Chapter 21: Bathroom Clash (Part One)

Chapter 21: Bathroom Clash (Part One)

Outside, it was slightly warm, the light was dim, he kept holding her hand and walked ahead in big strides. The snow fell following his footsteps, inevitably stumbling a bit. Behind them were the servants who had been sent out to see them off. She wanted to pull back her hand but found that it was being held tightly by him, and her palm couldn't help but sweat slightly.

He walked all the way to the car, opened the door, and with one hand on top of the car, let her in carefully. The action made her feel a momentary sense of familiarity, as if he was treating her like a precious gem, taking extra care to protect her.

He sat down from the other side, and the car was instantly filled with his breath. However, after closing the door, the enclosed space blocked out everything outside, but only made her feel cold.

Still silent, all the way. Returned to the original villa, the car had just stopped, he had already opened the door and got out of the car, as if he had forgotten that there was still a her sitting beside him.

Snow doesn't mind at all, it's just very strange, will he stay tonight?

But before she could think further, another matter occupied her mind. She hastily got off the bus and was busy searching everywhere for Xue Bai, not knowing if it had been injured or frightened and run away.

Finally, in the grass thicket of the garden, I found Snow White crouched there. As soon as she heard my voice, she let out a busy hum. Her black eyes, under the dim lamp light, looked especially clear.

"Snow White, where are you hurt? Where does it hurt?" Snow reached out to hug her, but she suddenly let out a loud cry and struggled to get up, only to fall down again. It was then that she realized Snow White's front paws refused to touch the ground.

"Snow White, let me take a look. We'll bandage it up and it will be fine by tomorrow..." She carefully stretched out her hand, Snow White didn't resist either, knowing she wouldn't hurt it, allowing itself to be picked up and carried towards the house.

After finishing the snow, she realized it was already late at night. The snow fell on her shoulders as she went upstairs and entered the bathroom to take a bath. Normally, she would just rinse off quickly, but today she felt particularly relaxed and saw the shiny bathtub, so she decided to fill it with water and soak in it. What's more, she had forgotten that there was someone else in the house.

Just as she was about to fall asleep, the bathroom door opened without warning, and she too woke up completely after that noise.

She stared wide-eyed at the person entering the doorway, quickly grabbed a towel that had been placed to one side and wrapped it around her body submerged in water. He too seemed taken aback when he saw her.

But just for a moment, he ignored her panic and screams, and instead calmly turned on the faucet to wash his hands slowly.

"Don't you even lock the door when you take a bath?" His languid voice rose, shifting all the blame to her, but he was the one who had intruded, what right did he have to criticize her?
