TBE Chapter 41

  TBE Chapter 41

Ezekiel arranged the hooks in the wall where the work table was pced so he could easily take the tools from where they were hung. He pced the first box that he purchased from the system shopping site that he used as a model to copy on the dispy shelf that he pced on the table that was pced in the window. He then pced the wood that he had gathered and pced it on the shelves that he pced on the other walls.

All in all, the two tables, the work chair, the dispy shelves, the storage shelves, and the huge storage box that he pced behind the store cost him around 30 silver coins. He then spent another 10 silver coins to purchase different wood art like a set of ptes regur size and small ones and they were pced on pte holders, all of them are made of wood of course.

He also purchased a set of wooden gsses and cups, utensils like spoons, forks, stirrers, and other kitchen utensils, all made of wood. Some breadboards, small bookshelves, tiny chairs, wine bottle holders, a set of toys basically anything made of wood that looked easy enough for a wood crafter to make but would still need some sort of mastery to build.

Ezekiel pced the items that he purchased onto the dispy shelves until his store looked like a real store.

When he cast the Galder’s Tower spell for the workshop and store in one, he specifically chose not to include a window gss since from his knowledge of medieval settings from the novels that he had read, gss was astonishingly expensive. Ezekiel didn’t know the situation in this world but he wanted to err on the side of caution.

After setting up everything, Ezekiel started smoothing out the wood on the shelves by using the hand saw, the hand pner, and sandpaper. He was still using his Mage Hand spell and not utilizing his pn to use the Tiny Servant spell. He wanted to have a modicum of expertise when it came to wood crafting before he used external assistance. The Mage Hand didn’t count since it’s a spell dependent on his actual skill with his hands. If he didn’t know how to do something personally using his hands, the Mage Hand spell wouldn’t be able to do it as well.

At least, that was what the description said. Just to make sure that it was true, after Ezekiel finished creating a smooth pnk using his tool and the Mage Hand spell, he created another smooth pnk but this time, he used his hands instead.

The mastery was the same. What he could do with the Mage Hand spell, he could do the same using his hands. The main difference was it was easier with the spell. He could control the movement better and didn’t suffer muscle cramps or even experience muscle tiredness.

Casting the Mage Hand spell though one after another did tire his mind but Ezekiel felt that his mind could handle the job easier compared to his body handling the same job.

After a couple of hours of work, Ezekiel was proud to see that his collection of smooth wooden pnks had grown. He could now use the pnks to create small wooden art pieces. He still pnned to make some more boxes because creating those would allow him to familiarize himself with working with wood and hand tools. Ezekiel pnned to make several more boxes, then he would move on to small wooden benches then wooden chairs and wooden tables.

Since he didn’t have a master, the only thing he could do was copy the things that he purchased from his system shopping site. He liked the small stool and would probably copy it next since based on studying the furniture in detail, it looked easy enough to copy. It was still important though to practice so he would still create more boxes since that was the only way to make sure that he was proficient enough in using the Mage Hand spell in his wood crating hobby.

When Ezekiel was done for the day, he cleaned up the pce using his Prestidigitation spell. He studied his store from the inside as well as the outside and everything looked great. The pce looked like a legitimate store.

He closed the store and then cast Arcane Lock on the door and window as well as the rge chest at the back. From then on, Ezekiel and his two brothers would be the only ones who could open them.

The sun was setting when Ezekiel returned home. He saw that Robert and Luke were already in the dining room house. They were pying with their toys. He told them to clean up their toys and put them in the bedroom so they could eat dinner.

During dinner, Ezekiel told his brothers that he would spend the next day preparing food for their lunch break while they were in school so that meant that the two of them would need to spend the day by themselves.

“You’ll be here anyway cooking so it’s not a problem,” Robert said.

After that statement, he cleaned his brothers and their clothes using the Prestidigitation spell. Then Ezekiel cast the Arm spell and the Mage Armor spell on the three of them. He then told Robert and Luke that he prepared something special for them that night and his brother looked at him excitedly.

Ezekiel dragged the bedroom table near them then he retrieved the two wooden blocks that he carved earlier. The blocks consisted of one square block of wood on top of a bigger block of wood then he carved eyes and mouth on the head. He made sure that the eyes and mouths looked angry.

Based on the description of the Tiny Servan spell, the items that he would cast his spell into would sprout arms and legs so he didn’t need to add those to the blocks of wood which basically looked like just a head and torso.

Ezekiel then put the two blocks on the table while Robert and Luke looked on curiously. He cast the Tiny Servant spell on one of the blocks and after four minutes he cast the spell again onto the other one.

The two blocks of wood sprouted and feet and started moving like small creatures made of wood. He then commanded the two Tiny Servants to dance and they tried to so awkwardly which made them a lot funnier.

Robert and Luke cpped their hands and ughed happily while looking at the dancing wooden men who looked angry. After several minutes, Ezekiel commanded the tiny wooden men to stop dancing and commanded them to push each other from the table. He said to his brothers that the winner would be the one who remained at the table.

The wooden blocks tiny servants tried their best to push each other from the table and now the angry expressions on their faces looked appropriate. Robert and Luke cheered them on and everyone enjoyed watching the wooden men fight.

Ezekiel observed the tiny servants and since they were equal in size and strength, after several minutes, no one won.

“Big brother, can I have one of them?” Luke suddenly asked Ezekiel.

“Sure but they would only st for eight hours. That meant tomorrow they would revert to becoming ordinary blocks of wood but you don’t need to worry. If I cast the spell again, they would revive once more,” Ezekiel told his youngest brother.

He then commanded the tiny servants to go to Robert and Luke and the wooden block tiny servant jumped and went to Ezekiel’s brothers. He then commanded the tiny servant to follow his brothers’ commands but he reminded the two that the tiny servants could only follow the simplest command.

Robert immediately commanded his new toy to dance and Luke copied his older brother. Both kids watched the tiny servants dance and after several minutes Robert and Luke were asleep. Ezekiel was amused to see that the wooden block tiny servants just kept on dancing and soon he fell asleep as well while watching the wooden men dance.

The next day, Ezekiel was woken up by an anxious Luke.

“What happened?” He sleepily asked Luke.

“The wooden men are dead,” Luke said still looking anxious.

That woke up Robert as well and the first thing he did was check on his wooden block and become anxious as well when he saw that it wasn’t moving.

“Didn’t I tell you both that the enchantment would only st for eight hours? Don’t worry I’ll cast the spell again.”

Ezekiel then cast the spell Tiny Servant on both wooden blocks and soon the wooden blocks sprouted arms and legs which made the two boys happy. He commanded the tiny servants to follow his brothers’ command and both boys ran outside to py with their new toy.

He was amused to see that both boys were teaching the wooden blocks different moves and soon they began exploring the limits of what the tiny servants could do. Ezekiel was impressed with the spell but he was impressed at his brothers more since they were truly intelligent. Trying to find the limit of what they could command the tiny servant could do was like basic programming and both boys were learning extremely fast.
