An Almost Normal Day (Part 2)

Lyna regretted many things in her life. Not studying harder for exams, not reading the watch’s instructions more carefully before using it for the first time, and now, being born close enough to YūYūy to become her personal guinea pig.

"Well, well, well," YūYūy said with a mischievous smile. "Lyna, I need you to take care of that table."

Lyna looked at the group of boys in the corner. All of them had eager expressions, ready to be served by a girl in a maid outfit.

  "No."

  "Yes."

  "No."

  "Yes."

"YūYūy, I’m going to kill you."

"And I’ll cry at your funeral. Now, move."

With a defeated sigh, Lyna grabbed a notepad and walked over to the table.

  "Welcome. What do you want?"

The boys exchanged glances. One of them, clearly the leader, smiled suspiciously.

"Could you say it with more… enthusiasm? Like a real maid?"

Lyna gave him a look that screamed, I don’t get paid enough for this.

"I don’t get paid at all."

"Lyna…" YūYūy sang from the back.

Gathering all the dignity she could muster, Lyna forced a smile.

"Welcome, masters! What would you like to order?"

The boys clapped. She just wanted to die.

  But YūYūy wasn’t done yet.

"Now, Lyna, do the special pose with the love spell!"

  "I’m jumping out the window."

"Don’t be dramatic. Come on, do it."

With a deep sigh, Lyna raised her hands in the shape of a heart.

  "Moe, moe, kyun~!"

The boys nearly exploded with happiness. YūYūy laughed in the background, enjoying every second of her torment.

  But the humiliation wasn’t over.

"Lyna, we have a special request for the ‘Favorite Maid.’"

  "I’m not the Favorite Maid."

  "You are now."

YūYūy handed her a plate with an omelet and a bottle of ketchup.

"You have to write something cute on the food before serving it."

  "I’m writing ‘death.’"

  "That’s not cute."

  "It is to me."

In the end, she ended up drawing a ridiculous heart on the omelet with the word happiness. The dead look on her face contrasted with the message.

The event went on for hours, with Lyna forced to play absurd games, take pictures with customers, and, in one particularly painful moment, participate in a contest to see who could say kyun the most adorably.

When the day was finally over, Lyna collapsed onto a chair while YūYūy counted the money they had earned.

"It was a total success! Thanks, Lyna!"

"I’m going to kill Matsuda just to release all the rage I built up today."

  "Awww, I love you."

  "Die."

The fanservice day was over, but her real problem remained. Matsuda was still alive. But not for long.
