So, I bought a house. Yes, there is still space left to buy a house in one of the most overpoputed cities in Europe.
The reason why I bought a house? Because I can, plus, who the fuck is going to reject me?
I can't keep paying for a hotel for days, well, I can but why should I?
It's a nice two-story house, built like an urban house despite being on the outskirts of the city. Athen is too annoying for me, the distance isn't too bad anyway.
Sitting on the sofa, I was listening to the news. Texas is on fire— oh, maybe that's why Selen is here. Some scandals broke out, the governor was running a drug trafficking scheme on the side, connecting him with a cartel in New Mexico, some people decided my Trial was not enough and decided to take justice into their own hands.
Argent Alexandria is becoming more controversial than it already is. My name and my message is becoming distorted...
Hehe... that is all I really want~
For the Utopic Dystopia of mine, feel free to twist my words however you like.
"Aren't you going to do anything?", I asked Seria, who is with me.
"Nope, it's just chaos everywhere. It'll solve itself in due time~", she shrugged, taking the remote control from me, "Honestly, it's dangerous but I want to see whatever the president would do without me."
"If anything, an 'unfortunate' accident would happen.", she chuckled to herself, "As long as my nation lives, everything that happens inside it is no concern to me."
That is how the Witch of America sees it.
"Anyway, after your sister is stable, where are you intending to go next?", she changed the topic.
"Romania to deliver the cure for vampirism.", I nonchantly said, pulling out my phone, and seeing Enna's message, "Oh, and today's dinner will be roasted chicken."
"Wait, wait! Backtrack a bit!!", she stared at me, "Cure vampirism?! It's one of the world's incurable diseases!!"
"Nothing is incurable, only that the solution hasn't been found.", I snapped my finger, summoning the Book of Akasha, "I have something that can cure it."
And it requires a massive amount of preparation in most cases. But not me, I am the Argent Monarch of Humanity.
"A Philosopher's Stone should do the trick.", from the book, a crimson stone came out.
"You know that is made of human souls, right? How the fuck does your Book of Akasha work?!", Seria questioned me.
I don't actually know how any of my power works or functions. I usually just chalk it up to the Akasha.
Well... I have some theories.
The Attribute calls Memory, it's Terra's Attribute if they only had one. The power to recall the past... it is truly dangerous.
What are my Attributes anyway?
Back to the point, since Akasha belongs to the World, there is no reason why it couldn't have Memory. But mine are stronger, I can recall the memories of the past and future, using weapons and knowledge of humanity as I see fit.
I wonder if that has anything to do with the Fragment of the Universe.
"It's magic.", that was all I answered.
"That doesn't expin anything!", she excimed.
"Tell the World who summoned all of the Dragons to kill me that. This world is already fucked up from the start, why question anything absurd."
There is no point in looking at the big picture. It is better to look small, examine the little details, and go from there. Isn't that what humanity does best?
I got up from the sofa and headed upstairs.
Hoa was looking at the sky, feeling bored out of her mind. In her hand was a golden ticket, carrying the symbol of a torch on it.
"Hmm... it seems like it is time.", she muttered, looking at the ticket - now glowing faintly.
She tucked it back in, then she turned to me.
"What is going on?", I asked her.
"Well, my time here is close to over. The Stelr Express is close, so I'll go back to my Lord and Fme.", she stated, looking at the sky, "I can't miss it, even though I have someone I want to see..."
"I can pass the message on if you want to.", that's the least I can do for an alien... and a friend.
"Really.", she chuckled, "Then could you deliver this child to Quang Trung?"
From her hand, a small fireball appeared, flickering and spinning around her... it's sentient.
I snapped my finger, summoning the Book of Akasha again, "Alright, I can do that."
From the book, I pulled out a fire-resistant container, but it had enough space for this fireball to go into.
The fireball flickers at Hoa, and she nods. Then it flew into the container.
"Utopia, pick this up after dinner.", I commanded as I pced the container down.
"[As you command, Your Majesty.]", he replied.
I look at Hoa, "What is this, exactly?"
She put a finger on her chin, "By human terms, it's a nuke."
...
A nuke?
I stare at the little fireball... forget it, nothing can surprise me anymore.
"Hoa, care for a hug?", I open my arms.
She rolled her eyes and then quietly went in for a hug.
Hoa is the first person I ever called a friend. Although our retionship is one-sided, I... I am sad to let her go.
"Charlotte?", she called my name.
"...", I was just staring bnkly, "It's nothing..."
"Hoa, Fthaggua, whatever name you go by... just know that I am your friend.", I hugged her even tighter.
"Of course, Charlotte."
Just as I was having this nice moment with Hoa, the arm went off.
I clicked my tongue and pulled out my phone...
There is a mythical beast on the loose. I am pissed now.
"A Chimera is heading to Athens.", I sighed, going out to the balcony, "Utopia, give me the coordinates."
A holographic screen appeared in front of me, dispying the terrain and the location of both me and the Chimera. It's quite far, but nothing I shouldn't be able to handle.
I snapped my finger, summoning Fallen Starlight.
"In the Name of Humanity.", I raised the gun to the sky.
"By the power of Human Rebellion..."
A white bullet formed inside the gun, inscribed with Runes.
"By the Rite of Steel and Gunpowder..."
I closed my eyes.
"I shall grant you Finality.", and I pulled the trigger.
"Fallen Starlight."
There was no sound, just a serene atmosphere around me. This is how Fallen Starlight should be, the will to defy the divine, the power born from the hatred of humanity. Not a dull sound of gunfire.

New Delhi, India.
"This is Mordecai, we have the target in sight.", an agent in full bck reported. He was looking at an obelisk made of marble, yet the ethereal glow it exudes makes him think twice.
[This is Rigby. Everything is in order.], a voice spoke over the radio, [Just put the gemstone into the third slot from bottom to top, twist the right lion next to it until you hear a click, go down two, and push in the jade one to the left.]
"Why are ancient techs always this complicated?", he compined as he performed as instructed.
[They don't have digital tech, duh. It's all mechanical.]
"Are we even sure this is the right combination?", he was skeptical, to say the least.
[It's not just ancient tech, bro. It's something more than that.]
The entire pce Mordecai was in rumbles, the darkness was illuminated by green and golden light.
"I know.", he nodded, staring in awe at the interior of this pce, "I've seen the mech underneath Denmark... its size doesn't even compare to this."
[Because this is more than that, it is a Construct of the World. Vimana, the Ship of Light.]
