Hunter sighed irritably and gave Beast a stern look. "Speak then -"

  "No, we wait until we return!" Shadow ordered. "THEN we'll speak whatever we wish!"

  Hunter grumbled. "Very well then, come Beast."

  The boy gave him a confused look. "Um, okay...there are others?"

  Shadow turned to him. "Of course there are! You three seemed to abandon your base, it was the only place for us!" He shouted defensively.

  Back at the base, Beast discussed with the group his given order.

  "Azazel sent me directly to you, Max. That if you have Hunter and Twitch in your possession, then they must return or else he'll come after all of you!"

  Max lowered his head. "Son of a bitch." He mumbled.

  Hunter folded his arms. "And we're NOT going back!"

  Beast turned to Hunter, then said, "He also mentioned that if you don't comply, then he'll slaughter the rest of us!"

  Hunter snarled. "That wretched bastard!"

  Shadow, still in his black wolf form, directly looked at Max with determination. "Remember what we discussed, Max?"

  Max looked into his serious eyes, and nodded his head. "Yeah, I remember..." He then turns to the rest of them. "Shadow and Rose will go summon the Winged spirits with Twitch and Hunter....Beast, you stay with me and Zack. The three of us will hatch a plan to rescue the others. Agreed?"

  Rose turned to him with uncertainty, even Shadow did as well, but if Max is leading the pack now, he's GOT to trust he will do it the right way.
