“How much did you guys pay them to bring us a feast like that?” I asked, not feeling like I can even move with how much I’ve eaten.
“Enough for them to be afloat for a year or two more.” She casually said. Not really sure if that’s the best use of their money, but who am I to judge. I’m not the one with that much money lying around. Also, the food is good, so less reason to be pedantic. “You can all rex and rest for a while. Wouldn’t want any of you getting car sick on the way to the dungeon.”
Yep. That might be a problem, so I’m gd she’s letting us sit around, drinking some water, making sure no one is feeling nauseous. It looks like all of us ate a bit too much since there’s a crap ton of food.
*Ring* *Ring*
“Hold on a moment.” Rico’s phone rang out as she walked away from the table to take the phone call. “...Really? If it’s that… then… Nah. I’m fine where I am, I’m sure you two got it all under control… Oh. They’re… Uh huh. Is that all? What? …No, like I said, I’m fine just dicking around for now, you guys should get some time to have fun…”
I can only make out a part of the conversation. Sounds like she’s talking to a friend or a colleague. There’s nothing else I can figure out from that.
Looking at Glery who is sitting next to me, I can see her closing her eyes and resting her head on the table, but the snakes are still active and staring at the leftovers. Is she controlling those or what? I can’t really… Why is one of them looking at me like that?
“Good fucking thing that we don’t have to fight afterward.” Histon said, not filtering his words. “Is it just me or does this all seems like a pretense for us to fuck off from the school for a while.”
“That… is possible.” Krion said. “While it is technically not even a full day’s worth of time with this tactic, we already know that they can make all kinds of modifications to the school in less than half a day.”
“...Shouldn’t they just do it like the st time? I doubt they need to use even that much time anyway.” Trener spouted some unusually wise words.
“That is also true, if we were to take the time frame of creating this new school in its pce, and whatever changes they want to make are probably nowhere near that scale, they could just do it during midnight or even just in the evening when all the students are gone. Of course, they haven’t exactly been acting on logic, or more specifically, what we thought of as common sense.” Krion replied, conceding to his logic, but adding a caveat to it. “There’s no need to dwell on it for long. If there is anything big happening, I’m sure we’ll notice sooner or ter.”
“You guys ran into what!?” We all got startled from Rico saying something out loud on her phone. “Did it seriously activate now of all times? …Well as long as they are juveniles or no less than a hundred years old even Able should be able to handle it… What is going on over there? Whose luck is causing all these hijinks?”

“I don’t want to insult you or anything, but I think we are a bit out of our league.” I said, seeing that we are surrounded by a bunch of dragons of different shapes and colors. I believe there are eight on the deck with us, blocking the stairs to get back into the lobby below, and a few more circling us.
“Speak for yourself.” She said, still maintaining the confident facade. Should she act like that when she doesn’t even have a weapon on hand?
As for these overgrown lizards. They aren’t attacking just yet, but they have surrounded the ship and seem to look at us more like entertainment than food… Which makes sense, it’s not like us humans have a lot of meat on our bones anyway.
“Well. How about you take five while I take three?” I said, knowing full well we probably won’t get much time to even get a single attack in.
“Fine by me.” She said with a grin on her. “[Stop]!”
*Dim* *Dash* *Punch*
She uses some sort of paralysing spell on a purple dragon before punching it off the deck. Wait, she actually managed to damage one? …Hold on a second.
“Hey, maybe don’t get the first attack in before I do?” I said as I noticed the dragons looking much more on-guard after seeing one of their own get pushed off. Now from what I just saw it is clear that there was no real damage done, but it seems they find even that a bit too much.
***Roar****
“[Air Burst]!” I shouted as it became clear that they were raring to attack.
*Whirl* *Boom*
A massive torrent of wind was unched at multiple dragons in the way… and they aren’t even flinching. Emmie only managed to knock hers off because she caught it off-guard with a spell meant to target one enemy. This AoE attack ain’t working, unfortunately.
*Swat*
“Alright, you two, pack it up.” The P.E. teacher called Able walked up to the deck by swatting away the dragon guarding the stairs… You know, I haven’t thought about it, but how intelligent are these guys? “Get behind me. I’ll handle them.”
*Lunge* *Ssh*
One of the dragons on the deck tried to attack us before we could do so, but he quickly stepped in and intercepted the attack with a cut to its belly, sending it reeling back before he put the sword back into its sheath.
“Haaa…!” Able began to gather power as it seems like the mana in the environment is being sucked up into his body, overloading it.
*Shock* *Zap*
The dragons that try to get close to him are being repelled by the pressure of whatever move he is pulling out. Is he sure this won’t hit us? At least with the st attack that was clearly aimed at a single target.
“HAAAAH!!!” He screamed loudly as he raised his arms into the air.
*CRACKLE* *ZAP* *SHOCK* *ZAP* *SPARK*
Lighting rains down on the area, engulfing everything in light and I can’t see a damn thing through all of this!
…By the time my vision returns to me, or to be more accurate, the surrounding is not attempting to blind me anymore, all that I can see is a bunch of charred corpses of the dragons on the deck, and a few dragons still flying around in the air, but the amount is greatly reduced.
“Great. It looks like there are some grown-ups mixed in, or maybe teenagers?” He mutters as the remaining dragons, all of them having some charred spot on their body but are otherwise alive and in good condition, all start to charge up an attack with a clear intent on killing us.
He unsheathed his sword, looking to intercept the five dragons still in the sky, not having the most confident expression on his face.

*Shake*
“W-What’s happening now!?” Seni cried out. Yeah, that’d be nice to know. I thought that earlier attack was supposed to end the encounter.
“Looks like some of them managed to withstand the attack. Must’ve been matured dragons.” Edea casually expined. Wait. Were most of those children!?
“Can you give us a more comprehensive expnation?” Orrel asked, trying to not sound panicked.
“Able is dealing with the remaining five dragons right now. He could easily take down one in a one-on-one fight even after spending a good deal of energy with that attack just now, but at the moment he is outnumbered, and your two friends on the deck are unfortunately not going to be of any help.” Edea expined the event in further detail. “He doesn’t have a rge enough power advantage to fight five of them at once. Dang it, do I actually have to go and help?”
*Shake*
“If this keeps up, he might actually get killed.” Edea casually said, staring at the panel. From the tone it at least looks like Able should be able to hold out for a good while, but it looks like they are genuinely contempting stepping out and helping him fight. I think they are at least as strong as Able, not that I can tell, since they’re suppressing it right now.
*Shine* *Crackle*
What is it now!?
“Oh? Well I didn’t expect you to show that face here, but it is convenient nonetheless.” Something about that wording seems to cause something to click in my head, since I instinctively turn to look at Wiina who is in the form of Jass, who seems a bit out of it. That should mean she is reallocating her ‘resources’, so to speak. What that pilr of light probably means is…
“I should get some flying cameras for this. Looks like this could be a fun watch.” Edea said, pressing a few buttons on the control panel.
The screen showed up again with a camera showing a figure descending from up high in the cloud, catching the attention of everyone out there. The dragons which seem to be quite ready to jump Able, are transfixed on what just appears, like a divine figure descending from heaven.
“One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven…” Wiina counted up to seven as she floats in the air as the pilr of light dissipates, mimicking the number seven with her right hand as she slowly turns her head to gre at the five dragons. “Seven letters… Execute.”
*BANG*
She moved her right hand which had earlier mimicked the number seven, aiming her index finger at one of the dragons, shooting out a magical bullet that cleanly tore a massive hole in its head, sending its body descending down into the depths below.
In less than a second, the life of a powerful being was snuffed out.
*Fp*
Despite the sudden loss of one of its members. The other dragons changed their target and started flying towards the new foe. The one that they have no chance of beating.
As they approached, she chose to draw a line in the air. A thin line of light appeared.
*SLICE*
One of the dragons who doesn’t quite realize the meaning of that gesture was sliced in half as it tried to approach her, colliding with the spell without words as it activated and ran through it like a hot knife through butter.
Probably now realizing how much of a threat she poses, the three dragons quickly retreated, probably expecting a follow-up to that lethal spell.
*Swat* *Crash*
Then suddenly, she moves. Flying to the back of one of the dragons and smacking it in the head so hard it collided with another dragon, causing it to also stagger.
*Shine*
She covered her right arm in mana, forming some sort of ethereal whirlpool of energy around it, shining brightly.
*Glide* *PIERCE* *DRILL*
She flies towards the two dragons still trying to recover from the sudden attack, piercing through both of them as the collection of energy formed into a giant drill of light, eviscerating the two dragons, reducing most of their bodies into paste and also sending them falling down.
“One more…” She said as she turned around to look at the final dragon, turning the giant drill of light into a giant sword of light instead, more than capable of cutting it in two. I can tell it is fearing for its life, even if I can barely discern its expression.
*Glow*
It then started to glow. What is it doing now?
Wiina looks oddly armed as she seems to realize what it is doing. What could one dragon be doing to make her so armed?
She still flies toward it anyway, even after observing it for a few seconds.
*Swing*
The sword of light didn’t connect. Not because she missed, or even because of what the dragon did.
The dragon turned into a humanoid form, resembling that of a human woman, but still with wings on her back and some other draconic traits. She was an inch or two away from having her body split up like a watermelon.
Wiina hesitated, seeing the fearful face of an enemy that not so long ago had very real intent on harming her friends.
*Stab*
Before either could make any move, however. Able appeared right behind the dragon in her humanoid form and stabbed her in the back, the bde going through her chest.
She didn’t immediately die, looking down at the bde poking out of her chest, horrified at the gruesome scene and what was about to come next.
*Slice*
Able swung the sword, tearing out her left side in the process and letting her body fall towards the earth below, the droplets of blood on his sword fell down along as well.
“...Alright, all of you, get back in the ship.” Edea announced, knowing full well that we would need some time to process what’s really going on, and not make any remarks.
