Hmmm….
Tremble!
Why am I suddenly feeling so cold and lethargic, and why is it so dark around me? I can't see anything. Just what is happening to me?
Swossh!
Huh?!
It suddenly feels warm. Where is this feeling coming from? It’s so comforting. I—I—I can't feel my body. What is this? How do I move?
Swoosh!
Did that come from my right?
Ughh!
Just move already! I want to go there. Turn around and move. I don't want to be alone in this cold.
Huh?!
The warmth is gone... No! Move! I want to follow this feeling. Please, move my body. Follow the warmth!
Swooossh!
"AH!"
The warmth is coming back. It’s covering me like a blanket. This feels so comforting-like I am melting. Is it moving in some direction?
Ohhh! I can see light ahead. We’re almost there! Thank you—whoever you are—for guiding me toward it.
Flash!
Argh! It's too bright. Everything just…. white.
I can feel my body again, but it feels weird like I am covered in some sticky liquid. And what’s this rusty smell? Why does it feel so familiar?
Wait--what's going on? Why can't I remember anything? What was I doing before I waking up?
I? I-I-I Who am I?
Why do I feel so scared? A-a-nd what does scared even mean?
Wait--this smell. I remember it now. It's the scent of the blood. But what is blood? What is everything? Everything feels so confusing.
"Uwaaah! Waaah!"
A sharp, high-pitched wail escape from my mouth as I try to speak, along with the wail comes the feeling of warmth surrounding me and caressing me gently.
This feels good… Let me just sleep like this.

In a brightly lit room, there were three women with one lying on the bed and others watching over her. The bed looked like something straight out of a princess story, crafted from wood with fine crafting on it and covered by a white veil from all sides except the one facing the two standing women.
The room was luxurious, with the bed at its centre. In one corner sat a plush sofa set with a small table between them. The floor was covered with a soft looking carpet of brownish color matching the bed.
To the right of the bed was a door, while another one adjacent to the sofa set. Besides the bed was an empty crib crafted from fine wood with it’s inside coated in soft white colored fabric.
The woman on the right had the appearance of a doctor, a white coat draped on her shoulders. She had waist length silky smooth blue hair tied in a ponytail, complementing her ocean-like eyes and porcelain skin, she looks beautiful, making her look like in her 30s.
Behind her stood an elderly woman with blond hair and golden eyes, her face adorned with wrinkles that spoke of age, though her sharp gaze suggested otherwise. Concern and expectation flickered in her eyes as she watched the woman on the bed.
While the women lying on the bed had platinum blue hairs and silvery irises. She has an anguished expression, going through the throes of labor. The doctor like lady helping her and the elder assisting them.
With the doctor continuously rubbing the hand of the lady laying on the bed and elder encouraging her.

"You can do it, Lumine. Push! remember about your husband and hold on!" the elder encouraged
"Aaaah!" Lumine screamed
"Focus Lumine, keep up the tension in your body and focus, push harder, you can do it." The doctor guided.
"Haah… haah… aaah!" Lumine gasped in pain.
The time continued with the intermittent anguished cries in the background and the reassurance of two people.
A few moments later when Lumine's screams sounded like it might burst her throat the sound suddenly stopped.
There was pin drop silence in the room, both the voices of Lumine and the two lady's ceased as they looked at the new born.
With a joyful tone the doctor announced,
"Congratulations, my lady. You’ve given birth to a healthy baby boy."
After hearing this Lumine exhaled deeply, her body slumping onto the bed. The elder quickly supported her, and helped to lie down comfortably.
The doctor carefully picked up the baby, but her face suddenly twisted with concern. She hurriedly began rubbing the tiny feet of the infant with care, checking him worriedly while walking a away from the bed.
As she continued a soft bluish light slowly approached the newborn and wrapped around him completely, cleansing the blood from his fragile body.
Lumine, having caught her breath, noticed the worried look on doctor’s face. In a weak voice, she asked,
"Is there something wrong, Cecil? Why do you look so worried? Mother…. is everything alright?"
The elder calmly assured her, "Everything is fine dear. Don't worry, just rest for now."
But as she approached Cecil, concern was evident in her own eyes as she looked at the baby. Leaning in, Cecil whispered in barely audible voice.
"Madam… The baby has born without any outward complications but there is a major problem, the baby has been born with weak heart and is rapidly losing the warmth from his body."
She met the elder’s gaze, her voice hoarse with urgency.
"If this continues, he may not survive the next few minutes. I am currently transferring my vitality to keep him warm, but we cannot continue this for long, I request you to use Complete Recovery on him."
The elder looked at Cecil with sharp eyes for a moment before she hearing a small moan of Lumine, she sighed.
"I understand what you are saying, but is there no other option. That spell is risky to use on a newborn, it drains the body too much."
"I will transfer a portion of life force from Mrs. Lumine as you cast the spell. This will reduce the risk significantly, also the burden won't be life threatening."
"….Sigh. I understand. Prepare the spell while I speak with Lumine."
"I understand, madam."
The elder quickly approached Lumine with heavy heart wondering how to explain the situation.
As she neared, she saw Lumine with a resolute look in her eyes and she sighed again and looked at her with pained eyes.
"So... you heard everything?" the elder asked.
"No, mother. I only heard that I will need to give my life force to my baby."
"I see." The elder thought for a moment and continued "It is as you heard, we will need to use Complete Recovery on the baby to save him. To ease the burden, you will have to share your lifeforce."
"I will do it, mother. Please proceed."
"Even though it will not threaten your life directly, but it will cut your lifespan, this may sound harsh to you, but are you sure? You may lose up to twenty years of your life."
With a resolute look in her eyes Lumine gazed back at elder without thinking for a moment and answered in a labored voice,
"Yes, mother, I understand your concern but, I am the one who gave birth to him. So he is my responsibility."
After speaking she started taking deep breaths, the elder sat near her and took her hand in her own.
After catching her breath Lumine continued with a blooming smile:
"Besides… he’s my sweetheart. I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t do everything I could. I don’t mind losing a bit of my lifespan."
"So please continue with the procedure."
After looking at the smile of Lumine the elder gave a weak nod and gestured the Cecil to perform the spell.
Cecil approached placing the baby in Alice’s arms. Then, placing one hand on the baby’s head and the other near Lumine’s heart, she began concentrating.
Alice also started focusing with her left hand over the baby’s heart.
When both of them were ready they looked at each other and gave a nod, before Cecil spoke.
"Lumine, as we progress you will feel weak and lethargic. Please bear with it and stay focused. I know you are already drained, but this is the only way to save him."
Lumine gave a small nod, and the process began.
Slowly a golden light enveloped the baby, while a green light emanated from Lumine, flowing through the Cecil’s hand and reached the newborn.
This process continued for a few minutes with all three of them anxiously looking at baby to catch any reaction from him.
Then—his eyelids fluttered.
His tiny body twitched.
After seeing this they breathed a sigh of relief and continued, when suddenly the baby opened his beautiful golden eyes which looked like miniature sun captivating the three women.
Until, his piercing cry filled the room.
"Uwaaah! Waaah!"
As they heard his cry, relief washed over the three women. Cecil quickly gave a white silk cloth to Alice, she carefully wrapped the baby and handed him to Lumine.
Lumine gently took the crying child and looked at him, then she brought him in her embrace and started soothing him. She brought him near her chest to feed him.
A few moments passed before the child stopped crying and started drinking milk slowly.
As this went on Alice took Cecil and went near the sofa to give the mother and child some personal time.
"You did a great job, thank you for your effort."
"It’s my honor madam, to help the lady."
"There should not be any more issues with the child, but if something happens, please do inform me."
"Yes."
As the two women sat down to rest, they listened to the gentle lullaby Lumine sang, accompanied by the peaceful breathing of her newborn son.
After a few moments Alice got up and went to check up on Lumine as their sounds ceased.
As she approached, she made a kind smile as she saw both of them had fallen asleep, with Lumine holding him close to her bosom and supporting with her hand on his back, while the baby held her finger with his tiny hands.
