Dear diary,

  I cleaned my room today.

  Usually one of the maids would clean my room but I've asked Bitsy to make them stop so I can practice doing it myself. At the boarding school I'm going to, we're not allowed to bring our maids with us. I figured I should learn so I don't embarrass myself and make more work for my roommates.

  The maid that usually cleans my room taught me how to make my bed, dust the furniture, fold my clothes, and sweep the floors. Cleaning's hard work, but when you finish doing everything, the sense of satisfaction you get is totally worth it.
