Shadow looked at the both of them sternly. "Now, you'll have to hold on to me when I do this." The boys did as they were told and gripped into his shoulders as he focused his destination.

  Max stirred awake as he felt something in the atmosphere of their home. He got up to go outside to investigate. Rose and Zack woke up as well, feeling the same way he did and went outside with him.

  Once outside, they looked around to see what the commotion was, but they were shocked by who was in front of them.

  Max stared with wide eyes at the figure, his breathing stopped, and his heart pounded.

  "Holy shit." Zack mumbled.

  Beast had his mouth covered by a thin, bony hand. The boy appeared to be terrified, and Max knew why.

  Directly behind him, stood Azazel. The creature smiled at him wickedly.

  Max gulped and tried to reason with him. "M- Matthew.....don't...."

  But his friend didn't listen to him, he didn't even reply. He only looked at the terrified boy in his grasp and suddenly, twisted Beast's neck sideways, making a sickening snap, and the boy collapsed.

  Rose cried at the murder that just happened. Max stood horrified by the action. He couldn't think.. he couldn't breathe...and neither could Zack.

  Azazel cackled loudly and suddenly, something emerged from his body. Large, black wings unfurled from his back and he shot into the sky.

  Rose immediately ran to the boy, and along did Zack, but Max stood frozen to the spot.

  The world around him grew blank. He couldn't think. He didn't even know how to feel. It felt like he was paralyzed.

  Rose looked up to him. "My brother can help!"

  Max then remembered that before he went outside, he couldn't even see a glimpse of Shadow.....or the other two.

  "Rose...I think he's gone."

  Rose tilted her head in confusion and anxiety. "GONE? GONE WHERE?"

  Max looked at the entrance. "Twitch and Hunter aren't here either."

  Rose then clenched her fists. "That STUPID boy! Where did they go?" Then it was like she remembered. "Oh my God. He took them to the castle! He's agreed to help them! FUCK!"

  Max shook his head in disbelief. Is this why Azazel came here?
