Angrily, he slammed the door on Shadow, and strode towards the others. He turned to Rose and Zack, who both were staring at him with blank expressions.

  Max shook his head. "Alright, so we go from here......and apparently Shadow doesn't want to participate...so we'll find another way to distract." He then turned to Rose. "How bout you create a distraction with your light energy, and Zack and Twitch will be here to watch your back if needed." Slowly, the redhead nodded. Zack even nodded in acceptance. Max continued. "So, you guys must start tonight, after Rose drops me and Hunter off at our base. Then we'll go from there."

  Zack looked at Max, and at the door that has Shadow on the other side. "What about him?"

  Max sighed and rolled his eyes. "Guess he'll be staying home." He grumbled.

  Zack shook his head. The blond boy got up and walked through the door Max had just come from to find a surprise on his face. "He's gone!" He exclaimed.

  "That's fine, leave him be!" Max ordered. Zack slowly made his way back to the circle and looked at him. "Do the others already know about the plan?"

  Max nodded.

  Zack nodded as well, and turned back to the door. "What will we be doing in the meantime?"

  Max but his lip and looked at Rose. "Are you willing to take all of us back? That way, later at night, you can only take Zack and Twitch?" Rose nodded.

  "Alright. We'll go home and rest for a while, then when it comes to midnight, we'll be ready."
