{George}
After I left the training area I couldn't help but feel proud that I have a sister-in-law like Eve. It's no surprise to me that Elder Lewis picked her to be the leader of the Super Agents. Although one would think that Jacob would've been picked to be the leader over Eve because he's a double agent.
Once I got to the observation deck I met up with Triple X, Branden and Junior. When Junior saw me he cheered. "Daddy! Did that see that power that Aunt Eve had? That was awesome!"
I chuckled. "Yeah that was pretty great. You know she's pretty famous around here? She's known as one of the strongest Agents ever! As a matter of fact she's the main reason I decided to sign up to be an Agent."
"Wow, cool! I wanna be just as strong as Aunt Eve is one day!" Junior said.
"Me too!" Zoey said. "When I grow up, I'm going to be just as strong as Mommy is!"
"It's a good thing they started teaching us the basics on how to fight in daycare!" Junior said.
"What?" Dad said. "They're teaching children how to fight?"
"Yeah the daycare that Junior and Zoey go to have children that are children from parents who are Agents or do some sort of work for the Organization," Eve explained. "So pretty much every child there has some sort of ability. Teaching them the basics on how to fight is standard protocol. Because once they get into actual schooling they will be taught a lot more than just the basics. The Organization has a school designed for children who have been tested on. More than likely Junior and Zoey will continue to be in the same class.
"However, they probably won't be allowed to actually challenge each other to fights until they at least reach Kindergarten."
"You mean I have to wait longer in order for me to challenge Junior?" Zoey asked.
Eve nodded. "Yup and besides you're not going to just learn things right off the bat. It takes time and practice. Even if you're a quick learner like I was at your age."
"Oh please there's a reason you also have the title of Prodigy Evelyn aside from Agent 36. You learn the moment something is taught to you. Of course it takes time to perfect what you learn but with you learning comes easy unlike the rest of us slow learners," Triple X said.
"Yeah I don't like that title and since you're dating George call me Eve," Eve said.
"And call me Triple X," Triple X said.
"And call me Branden," Branden said.
Eve chuckled. "Okey, dokey then."
Mom shook her head in dismay. "I can't believe the Organization will not let kids just be kids. It makes me grateful that Kelly and Luke aren't Agents. Cause at least that kid will be able to have a childhood."
Triple X narrowed his eyes. "Who's to say that they're not having a childhood? They're not being forced to be adults. They're being trained because they're smarter and stronger than normal humans."
Mom seemed a little bit taken aback by that comment but what Triple X said was the truth. Junior and Zoey are stronger and smarter than a normal human and if they just went to normal daycare I don't think employees there would be able to handle them.
Mom paused and she realized her mistake. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make such an insensitive comment."
"Let me ask you something Mom," Eve said. "Do you really think children like Junior and Zoey would do better in the regular human schools?"
Mom paused again and looked thoughtful. She shook her head. "Well no, they'd out pace all the other kids and be in college before they had a chance to enter elementary school!"
Eve nodded. "Exactly."
"I know who I'm going to challenge when the teachers start allowing us to fight each other, it's going to be Junior!" Zoey declared.
"And I'm going to challenge you Zoey!" Junior declared.
Triple X chuckled. "Well I guess family should fight family then."
Everyone laughed at Junior and Zoey challenging each other when they don't really know how to fight yet.
Dad cleared his throat. "Alright uh, let's all go take a rest and then we'll meet back up for dinner. Sound good?"
Everyone else nodded in agreement. With that we parted ways for the time being.
***
When everyone got together for dinner we met up at a seafood restaurant. Mom and Dad really love seafood along with steak and potatoes.
"Hey guys!" Mom said with a smile as she greeted all of us one at a time with a hug.
Mom and Dad had reserved a back room for everyone to sit at different tables and still be in the same place. The room that Mom and Dad reserved from what I could tell would be where VIP guests would go. Since the Harriman family is known to be one of the richest families in the USA Mom and Dad can reserve rooms like this without any problems at all.
Triple X, Branden, Junior and I sat at one table and Levi, Eve, Zoey, Mom and Dad sat at another table right next to ours. Everything was going well until Levi's best friend John decided to show up.
Eve glared at John. "Who invited you?"
"Well that's awfully rude!" John said. "Levi invited me, didn't you Levi?"
Levi shook his head. "No I didn't. And I didn't realize that telling what I was going to be up to this evening was an invitation for you to tag along."
Mom rolled her eyes and Dad gave a nervous chuckle. "Since you're here you might as well stay." He looked at Levi. "I think the next time you tell him where you're going to be, you should tell him this is a family affair and not to come."
John scoffed. "Well you said I can stay so I'm staying."
Our food had already come and we were starting to eat. Since Agents eat a lot of meat I guess John thought that we were catering. So he said, "Hey that looks like a lot of food! Can I have some of yours Eve? Besides, you should be eating a salad since you're a lady. And you don't want to let yourself go when you're with someone like Levi, right?"
"Excuse me?" Eve snarled. "First of all, when did I tell you we were friends?"
"You're married to Levi and Levi's my best friend so that makes you my friend by default!" John declared.
"I don't think it works that way. Listen buddy I don't like you and I do believe I've told you that before. The nickname Eve is reserved for family and friends. You aren't in either of those categories, it's Evelyn to you," Eve snapped. "And no, you may not have any of my food and I'll have you know that my job is a soldier. I get shot at on a regular basis and I burn calories a lot faster than the average woman!"
My eyes went wide when I noticed Eve's green eyes starting to turn red. From what I know of Demon Power if that gets activated out of the blue and it's not controlled it can be very destructive. Thankfully, Levi caught what was happening to Eve and put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head. "That's enough Eve. Calm down my love."
"Yeah Eve-" John started.
Dad looked at John and scowled. "Leave."
John paused. "Huh?"
"I take back my offer. Since all you're going to do is cause problems then leave," Dad said. His expression turned cold and sharp. I remember growing up I always hated that look when I got in trouble. He meant business when he gave that look and if he made any threats while having that look I knew he was going to carry them out.
John hesitated and that made Dad repeat himself. "I thought I told you to leave. Leave or I'll have security escort you out."
"Alright fine I'm leaving," John said. He turned on his heel and left.
Once he was gone Eve took her food and started chowing down on it. Although she at least had the decency to have proper table manners.
"Wow, your Dad is a force to be reckoned with!" Triple X said. "If he were an Agent he'd be just as bad as Elder Lewis. If not worse."
I snorted. "Yeah he can be pretty authoritative if he needs to be."
Mom cleared throat. "Hudson dear, it looks like you have an admirer!"
Dad laughed. "Well I can be pretty tough when I need to be. And I've met Elder Lewis before."
"Yeah Elder Lewis is definitely authoritative alright," Eve growled. "He and I have butted heads ever since I started training with him."
"And when did you start training with him?" Mom asked.
"When I got my first kill," Eve answered.
There was a short silence that fell at the table when Mom quickly changed the subject. "Well the food is wonderful here! I absolutely adore the catfish and I'm glad you got some Eve!"
"Yeah… It's tasty…" Eve said.
Mom tried to make an idle conversation with Eve but Eve just ate in silence.
"She's pissed," Triple X whispered.
"Oh? How do you know?" I responded in a whisper.
"She's eating in silence and not making eye contact with anyone," Triple X said.
"Oh," I said. I looked over at Eve to see that she was doing exactly what Triple X said she was doing.
She glared at Triple X. "I heard that and it's rude to stare!" Everyone at the table went silent and she stood up. "I'm done eating, excuse me."
After Eve left the room Mom stood up. "Um, I'm done eating too. Excuse me."
Mom walked out as fast as she could. When Eve and Mom left Dad glared at Levi. "I think it's time you do something about your so-called best friend Levi. You and I both know that he's been doing stuff like this since you got married to Eve. Let's face it he's always been jealous of you and even more so now."
Levi raised an eyebrow. "Why would he be jealous of me? He's often stated that he doesn't want to get married and he's just fine being the way he is."
You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
Dad gave a sarcastic snort. "Yeah he keeps saying that but he's in denial. Think about it, you come from a family of billionaires and while it's true that his family is rich they're not rich like us, they're millionaires. You have a drop dead gorgeous wife and an adorable daughter who looks like a mini version of your wife. Who wouldn't be jealous of that?"
"People who are content with their lives wouldn't be jealous of it," Levi pointed out.
Dad nodded. "That's true, but John isn't content with his life."
Levi sighed, "Alright I'll talk to him when we get back from vacation."
We finished the rest of our meal in silence and then met up with Eve and Mom outside where the limo we had waiting for us was. We went back to the huge beach house that we were staying at and settled in for the night. Little did we know John was going to be taken care of before Levi ever got a chance to talk to him.

When I found out an asshole named John crashed Eve's vacation with her family I was pissed. Eve deserves her vacation. She worked hard for it and she's damn good at her job. She doesn't need this idiot popping up and ruining things for her. So I decided to do something about it.
I sent Ronda to hunt John down and bring him to me by force because I knew this guy was the type that wouldn't go quietly. Ronda went out and grabbed John by the end of the day. Ronda pushed John into the room that I was sitting in and he fell face first onto the ground.
I laughed, "Did you have to push him that hard Ronda?"
"What? The guy's an asshole and he hit on me from the very first moment we met," Ronda said defensively.
"I couldn't help it!" John said. "You're a sexy lady with a sexy name Ronda. I would love it if you'd spend a night with me. And if you're good enough I might even make you my bride!"
Ronda groaned. "Seriously? You don't even know who I am and you're just going off of looks? You really are an asshole! I can see why Mrs. Evelyn doesn't like you."
"Mrs. Evelyn? You mean Eve? Levi's Eve?" John asked. "How would you know that she doesn't like me? I'll have you know that she and I-"
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah I don't think so. I've watched you from afar and you're nothing but a pest to Levi and Eve. Not to mention you're always trying to get Levi involved in some sort of scandal in hopes that Eve will leave him. Let's face it, you're jealous and you want Eve for yourself."
"How did you-" John started.
I cut him off, "I have my ways."
"So what do you want with me?" John asked.
"I want you to leave Eve and Levi alone," I said.
John scoffed, "Not a chance buddy. I don't know who the fuck you think you are but I'm not leaving them alone! Eve might be married to Levi now but I will break them apart and like you said I want Eve for myself. Levi always gets the best of everything because he's richer than me-"
"Do you really think that's why Eve is with Levi? For money? She's not, she has a job and she doesn't plan on quitting it anytime soon," I said. "As a matter of fact the company she works for would rather kill you before they would ever allow her to be with you. And how could you be so heartless as to try and break up a family like that?"
"I could be a better father to Zoey than Levi ever could!" John declared.
I snorted. "Yeah no. You're too irresponsible to try and take care of another person let alone yourself. You're just trying to break them up out of pure jealousy. So I'm going to tell you again, leave Eve and her family alone. Tell Levi that you can't be friends with him anymore."
John shook his head. "Nope. Not happening! Cause I always get what I want!"
"I see, I had a feeling that you might be difficult," I said. Earlier I knew that this guy was going to make things hard so I had used my Creation Powers to make a gun that had his name on it. I asked Ronda to bring me the gun. When Ronda handed it to me I shook my head. "Tsk, tsk John, I knew you were going to make this hard."
I grabbed John's hand and forced him to sit down in the nearest chair. I knelt down to make sure that I was eye level and said, "Where's your phone?"
"I-It's in my pocket," John stammered.
I gave him an evil smile. "Good now take it out and before you make the call I'll tell you what to say."
John looked like he wanted to object but then I took the gun and pointed it at him. He quickly complied with my request then.
"Now say this to Levi. Say I'm sorry but I've been thinking about it and I can't be friends with you anymore. And when he asks why, tell him that you can't bear the thought of him being with Eve because you love her so you can't hang around him anymore," I instructed.
"You do realize that there's no way that I'm going to stick to that right?" John said. "You might be pointing a gun at me now but what's to stop me from going over to Levi's place the moment I leave here?"
I smiled a sinister smile. "You'll be finding that out very soon. Now, make the call."
John did as he was told and when Levi answered the phone he said exactly what I told him to. John and I were both surprised by Levi's response.
"Good, because I was going to talk to you about calling off our friendship as well. Did you really have to go and try to ruin my family's vacation? Eve doesn't like you for a reason. You're selfish and immature. And yes, I know you're jealous of me but that's not going to break Eve and I apart. Eve is a loyal wife and don't think I don't know about the times you've hit on Eve. You're lucky she hasn't kicked you in the balls yet for that shit," Levi ranted. "I have half a mind to get a restraining order on you."
"You don't have to worry about that I won't be coming over anymore anyway. I'm not that dumb as to mess with a rich person's family," John growled.
Levi sounded like he wasn't buying it based on the sound of disbelief in his voice. "Uh-huh, sure you're not. Anyway, after this call we're no longer friends."
"So that's it? You're dropping a lifelong friendship for your family? Wow, that's pretty low of you!" John said.
"Lifelong friendship? My wife and daughter are more important to me than you are so yeah I'm dropping you as a friend. Goodbye," Levi said. Then he hung up the phone.
I smirked. "Well that was easy."
"No way! No way that was too easy! Levi's always been lenient towards me. We've been childhood friends and now it's ruined? No, I'm going to go talk-" John said.
"No, you're going to stay away from Levi and Eve and their daughter," I said.
"No, not happening! The moment they get back from vacation I'm going into his office to talk to him," John said.
I sighed, "Like I said, I knew you were going to make things difficult. Say goodnight John."
"Why?" John said.
I didn't say anything in response when I pulled the trigger and put a bullet in his head.
"Did yeah really have to kill him? Why not recruit him?" Ronda asked.
"Because I'm tired of making false promises," I answered. "Now let's get this cleaned up and make John disappear without a trace."
"Or we could just send the body back to his family's house?" Ronda suggested. "Even if they do find out it's you there's nothing they can do about it. Isn't that what you've done to plenty of other people?"
"That's true. Do you really think his family is the type that would go looking for their kid's murderer?" I asked.
She shrugged. "Honestly, I have no idea. It's your call."
In the end I decided to send John's body back home to his family with a note stating why he died. I didn't hear any reports about his death on the news. Although I'm pretty sure there'll be some survivor's guilt going on especially with Levi. With time I'm pretty sure Levi will be just fine. But I decided to wait until after Levi and Eve's vacation to send the body.

{Eve}
After Levi talked to John we decided to not worry about the guy until we got back from vacation. He took us to a place called an amusement park that was in the next town away from where we were staying. I'd never heard of an amusement park or been to one. Probably because I was working so hard training ever since the age of seven.
There were rollercoasters there that made their carts go at amazingly fast speeds. George and his partners along with Junior went along with us.
Since Junior and Zoey weren't tall enough to ride the adult rides we tried out some of the kiddy rides. The kiddy rides bored me to tears but I couldn't help but feel happy when I saw Zoey laughing and having fun. I mean she did just turn three so of course simple things are enough to make a toddler have fun.
Thankfully because we had Zoey and Junior's Nanny's with us we were able to leave them with their Nanny's while we went on the adult rides. The first ride we tried was a lot of fun. It felt like it took forever to get up the first hill but once we got over the first hill it went up and down a few more hills then it went in a zigzag motion. With all the twists and turns in the ride I had fun while doing a mix of screaming and laughing. Levi on the other hand laughed like a lunatic the whole entire time.
What I didn't like was when I got off the ride I vomited in the nearest trash can.
Levi laughed, "Sorry nausea can happen for first time riders!"
"Reminds me of when I first rode on the flying vehicles Agents use to get to their assignments," I said. "The driver had a lead foot and instead of going to the speed limit she went over the speed by thirty miles! I learned how to drive those things and got my license and drove myself to missions."
"That's exactly what Charlotte did!" George chuckled. "My stomach didn't like that first ride at all!"
"You guys have flying vehicles?" Levi asked.
I nodded. "They're called transformers because they can change into whatever vehicle we need them to but that's a story for another day. Let's go have some more fun!"
"You sure you don't wanna take a break?" Levi said. "You look kind of pale."
I shook my head. "Nah I'm fine. I'm good to go on another ride."
Levi shrugged. "Alright but let's ride on a slower ride this time."
George perked up. "Oh I know! What about bumper cars?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Bumper cars?"
"Oh yeah those are a lot of fun. They're little vehicles that have a rubber tire wrapped around them. And the purpose of the ride is you can crash into other cars as much as you want to!" Levi said.
"Levi, remember how we always made it a point to ride the bumper cars at least once before we left an amusement park?" George said.
"Uh-huh I remember," Levi said.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" George cheered.
We went to go ride the bumper cars and it turned out that Zoey and Junior could go with us. Since the cars were only able to seat up to three people, Levi, Zoey and I were able to ride in the same car with Levi driving. What I thought was cool was that the wheel of the vehicle was set in such a way that you could hand the wheel over to another person in the car if you don't feel like driving anymore.
Levi grinned. "Hey Zoey!"
Zoey looked at him. "Yes Daddy?"
"Check this out!" Levi said.
He stepped on the gas and cashed after George's car. George was sitting with Junior and Junior saw Levi coming and warned George about it. George sped up and Levi chased him and it was as if they were playing a game of cat and mouse. Thankfully the seat belts in the vehicles were tied on properly because I was trying to keep Zoey from falling out of her seat regardless of her being able to sit in it properly.
I guess you could say that's a bit overprotective but I can't help it when it comes down to Zoey. She's my first child and I'll probably be just as overprotective with whatever children I have in the future.
As Levi chased George he caught up to him and finally managed to crash into his car. Zoey and Junior couldn't stop laughing and everyone else laughed along with them.
After we finished with the bumper cars we met up with Mom and Dad at a restaurant inside the park for food.
Mom smiled when she saw us. "So did you guys have fun?"
"Yeah we did!" Zoey said. "We went on the bumper cars! Of course Daddy was too busy chasing after Uncle George's car but it was still fun."
Dad laughed, "Oh yeah Levi and George we were always trying to chase each other on the bumper cars but that's what that ride is for. I'm glad you guys had fun. Although I bet Eve has never been to an amusement park before?"
I nodded. "Nope. Actually I've never heard of an amusement park until now."
Mom gasped, "Seriously?"
"Yeah, too busy training for my job," I said. "Didn't have the time for things like that anyway. Okay I wonder what type of food they have here?"
"Just your regular cheeseburgers and fries, nothing but junk food. Which makes sense considering this is an amusement park and a lot of people come here on vacation," Dad said.
"Yup, I'm going to eat junk food and worry about losing weight when we get back!" Mom said.
"Of course you will, dear," Dad said. "Everyone gains a few pounds while on vacation."
Mom glared at him. "What was that?"
Dad shrugged and looked away. "What? I'm just saying."
I covered my mouth to stifle a laugh.
Mom changed the subject. "Eve, you must try the funnel cake here!"
"And don't forget about the cotton candy!" George said.
That's what we ordered. We ordered funnel cake, cotton candy, a dozen cheeseburgers without any vegetables on them and it was funny because when we ordered the cheeseburgers the waitress had a look on her face that held a question that said 'are you sure you guys are going to eat all that food?' The look of surprise on the waitress's face was even funnier when she came back to find that all of the cheeseburgers were gone and all of the food had been eaten.
The funnel cake and cotton candy were interesting. The funnel cake tested like crispy bread and it had powdered sugar on it along with caramel drizzle. It was a really sweet tasting treat. It tasted good but it's not something that I would eat on a regular basis. Not to mention if someone was watching their weight funnel cake wouldn't be a good thing to eat on a regular basis.
We finished the day by watching fireworks before the park closed. As we got into the car that would take us back to the place that we were staying at I had Zoey fast asleep in my arms.
"This has been a really fun day today," I said. "It's been a while since I've felt this relaxed."
Levi smiled. "I'm glad you had fun today! It's good to see you smile."
Once we got back to our place I put Zoey to bed and went back to my room to see Levi sitting on the bed half naked. He motioned for me to sit on his lap and I did but I straddled him. "You know what would make a perfect ending to today?"
Levi grinned. "Sex?"
I grinned back. "I'm glad to see we're on the same page."
I took the rest of his clothes off and he took off mine. Having sex was the perfect ending for a perfect day.
