*Swing* *Csh*
Their fists cshed, neither side looking to give in. Despite the massive difference in frame, they look about equal in terms of power output. It is a match with two sides being on an equal pying field, like they are in the same weight css.
*Evade* *Strike*
However, in terms of speed, Emmie is the one with a clear advantage. Her smaller and nimbler frame makes it much easier for her to win the exchange of fists and kicks. The fact that the Krusher is slower means that she has a bigger window to dodge and counter when the opposite scenario would’ve been more unforgiving.
Despite getting more hits in than she has taken, the Krusher hasn’t been slowing down regardless. They have been exchanging retively light blows. Ones that would’ve probably broken a few of my bones, but for them it is more of a light jab. It’s only been a minute and all they are doing is using physical attacks with no extra helping of magic, or any sort of spells at all. I get why Emmie might not want to, she is the one with the slight advantage right now. A spell or votile attacks might tip the scale in the other direction if executed poorly, but that guy doesn’t look like someone who cares about strategies. Maybe in that berserker state he doesn’t think about even using magic spells? Is he cognizant enough for it?
*Swing* *Evade*
A clean hit from that giant fist of his looks like it could split her head open, but she easily dodged them and for all I know it probably won’t be that devastating of an impact. The hits he has connected were more like grazes than anything.
Still. It feels rather arming. This woman who I always see as a psycho who has a rge amount of power behind even the most basic of attacks, she is clearly meeting her match here.
At this rate it looks like it is turning into a war of attrition more than anything. I’m not really sure how it will go, but… Actually, I really hope Emmie wins. If he isn’t pcated after beating her, Glery and I might be next. I guess I could go in and help even if I’m far weaker than either. A cheapshot is almost always effective even with a rge power gap. You’d need to be so astronomically stronger to be able to shrug one off.
*Kick* *Swing* *Evade* *Leap*
She managed to nd a kick on his chin, which simply staggered him for a second before quickly recovering and trying to counter with a punch straight to the face, which she simply leaned to the side to dodge, and he followed up by trying to grab onto her with his left hand, which she noticed and reacted in time, jumping away and creating distance between them.
“Doesn’t quite meet up to the hype just yet. How long is it going to take for you to ramp up? Are you not angry enough? I doubt this is your limit.” Emmie said, taunting the big guy. Should she be saying that when he is already close to your level? What if he really lets loose and goes apeshit?
“RAAAGGHHH!!!” Jeez, that scream is gonna rupture my eardrums before either side takes any real damage.
*Sizz* *Dash*
His whole body is igniting!? He’s trying to ram into Emmie who still retained a calm expression, though less smug than she was a few seconds ago.
*Leap* *Crash*
“A bit intimidating, if still rather predictable.” She remarked as she jumped out of the way. With the attack missing he ended up crashing into the wall. Still not even a small crack, even though that should probably leave a hole in the wall for any other building.
*Dash* *Strike*
The moment she hits the ground and notices the fmes around his body disappearing due to the stagger, hitting him in the back and pushing him into the wall again.
*Turn* *Swing*
He quickly recovered from it and turned around before he could get stuck in a combo, trying to hit her with his bulky arm.
*Grapple* *Swing* *Throw* *Crash*
Unexpectedly, she managed to grab onto the thick arm and stop the momentum, then retaliated by throwing his body towards another wall.
“Still too slow and too predictable.” She criticized him. She is still clearly the one with the advantage, and she seems to know a few tidbits about how he ticks, and also chose to not end the fight early while she still got the lead. You’d think she is way stronger than him with these interactions, but as we established earlier when they were exchanging attacks, that is definitely not the case, especially as this counter of hers also doesn’t do that much damage.
*Dash* *Swing* *Csh* *Tackle* *Punch* *Evade* *Strike*
They are going back for another exchange of fists, with the state of the battle going back to neutral with neither side looking like they are stronger than the other or holding an immediate advantage. Multiple attacks were unched in the span of only a few seconds, yet neither side is losing ground as the war of attrition continues.
I can barely make sense of everything that is happening during this fight. It is very fast-paced and yet not a lot seems to be happening, their speed is much greater than my own and the amount of attacks they can dish out to each other is too plentiful for me to react to.
Honestly. I probably didn't even register close to half of what was happening in each moment, from the punches that were dodged, or weak jabs that connected or grazed each person. It looks absolutely relentless and yet I don't have much else to say since I can’t really describe everything in real time, and is it even worth doing that when this is basically just a prolonged stalemate? If neither side is gonna pull out the big guns then this is probably gonna st for a long while with no interactions of significance happening.
Yep. They’re still going at it. At this point it might even be longer than the first skirmish. It’s like stretching out a suspenseful moment.
“RAAAH!!!” The Krusher screamed out loudly and some sort of pressure was emitted out, causing Emmie to involuntarily retreat while the two of us could feel it from here. That was sudden, and the power spikes just now are unbelievable!
“Starting to show some promise.” Emmie said, still feeling confident in her abilities despite the fact that he seems to grow stronger with each second. It’s not an insane ramp, but definitely noticeable. If she keeps up I don’t think anything in her bag of tricks will help.
*Dash* *Swing* *Evade* *Punch* *Kick*
The Krusher quickly ran towards her with a right hook that she avoided and countered with a punch to the chest and a kick to the arm, neither even budging the guy. Maybe now she’ll actually start getting serious?
*Grab*
He suddenly grabs her with both of his hands, that doesn’t look good.
*Shine*
“Ah!” That was my voice involuntarily leaking out from the sudden fshbang. What the hell was that for!?
“Not my favorite trick in the books.” Emmie compined as vision started to return to me.
*Kick*
She seemed to have kicked him in the chest and pushed him back. It’s still a bit blurry for me. Things are still pretty fast-paced even with a few pauses here and there.
She then held her right arm up, as if reaching for something.
Suddenly, a crude scythe appeared in her hand, looking like it was made of simple brittle stone. Where did she get that from? Summon it? Create it?
“It’s crude, but it’ll do.” She said before resting it on her shoulder for a second, as it seems to glow a slight ominous red.
*Dash* *Ssh*
She quickly goes on the offensive and starts attacking him with a flurry of scythe swings, all of them way too fast for what one would expect from someone wielding a weapon so cumbersome and rger than herself, hitting him more than a few times and pushing him back, but still not quite hard-hitting enough to even draw blood.
*Parry* *Ssh* *Evade*
Krusher obviously doesn’t take these attacks lying down, opting to try to counter it with his fists. He has an unreasonably rge frame and therefore very long arms, so it’s not that unfeasible, but it does have the downside of, you know, tackling the sharp bde with your bare hands instead of a weapon, or even gloves. He ought to dodge the attacks a few times, but that is only once he has gotten hit too much and failed to parry a few too many times.
*Punch* *Crack*
He managed to get one good hit in, punching the scythe right from the side and breaking it.
*Dash* *Grab* *Throw*
He wasted no time at all to close the distance and grab Emmie, this time opting to throw her away instead of trying to crush her or sm her into the ground.
*Sizz* *Throw* *Crash* *Boom*
He formed a ball of fire and threw it right at her just as she crashed into the ceiling, the fmes bursting and causing the room to look red for a brief period of time.
She nded back rather gracefully, but… Her expression is rather… intense.
“Look at what you did to my dress.” She said, looking at the burnt fabric. Is that really what she should be saying right now? “I know you are watching this, I better see some compensation ter.”
Huh? What in the world does she mean by-
*Sizz* *Throw*
“RARGH!” The Krusher screamed out as he threw another big fireball right towards her, obviously not caring about whatever cryptic thing she was saying at this moment.
*Swat* *Glow*
She just swatted it away as her body seemed to be glowing in a subtle red light.
*Crackle*
Red and bck aura started to surround her. The power reading is going off the charts here. Is that some sort of buffing spell she is using on herself?
*Dash* *Sizz* *Punch*
The Krusher attempted to ignore this big red fg, running towards her and opting to go back to fighting hand-to-hand, even covering his body in fire again. He was rewarded for it with a punch to the stomach, this time actually looking like it is greatly affecting him with his body stopping in its tracks and staggering.
*Dim*
Suddenly some sort of dark energy seems to gushed out as Emmie pull her arms out of the poor guy’s stomach, suddenly forming into some sort of energy b-
*Stab*
…Going in for the second stomach strike, this time ft out piercing through his body with the arm covered in bck energy, forming into a sharp bde.
She withdraws and takes a few steps back, flicking the blood off her arms and silently watching the big brute fall to the ground. His body is shrinking back to its original form.
“I’m in a pretty bad mood with my dress ruined. I’m expecting to see compensation in less than a day.” She said before walking away, ignoring the guy bleeding out, alongside everyone else who is still unconscious… Maybe some of them are just pretending right now, actually.
Still I should probably do something about this. Glery is plenty terrified right now and more importantly, I don’t think the school is gonna be happy with me letting a guy bleed out even if I have zero clues on how to treat someone. It’s not like his body is inside a training zone either, where the healing option can be applied. Trying to move his body as-is is gonna make him bleed out faster. Maybe there’s a panel somewhere in the room for universal healing? I should-
“Wow. What a mess.” Suddenly, someone appeared with a casual tone to what is clearly a big mess… It’s Coach Wana. Why is she… “Oh. You two. Move along now, I’m here as the sole clean-up… Crew? Person? Whatever, you two should scram.”
Why is… You know what, this is her problem now, not mine.
“Let’s go, Glery.” I said, dragging her to the teleport pad and selecting… anywhere else, really. We should leave this to her and stop worrying about it.
