TBE Chapter 68
It was a little late and far enough away from the last village when Ezekiel decided to find a campsite where he could cast his Galder’s Towers. At least he still had the oil lantern and that helped them light the way.
Ezekiel kept the items that did not conform to the technology of this world in his 4th tab space but to be honest, there were just a few of those like his flashlight and a couple of camping stoves powered by gas canisters. All of the others like their pots, pans, plates, kitchen utensils, camping tents, clothes, blankets, and some other things were stored in boxes that were placed in the cart.
He was a bit worried that Prince Charming would have a hard time pulling their cart because of the burden but then when he tested it himself, Ezekiel easily pulled the cart himself so more than likely, Prince Charming still found the cart and the three of them light enough to pull.
Ezekiel then thought of purchasing another donkey so Prince Charming would have a companion that would help him pull the cart and if he encountered a for sale one in one of the villages that they would pass through, he would purchase it.
Even though their cart was nice enough, he might have to change it soon with something that had a cover or a roof so they could still travel even if it was raining.
They settled inside the forest but not too deep and when the Galder’s Tower houses were erected, Robert and Luke ran off to the bedroom. Ezekiel went to the stable and brushed Prince Charming’s coat then he fed and watered the donkey. He also made sure that everything was clean which was easy enough using his Prestidigitation spell.
After that, he cast all the defensive and warning spells that he would usually cast during the evenings then joined his brothers in the bedroom but when he entered it, he heard that they were in the washroom already so he took a bath as well. Then they ate their dinner and settled on the bed. Since the three of them had a very busy day and were exhausted, soon, they were all asleep.
The next day, the boys were the first ones who wake up and they immediately jumped on Ezekiel waking him up abruptly.
“Kel! Kel! We want a boat that will float on water and sailors! Our friends told us a story about the sea and they said that there were adventurers that traveled the sea and their job was to find treasures. They’re called pirates!” Robert shouted.
“Kel! Kel! We want pirates!” Luke shouted as well.
At first, Ezekiel wanted to correct his brothers that pirates were bandits in the sea but he didn’t want to dampen their enthusiasm so he just said that he’d try to find a ship toy with pirates after breakfast.
After they ate their breakfast and their vitamins, Ezekiel briefly went to Prince Charming’s stable to feed it then he returned to the bedroom and opened his system shopping site while Robert and Luke watched him excitedly.
“Do you even know what seas are?” Ezekiel asked them.
“Roro said that it’s a river that’s a hundred times as big with rolling waves as big as houses!” Robert said while Luke danced around shouting “Sea! Sea!”. Ezekiel assumed that Roro was the villager child who told his brothers about pirates and wondered how that kid learned of sea bandits.
Ezekiel found a toy ship modeled after the anime One Piece and there were actually action figures of the characters on the ship. He had to make sure that it would float on water since that was one of Robert’s requirements.
The listing said that the toy would float on water but it was a bit costly at 5 silver coins.

“I found a very good one but it cost 5 silver coins which was 2 silver coins more than your budget left,” Robert and Luke suddenly looked sad so he added some more sentences with conditions.
“I can purchase it for you but it’ll be a long time before I can purchase any more toys for a while, is that okay?” He asked the boys and they nodded rapidly.
Ezekiel purchased the toy and was surprised when he retrieved it from the system. It was 24 inches long. He didn’t expect the toy to be so large and when Robert and Luke saw it, their eyes went wide.
They spent the rest of the morning with Ezekiel explaining who the action figures were. They were surprised to learn that the goofy-looking character wearing a straw hat was the captain of the ship, which he explained to them as the leader of the pirates. Then he told Robert and Luke Luffy’s back story as well as the back story of Luffy’s companions which he was reading on the internet. Then he told him the backstory of their ship which was named Merry.
The boys were having so much fun listening to Ezekiel's stories about the pirates which came from the manga that he was reading online. He included the action sequences by acting them out while the boys listened closely while holding onto the action figures.
At around noon, he had to stop since they had to eat lunch, and to be honest, Ezekiel’s throat was getting tired from speaking for so long. He then thought of purchasing the manga so his brothers could read them but then anything that he purchased from his system shopping site would have the Earth’s language on them.
At first, Ezekiel thought of purchasing a generator and a television set with a CD player so he could let his brothers watch animated films from Disney or animes but the problem was, that it would all be on Earth’s language and his brothers wouldn’t be able to understand them.
He thought of the fact that he had read some web novels about MC systems translating everything to the new world’s language but unfortunately, the only thing that his system did was allow him to understand the language of the villagers. Ezekiel thought that should be the dead boy’s memories integrating into his own.
Ezekiel wasn’t complaining since his system already provided him with very powerful perks. He thought about teaching his brothers English so the three of them could enjoy Earth’s media content but since his brothers were not able to read and write well yet on this country’s language, he decided that he would teach them the local language first.
After lunch, the boys decided to spend the rest of the day playing with the toy Merry in the washtub upstairs so Ezekiel had to resign himself from spending the whole day on that campground.
Ezekiel spent time refreshing his inventory of the wooden arts and crafts so he spent 10 silver coins from business funds on that. He now had 20 silver coins of items for sale again but his remaining total business funds which he separated from the general coins was 3 gold coins and 50 silver coins. His general fund was 11 gold 1 silver and 7 copper coins.
He also made sure that the items he purchased were different from the ones he already sold since the selection on his system shopping site was wide enough and his customers could boast that the items that they purchased were one of a kind. As a matter of fact, that was one of the slogans that he was using while he was selling his items.
After that, he spent the rest of the day crafting more boxes since they could use more but before he could start, Yuki Onna warned him that three people were approaching. At first, Ezekiel thought that they might be bandits but then his Familiar said that it was a man, a woman, and a girl who was bigger than him but not yet an adult.
Ezekiel immediately used Yuki’s eyes and saw that the three people looked like hunters because they were sporting bows and arrows and were carrying some game animals. The not-yet-adult girl that Yuki was telling him about was a teenager around sixteen or seventeen years old and was also sporting a bow and was carrying small game animals.
He immediately dispelled the Alarm Spell, the Glyph of Warding Spell, and the Sleep Spell attached to it but let the Arcane Lock spell remain on the houses’ doors.
Through Yuki Onna’s eyes, Ezekiel saw that the hunter family looked very surprised when they noticed the three small sturdy houses in the forest and he even heard the woman saying to the man that there were lights on the windows of the houses.
He also heard the teenager say that the houses looked lively. The man commanded the woman and probably his daughter to remain at their distance and the man approached the middle house which was the kitchen where Ezekiel was currently at.
The man knocked on his door but unfortunately, it was the bedroom door that opened and Robert and Luke ran outside and greeted the man so Ezekiel opened his door immediately and looked at his brothers exasperatedly.
“Robert! Luke! What if the man was a bandit?!” Ezekiel shouted at his brothers.
When the man heard what Ezekiel had said, he laughed heartily and gestured to the two women. The man probably thought that it was safe since Ezekiel and his two brothers were just children.
