  With the mysterious presence of the {Maiden of the Emerald Sea} finally vanquished, Vd sighed in relief that things were over. Today ended feeling like an exceedingly long day.

  He did Css ge, thehrough a terrifying trial, tested his powers, then Chris went through an even lorial, then he came to the forest to train, ended up saving Chris from being possessed, fought hundreds of Dark Spirits in a swarm, and then had to deal with some rampaging eldritch god that chose a goblin girl that came out of nowhere as an avatar!

  And that’s without even sidering what was going on with that; there’s apparently a cult hiding in the Dark Forest, and he absolutely had no idea about it at all!

  It was only now that he learned about it through these knights and padins, but they were already dead to ask for any questions. And with them dead, Chris was uo extract dreams to read information out of memories either.

  Overall, it was quite the helpless and hopeless situation he found himself in… Although he had grinded quite a lot and was satisfied with that, the goblin girl’s thing was a whole new problem to deal with.

  Who was she?

  Why was she a damn pyer if she was being possessed?

  What was her retionship with the {Maiden of the Emerald Sea}?

  And more importantly, where in the world did she e from?

  So many questions and so few answers! Vd, or rather Paul, felt frustrated and tired; he was already having a slight headache and wao log out already and go to the bathroom.

  “Haah… I have a lot of questions for you,” Vd said, crossing his arms as he gred at the goblin girl. “You’re a Pyer, right? Why were you being possessed by a damn eldritch god?”

  “A-Ah! I was?! Wait… Yeah, I was…” the goblin girl muttered. “I-I…!”

  However, she could barely bring herself to speak properly, stantly stuttering, whily ahe crippled vampire prince even more.

  “’t you speak normally?!” Vd asked angrily; he was quite ky right now.

  “S-Stop being so mean with me!” The goblin girl cried, almost in tears.

  The truth was, she was actually quite scared and tired too. She had been just possessed and didn’t even realize! And above all else, she was meeting the enemy of her current tractor, the Vampire Prince Vd, the ohat killed his tractor’s wife and son at that.

  “S-Shit, fug hell! Why is this happening?! He’s super strong, and I am too weakened now! Do I log out to escape from him?! I ’t get captured and end up spilling the beans! The goblin merary group is like my fug family now, araying them would be the worst I could ever do in my goblin life!”

  She grabbed her long ears and started pulling them out of nervousness while she started biting her lips to the point they started bleeding.

  “Huh?”

  Vd was looking at the goblin girl trying to say something but ultimately never doing so, stantly pulling her hair and ears, bitiongue and lips, and panig, making weird noises while trying to think of something.

  “Gwack! Gahaha… Bababah… Uuuh! I… no! Ugh! That’s…! W-What do I do?!”

  Despite ag rough and coolheaded, the goblin girl was actually quite airheaded…

  “I-Is she having a panic attack? Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything…”

  Vd took out a potion from his iory and offered it to her, before looking at the fragments of her armor, which left him a bit ied.

  “That armor beloo the knights and the padin of the cultists, right? Were you attacked by them? Or… are you part of their cult? Don’t worry; even if you are, I won’t do anything to you. You’re a pyer, and this is ultimately a game. If a pyer join such a thing, I’m rather intrigued.”

  He tried to be gentle, ag all charming without realizing. His sharp red eyes, his slender figure, his long silvery-white hair, and his majestic armor mixed with his beautiful clothes made the goblin girl instantly grow even more nervous.

  “Fuck, why is he so hot! Someone save me!”

  As she panicked and covered her head, she received the potion and drank it anyway, while sighing and trying to calm down, thinking about what to even say.

  “Uh, no, I belong to… Uh, to a merary group that happeo be around here… We were fetg materials and… hunting monsters.”

  “Uh-huh, that’s iing. Then where did the cultists e from?”

  “Aaah… No idea, they just showed up out of nowhere and attacked my squad… They were all NPCs, so… they died permaly. I know it’s a game, but… I had grown attached to them.”

  “S-So that’s what happened…”

  Vd’s face distorted into one of sadness; the goblin girl didn’t expect to see su expression from someone she believed to be some ruthless crazy pyer that enjoyed killing both other Pyers and NPCs…

  But it seemed she was a bit wrong about the young vampire man.

  “I’m sorry about your loss. I wish I could’ve been there earlier… I also protect a lot of NP my city—I mean, I’m a ruler. Ah, I guess I never introduced myself, huh? I’m Vd Von Sange VII, and I am a Prihat—"

  “I know about you, dude! Who wouldn’t know who you are?! You’re literally the most popur Pyer in the Obscuritas server right now!”

  “A-Ah! Hahahah! Is that so? No way!”

  Paul felt embarrassed, scratg his head and ging his personality pletely, revealing to the goblin girl he was quite the humble guy IRL.

  “I’m Gofumina… I am a Great Sword Master,” she sighed. “And… I’m really thankful for what you did; thanks. But I o get going; seriously, I… Uh, I repay you one day?”

  “Eh? You’re leaving already—wait!” Vd tried to stop her as his face panicked.

  “Is he going to chase me?!” Gofumina prepared to use her skill to run faster.

  Only that…

  BUMP!

  “Ugh?! What the…? UWAAH?!”

  She screamed in horror as she ended up bumping into a giant ioid woman, who was looking at her with the desire of eating her up.

  “Is this the little rat that we saved, master? Hmm~ She’s indeed quite delectable. May I eat her?”

  The womaly lifted her little with her sharp cws, looking into her eyes.
