How should I describe Avalon? It's certainly beautiful. An endless field of flowers of different colors, an isnd so big it might be the size of Britain itself, the water surrounding this pce is as mystical as it looks, rippling even without any motion.
From afar, I could see beasts, monsters of epic proportion roaming around. They know I am here, yet they are not doing anything.
But really, even for someone who likes brutalism, this pce is breathtaking.
"Avalon, I am here to kill you.", I stated pinly.
"What about our deal?", a bird nded on my shoulder. Then more came.
"Charlotte."
"Tell us."
"Are you?"
"Deal."
"Broken."
"Why?"
"Why?"
I smile, "Because you are pnning something. To attack and sughter yourself on a massive scale, not to mention directly attacking humans in their own cities."
"There is no way I could just stand by and watch.", electricity covered my body, shocking all the birds near me.
I calmly walk forward.
"Charlotte."
The animals followed me.
"Charlotte."
"The Pale Court."
"Proposed."
"Kill all."
"Eldritch Gods."
"End them."
"End the game."
"Stop."
"Cycle."
Hearing their words, I stopped.
Huh...
That expins a lot. The frequent attacks on seemingly random locations...
"Utopia, check the Eldritch signature records and compare them to the locations Avalon attacked.", I asked as I took out my phone.
Utopia dispys a map of the world, pinpointing the locations of Eldritch Gods... holy shit, I never look at this before... what the fuck?
Over six hundred Eldritch Gods? What?!
Why are these guys just chilling on Earth?!
In the UK alone there are twenty-eight?!?! Where the fuck are these things hiding?!
"Hah...", I closed my eyes for a moment, taking it all in.
I flip over to the locations Avalon attacked... it was almost a perfect match.
I had to sit down for this.
"Do you have any other information I need to keep an eye on?", I asked the animals around me.
"Yes."
"Monster."
"Monster."
"Strong"
"Fast."
"Unknown."
"Killed."
"Soul."
"Permanently."
That's bad news...
"Something fast, strong, has cognitive disruption, and can touch the Soul...", I opened up the Book of Akasha.
This is something I hoped I wouldn't use.
"Keyword: Total Annihition—"
Marmyadose hummed, stopping me.
What do you want?
Oh... I see, you are this strong?
"With two Constructs of the World in my hands, I might be able to deal with this thing...", but just in case...
I flip through the pages, looking at the summary of the items... there are over ten trillion things. Seriously.
"Additional Keywords: Astrology, God Syer."
The book closed for a brief moment before flipping open once again. Still too many.
"Addition Keywords: Anti-World, Small AoE."
Hmm, about five billion, this list is good enough.
"By the way.", I spoke as I flipped through the book, "Avalon, I have something I want to test."
The animals tilted their head, looking at me. In a fsh, I pulled out War Symphony and pulled the trigger.
Trinity is unique because it was a byproduct of the first nuclear bomb, aptly named Trinity. It was far weaker than any atomic bombs today, or whatever the countries are cooking up.
But it symbolizes something.
Humanity's ingenuity and its capability for destruction.
Trinity is the first spark— the revetion of mankind's future, a new age that can either lead to total annihition or a beautiful paradise.
God Syers are made when an object is filled with malice and contempt, for life or anything else.
Conceptually, Trinity held the malice of the entire human race.
And Hitler's gun? The most hated and evil man in human history, someone whom everyone was trying to kill like a guaranteed ticket to paradise just dropped. He had to just kill himself when the world's malice was pounding on him.
The combination of these two objects represents the Great War, the two most significant moments in that war. Thus, a War Symphony.
A bullet came out of the barrel, and the fox in front of me tried to dodge it. But inky arms of Justice Sludge fixed it in pce—
All at once, the beasts in this world cried out, roaring in pain.
"Decration of Annihition: Limbo Requiem.", I stared at the beasts as I stood up.
The bck fme rose around me, and a field of ghostly bck swords appeared in that circle.
I pulled the trigger at a writhing cat, sending pain across all the bodies of Avalon.
"Descent of the Twin Suns."
Two shadows of Fat Man and Little Boy formed in the sky.
"I'll take my leave now, just think of this as an advanced decration of war.", I smirked, shooting another animal for good measure.
Right at the same time, I sliced open a portal with Marmyadose.
Oh, you expected a big battle? Not right now since there is some unknown creature rampaging about. You will get your taste of glory very soon—
Huh?
Just as I step out, I see one of my warships falling out of the sky— that one was Warspite.
At the same time, Utopia reported.
"[A massive aircraft just exited camofgue, its firepower is something more than I can handle.]"
I gnced at my book, still flipping through the items... huh, this could do.
"The Monster of the End and the Beginning.", I took in a deep breath, "Spring Heeled Jack."
Reverie Sludge poured out of the book, forming an automation.
In this white city of mine, fog began to form unnaturally.
I stare up into the sky, seeing my fighter jets surrounding a fortress-like emerald aircraft, bigger than any I've seen before...
Before Spring Heeled Jack fully activates, I grabbed its metallic arm— and threw it, aiming at the aircraft...
"Bookmark.", I commanded the book, "Change, search for flying aircraft, emerald color."
The Book of Akasha flips— ah.
I stare at where the pages stopped...
A Construct of the World...
"Vimana, the Ship of Light.", how I would love to bring you down...
And take it for myself.
=0=0=
"What the fuck is that thing?!?!"
The soldiers were running away, firing their guns at a figure in the fog.
A tall looming monster with iron bck skin, muscur and intimidating in stature. With eternal glowing red eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth. A pair of bat wings on its back.
Just like Charlotte feels, this is a weapon of mass destruction— a relic of the old—
Spring Heeled Jack.
The monster was made by humanity to end the era of myths and legends, in order to bring the dawn of mankind.
The Monster of the End and the Beginning.
It lunged forward, grabbing a soldier and bit into his neck— then turned to another one and sshed their throat with its sharp cws.
Jack did not say anything, only letting out growls every now and then. Its red eyes turned to the incoming soldiers... it retreated into the thick fog.
The coms lit up.
[Benson to all, we have identified the creature, courtesy of the Queen, it is Spring Heeled Jack— an indestructible automata that runs on a mechanical system. We have to lure it to another part of the ship and throw it out.]
"Shit... this might be tougher than it looks.", a soldier in bck armor mutters.
The thing they are facing is not something they can handle. And Vimana, a Construct of the World, does not have any inner security or defenses, because nobody thought, even the Ego of the World, anyone would be dumb enough to infiltrate it.
Apparently sending an indestructible killing machine was not accounted for.
As the soldiers navigating the halls of Vimana move through the thick fog generated by Jack.
Meanwhile, at the control room.
The operators are smashing every button they can, pulling any lever they find, twisting every nobs they can reach. Hundreds of missiles, arrows, bullets, even zers, fired off at the same time, coming down from the sky like a rain of death, all aimed at the general direction of Camelot.
But things did not go according to their pns.
Camelot, the city itself, retaliated. Newly formed artillery towers fired off magically enhanced shells, all the while none of the shots managed to penetrate the shield of the city.
"Do we have a visual on the Target?!", the commanding operator asked.
The people managing observation through hundreds of gss tubes, connected throughout the entire ship, was te to respond.
"There is no sign of her around us!!"
"Tch, we need to find her—"
Boom!!!
The ship tilted from an impact.
"Stabilize!!", the commander rushed over to a panel— swiped at it.
In an instant, the falling ship teleported back into the sky, maneuvering around at a safe distance.
"What just hit us?!", he screamed.
The observers were speechless.
Floating outside of the ship was a silver mecha, standing 100 meters in height. Its silver wings spread out and stood still in the air. At a closer look, there are dark inky substances oozing out of every crevice and joint of the mecha.
"Focus fire!!!", the commander yelled.
All of the missiles and zers of the ship fired at the same time, all aiming at the mecha in the sky.
Explosions rang out as the missiles hit the mecha. And when the smoke cleared— people quietly celebrated in their hearts...
Half of the mecha was destroyed— broken and was only connected by the dark blue ink.
"Do you think that attack was enough?", Charlotte's serene and soft voice echoed, yet there is an undeniable pressure to it.
The ink retracted... people stared in horror as the half they just blew off came back... with HMS Warspite attached to the right arm.
"[Armament: Warspite.]", a gravely voice echoed.
The ship transformed, turning into a greatsword over 100 meters long.
"How are we supposed to fight against that—"
Boom!!!
The door to the command deck was forcibly opened. Fog began to pour into the room... followed by a low growl of a monster hidden inside the fog.
"Retreat!! We cannot fight with that thing in here!!", he activated the ship again, traveling at the speed of thought— running away from Charlotte—
But someone else was aiming for them.
"Bang."
A beam of condensed fire pierced the ship moving at almost lightspeed. Shot from the London Tower.
There stood Hoa, pointing her finger gun toward the Atntic Ocean.
"Too bothersome. Just do whatever she tells you to do.", she watched from afar as the emerald ship crashed into the ocean.
Then Hoa realized, "Huh, better start running now... I ruined her fun."
With that, she left.
