United Earth Congress Building

0720 Hours
The Building of the United Earth Congress is old as it was built in 2030, after Earth was unified into one single Federation Nation. The Building is white with architectural design of the United States Congress, symbolising the Founding Nation of the United Earth Federation, The United States of America. Maintenance on the left side of the Congress building was being made as it was getting older. Plans were made on constructing a new congress building in New York, incorporating modern design but due to how much history the current building contained, it was hard until the Congress decided to build a new building with these modern designs that had been proposed.
United State of America’s Senators Office
All rooms for senators inside the Congress building are all the same size, designed to accommodate each states’ 2 Senators except The Room for the United States of America’s Senators Room being the biggest among all.
One of the Senators was seen talking to his phone on the couch while other senators were staring at him, waiting eagerly for the call to end. Both of them looked not that old and were in their early 40’s, wearing black suits with one of them wearing a Blue Tie and a glasses while another Senator wearing a black tie and didn’t wear any glasses
“Oh, Thank.” said the Senator who was on the call with someone in the Armed Force before he finished the call and adjusting his glasses.
“What’s the decision?” asked another Senator whose name is Dane Freelance.
“Well, We will have possibly 25 more states or more to the Federation’s sovereign states if we persuade them enough.” answered the Senator who was on the call earlier. His name is Senator Erick Rarry. “These states don’t have neither militaries to protect themselves nor a stable economy so letting them join the Federation will be their best choice.”
“Are we going to invite them?” asked Senator Freelance after he shoved his phone into his right pocket.
“We will go to invite them ourselves and we’ll see if you accept to join the Federation or not.” said Senator Rarry after he drank a cup of water from the table in front of them.
“This invitation will be hard to not accept,” said Senator Freelance.
“Yes. Joining the Federation will be their only chance after they are no longer under the Republic’s Control.” Senator Rarry continued “10 More Star Systems.”
“I heard that the Council will pick the Poleration Republic as their next member.” said Senator Freelance
“I don’t know why picking Poleration Republic as the next member to the council will benefit the Federation or not but I heard that, among all of the nations broken from the Republic after the successful operation and becoming our colonies, Poleration Republic is the most advanced among all of them, having 2030s technologies if we compare them to our history.” replied Senator Rarry.
“I don’t really know but yeah, having a new state to the Federation as the new member of the Council is going to be great for the newcomer states because well, you know how space politics work, they will think that we don’t operate the entire nations center around Earth.” said Senator Freelance “At least, a pick state from Super Earth like Foresta or something.”
“Well, we expanded a lot so why not pick one from a planet far away from Earth, Beside, Platon is an Earth like planet” said Senator Rarry before he stood up from the couch.
“It has been barely 100 years since we colonised Alpha Centauri and now we have expanded to more than 10 Star Systems. I agree with your statement but we’ll see if Poleration Republic will join us or not” said Senator Freelance before he got a notification from his phone and checked it. “Hmm, Olympus Mons is coming to pick us. Let’s go to the base.”
Both of them got up from the couch and walked toward the door, exiting the room. They walked for a while, navigating through corridors and passing a lot of Senators as they were chatting about the current situation of the Federation. They eventually made it to the main hall of the building and two other senators from another state were waiting for them in the lounge area.
“Senator Xi FeiLing and Senator HuangWei, waiting for us for a while.” said Senator Rarry as he was approaching one of the Senators from the Republic of China, Senator HuangWei, a chinese Senator who was already in his late 40’s but still look young despite having some white hairs. “Sorry for keeping you waiting.”
“Oh, We’ve been waiting for the two of you for not a long time, only a couple minutes.” said Senator Huang Wei as he tapped Senator Rarry’s right shoulder with his right hand. “We might not want to waste the time so, let’s go.”
All four of them made their way out of the main entrance of the United Earth Congress building and there were two convoys, escorting two states’ senators. All of them got into their own convoy and the convoy started moving to the West Virginia Air Base which is pretty far from the UEC Building.
As they were travelling, Senator Rarry looked outside the window, seeing the busy streets with cars and trucks and a lot of historical buildings. Before he could enjoy this scenery any further, Senator Freelance suddenly called him.
“Hey, it looks like important news was just made public.” said Senator Freelance as he was looking at the table on his laps.
“What is it?” asked Senator Rarry as he pulled his attention away from the window
“The United Nation Council of Constitution just renamed itself to the Supreme Council,” said Freelance.
“Supreme Council, well, All I can, the name fits their power.” Senator Rarry continued “The council holds the most power, they can do anything they want, they can even dissolve the Congress if they want.”
West Virginia Air Base
West Virginia
0830 Hours
The Base was huge and it earned the title of being the biggest military base on Earth, being nearly 900 square kilometres big but most of the base was being used as starships’ landing zone. An Olympus Mons Class SuperCarrier was seen stationed there, waiting for all 2 American Senators and the 2 Chinese Senators to come on board. A convoy of black SUV’s was escorting all 4 Senators into the base all the way from the United Earth Congress building. After the convoy stopped, all 4 of them got out of their cars and walked to Olympus Mons.
An Admiral was waiting near the huge hangar door on the portside of the carrier.
“Admiral Adrian Georgia, nice to meet you.” said SenatorFreelance after he finally saw which admiral was waiting for all 2 of them.
“Why do you even need a supercarrier just to take us to those states?” ask Senator Rarry after he gave Admiral Georgia a handshake.
“You’re all the senators of the United States of America and the Republic of China, both are important States in the Entire Federation, of course you’re all important enough to be escorted in a huge fleet.” said Admiral Georgia. “Let’s get on the carrier and discuss everything on the bridge.”
All of them got on the carrier before the hangar door closed and the carrier made its way into space.

UESF Olympus Mons SWAC/EX-01-09’s Bridge
The Bridge of the Olympus Mons is huge with personnel everywhere, doing their assigned jobs. Admiral Georgia sat at the Captain Seat and looked outside through the bridge’s huge Windows.
All 4 Senators sat seats prepared for them near the Captain Seat. As they sat, they were given bottles of water for the journey as it would take a long time to reach those states.
“What will be the first state you’re going to visit?” asked Admiral Georgia as he looked at Senator Rarry.
“Do you think it’s a good idea to visit Polaration Republic first?” Senator Rarry asked Senator Huang Wei.
“I think, yeah, why not.” replied Huang Wei after he thought for a brief moment
“Alright, Set Course for the Polaration Republic, 200 Light years,” said Admiral Georgia.
“Course for Polaration Republic has been put, ready to jump” said the Navigation Officer to Admiral Georgia after a brief moment of him putting course for the state.
“This Olympus Mons is equipped with the new Nexus Engine with better integration with the Quantum Subspace Drive.” said Admiral Georgia to all of the Senators
“What does that mean?” said Senator Freelance.
“Since it has better integration, instant acceleration after entering Subspace,” said Admiral Georgia. “JUMP!”
United Earth Federation Occupied Military Base on Planet Platon, Gierce Star System
20 Hours after the operation finally finished
0800 Hours
Control Centre
Some of the Higher Ups in the United Earth Armed Forces were there, inspecting the control room. Admiral Bush was among them and being the Chief of Space Operation with the most power in the United Earth Space Force and he and other chief of space operations were responsible for the operation but as for now, he needed to assign someone to be the person in charge of the Base’s operation.
‘Maybe we need a space elevator’ he said to himself as he stood in the Control Room with another Admiral under his command ‘Or maybe a space station with the configuration of Super Earth’s but for now, I need to assign someone to control this base.’
“Sir, have you decided which Admiral to control the base?” asked his subordinate as he was holding a tablet but this subordinate was not Sam.
“Give me a moment, I need to think.” he replied back “I might need another day to think.”
“Admiral Bush, here’s the Casualties Number, it’s High.” said General Johnanthan as he was approaching Admiral Bush and handed Admiral Bush a paper containing the Casualty Number from both sides.
“They lost a total of one hundred thousand troops while we lost nearly fifty thousand soldiers.” said Admiral Bush as he looked at the report with grief “This operation is worth it as it will benefit everyone including the possible new states.”
“What will we do to the families of the downed soldiers’?” asked General Johnathan.
“I think that it’s best to Notify them of their loss and make sure to give them the medal of honor for their children’s service to the Federation. These Medals will help them a lot for the rest of their life.” said Admiral Bush as he closed his eyes and gave the report back to General Johnathan.
“Sir, The 4 Senators are about to arrive in ten minutes, we have prepared a transport for sir and the Senators,” said his subordinate.
“Good.” said Admiral Bush before he turned around and walked out of the control room.
As he walked out of the room, his subordinate followed him until they went outside the building. Admiral Bush looked around and noticed a lot of UEAF (United Earth Armed Force) Personnel transporting equipment such as Radar Systems, Air Defence Systems but as he saw a truck, an idea struck his head.
“Hey, transport a QAF-33 to Mars for study,” said Admiral Bush.
“Hmm, I seem to have known the reason, Admiral” said the Subordinate “Is it that the Space Fighter is so good that it can take down our SF-35 which made you want it to be studied for weakness?”
“You’re good at guessing.” said Admiral Bush as he smiled a bit
“Sir, We found something in a hanger at Section 6 of the base.” a sound rumbled in the earbud on Admiral Bush’s right ear.
“What did you find!?” asked Admiral Bush with a surprising look.
“A fighter but it seemed to have a FTL Drive.” replied the personnel.
“Holy shit! don’t tell me it’s a Starfighter!?” said Admiral Bush in horror “They have been going easy with us! They could have protected this base but they decided to lower their hand!” said Admiral Bush before a realization flashed through his mind “This is the reason why there’s not a single person in the control room.”
“Sir! Sir!” shouted his subordinate.
“Oh, Sorry, What is it?” reply Admiral Bush after he regained his senses of the surroundings.
“The Senators are about to arrive, they are entering the atmosphere.” said the Subordinate before he looked up, seeing the starship entering the atmosphere while its hull started experiencing atmospheric drag.
“10 minutes have passed without me realizing it,” said Admiral Bush as he closed his eyes and looked down for a moment before looking up.
4 Minutes Later
The Base’s Section 9
Starships landing zone
The Olympus Mons successfully landed at the base and landed on the Starship Landing Zone in Section 9 of the Base. The Starship’s left hanger door opened and all 4 Senators walked out of the hanger bay, looking outside as they noticed Admiral Bush was waiting for them.
“Hmm, Admiral Bush” said Senator Freelance to himself as he looked Admiral Bush straight in the eyes while walking down from the hangar bay with the other 3 Senators.
“Welcome to our new Star system!” said Admiral Bush as he was approaching the Senators and Admiral Georgia.
“Do we have a name for this star system?” asked Senator Rarry while he was shaking hands with Admiral Bush, looking him straight in the eye.
“According to Base’s database, the system is called Gierce.” replied Admiral Bush after both of them finished shaking hands “This star system’s name is given by its people, not the Republic.”
“Okay, sounds not that bad.” Senator Rarry continued “Anyway, where’s the transport that will take us to this new independent state called Poleration Republic?”
“Look behind me.” said Admiral Bush while he smirked a bit
“VTOL Capable SC-5 Titan, I see.” said Senator Freelance as he saw the aircraft not far away with its engines facing the thrust down.
“Have you notified them about our visit?” asked Senator Rarry loudly as the SC-5’s Engines started running, producing a lot of sounds.
“We’ve already done it!.” replied Admiral Bush loudly. “They are expecting us to be there in 5 Hours. They want to discuss with us about the Joining Federation as the 101st State!”
“Good! Happy to hear that!” replied Senators loudly “Let’s go! We don’t have much time!”
They all walked to the Cargo plane designed to fly in both the atmosphere and in deep space. They sat down at the seats prepared for them.
“Not very Cosy, isn’t it?” asked Admiral Bush to the 4 Senators
“I won’t say that.” replied Senator Huang Wei “it’s a Military Cargo plane after all.”
“Yeah, I agree,” said Senator Rarry.
“Everyone in the cargo hold, please fasten your seatbelt.” said one of the pilots of the plane “We are ready to take off.”
The plane started lifting itself using its Engine and after a bit of ascending, it disabled its VTOL mode and started flying to the city.
4 Hours Later
Polerious City
City Hall
1700 Hours
It was evening and the sky was a bit dim. At the back of the city hall, there was a huge flat concrete area for spacecraft to land. Mayor Berenet and 10 other officials, all dressed in Black suits, were there, waiting for the Senators and Admiral Bush to arrive so that they could have an important meeting that might change the state’s future.
“Oh Looks like they are coming.” said Mayor Berenet as he noticed the plane not far away coming. “It’s already evening.”
They all waited for a bit until the plane landed in an area not far away from them. The plane’s door on the side opened and the Senators and Admiral Bush exited the plane as Mayor Berenet and the other Officials were walking to greet them.
“Hello.” said Senator Rarry as he was approached by Mayor Berenet and was given a hand shake “You’re Borus Berenet? Nice to meet you”
“Yes, I am Borus Berenet, Mayor of Polerious City.” replied Mayor Berenet after they finished exchanging handshakes. “And you?”
“I am Senator Erick Rarry” answered Senator Rarry. “I am one of the two Senator for the United States of America in the United Earth Congress”
“Shall we talk in the city hall?” asked Mayor Berenet.
Meeting Room
Everyone entered the room and sat in the prepared seat. Admiral Bush looked around, admiring the wood decoration inside the room.
“So, you are here to discuss your nation and you want us to join your country.” said Mayor Berenet “What are your intentions?”
“We, the United Earth Federation, successfully seized control of this star system and since the military base on this planet monitored ten star systems, it means that we have successfully seized ten star systems out of Oriented Republic control.” answered Admiral Bush “Senator Rarry will continue”
“As you can see, since we now control these systems, you are under us so it means that you're our colony. We don’t want to recognise you as an independent nation because we see you as a nation without proper economies or military to defend yourself” Senator Rarry continued after he gave Mayor Berenet a piece of paper, containing the information about everything they would receive if they joined the Federation. “We want you to become our 101st state and you will benefit everything that the United Earth Federation currently has.”
“What does that supposed to mean?” asked Mayor Berenet.
“If you agree, we will have military assets here, protecting the system from possible threats. You will also benefit from our technologies considering you’re still in the 2030s for us.” Senator Rarry continued "Your people will receive a UEF citizenship and will have access to our education system, healthcare system and more importantly, joining our Armed Forces as active personnel or reserve personnel.”
“What if we don't accept your invitation to join your country?” Asked Mayor Berenet
“To protect our name from being aggressive and authoritarian nation, we’ll give this star system its independent but, any incoming invasions, you will have to protect yourself using your own technologies” answered Senator Rarry “And we will do like what the United Britannian Kingdom did to us, we will accept your students to study at our universities like Havard, Stanford or MIT but, you’ll have to develop your own technologies”
“Why did you give us option two?” asked Mayor Berenet “Why can’t you like, Attack us if we refuse?”
“You know, back in 2031, when the United Britannian Kingdom first made contact with us, they gave us two options.” answered Senator Rarry immediately with hesitation. “They already warned us about the Aggressive expansion of the Oriented Republic and they saw that we wouldn’t be able to protect ourselves with the technologies we had.”
“A Congress voting was held on the 21st of December, 2031 and the result was that we would go with Option two. We refused to join their kingdom because we don’t want to lose our autonomy.” Senator Freelance continued from Senator Rarry “So, in 2032, we sent our best students from all around the world and sent them to the United Britannian Kingdom’s Best University, University of Yorkshire.”
“Since this decision is very huge, I’ll let the people vote.” said Mayor Berenet after a moment of thinking “We’ll organise a voting to decide whether to join your Federation or Not.”
“It’s ok” said Senator Rarry “Take your time”.
