised to see me” She said like an evil queen from a movie, her steps taken with care and precision.

  “MOM!!!“ Dave exclaimed. “Where's dad?“

  “Oh, that bastard was being too sentimental”

  “But...“ Dave said, but was cut off.

  “You are wasting my time, I want to see your life” She said, the strands holding Dave was from her nails she dragged him closer to her. She began turning into a multicolored liquid and drained into the strands holding Dave. The strands pierced his skin, he shouted in pain. She began to enter him through the strands.

  “What are you doing” Dave exclaimed.

  “Possessing you” She said before totally turning into liquid and entering him.

  The castle glitched wildly and almost disappeared as Dave was in danger, in fear and in excruciating pain. But Agnes and Moses who were so deeply asleep in their amazing beds didn't notice or feel a thing and didn't wake up.
