Chapter 29: Camping through the night with encounters
After admiring Thalia’s new look, they both started to walk towards a mountainous area in the hope to find shelter for the night, as the sun slowly but surely wandered lower and lower and the night was approaching. During their search they came across a few others, which were looking for shelter. Everyone remained peaceful.
As the sun dipped behind the horizon, Xhemile and Thalia finally found a suitable spot to camp for the night.
It was a small cave, which would protect them from rain and other things. The cave didn't go far into the cliff, they both came across as they searched. They looked at each other and wordlessly started to look for supplies for the night.
Thalia went out hunting, meanwhile Xhemile gathered firewood to start a small campfire.
After a collecting enough wood, she started the fire, which worked surprisingly well. After that, Thalia came back from hunting with a small deer on her shoulders. They both started to dismantle and skin the deer.
Soon enough both had finished. Xhemile started to look for some salt in her cleavage pocket, which earned her from Thalia a bemused look. After she found it and applied it on the meat, she put them on her iron spear tip and started to roast it in the fire. Thalia did this with a stick. After a bit of waiting, the meat was roasted and ready to eat.
They both nodded at each other and started to eat the meat. The smell of roasted meat filled the cave, as well as the outside.
“This tastes good, but I wish we had some more spices...”
“Yeah, my castles location doesn't exactly offer much, despite meat and water.”
Thalia looked towards Xhemile.
“Well, I had some spice with me, but the system took them away from me.”
“What spices grow under the earth?!”
Xhemile looked at Thalia confused.
“For starters, there is salt in my cave, as well as some cave plants which had some unique aroma or resembled other spices from home.”
Xhemile leaned forward.
“Why don't you sell me some spices? We could finally eat something other than roasted meat with salt and a few dates!”
“Wait you have dates?”
They both looked at each other and suddenly started to giggle.
“But, for real. I could sell you some dates and in return you give me some spices or other edible plants.”

They both looked at each other and shook hands.
Suddenly they heard footsteps coming from the entrance of the cave.
A small band of goblins appeared after smelling the meat and seeing light in the cave. As they looked around, they also saw two beautiful females standing next to the fire.
They shrieked in high tones as their eyes scanned the two women's bodies. Xhemile looked with a disgusted expression towards Thalia, which only shrugged her shoulders and drew an arrow from her quiver.
The three goblins started to laugh as they saw her aiming her bow, but this laughter stopped abruptly as the first goblin fell down with an arrow in its head.
They looked with shock towards the arrow then towards Thalia. They then looked at each other and started to rush her. This is when one of the noticed that the other female had a spear in her hands. It tried to warn its fellow kin but was cut off as the spear tip pierced its small throat. The last goblin stood there shocked and couldn't react in time as Thalia's second arrow pierced its heart.
“Disgusting creatures...”
“Well, I know that they are disgusting, these same fellows with darker skin tone are all around my castle and try to abduct my subjects as soon as they see them. On the first day I almost was caught as well, but fortunately one of my subjects saved me.”
Thalia explained to Xhemile.
“Kinda, reminds of the chat messages from different lords with goblin problems...”
They relaxed but soon heard other steps approaching.
They got combat ready again.
Soon the hurried steps were inside the cave.
Suddenly a small girl jumped towards them.
Xhemile stunned, caught the girl in her arms. After the girl, two goblins appeared, which were chasing her. They shrieked angered but soon quieted down as Thalia dispatched them from this realm.
The small girl in Xhemile’s arms was probably around 6 to 8 years old and funnily enough, had two horns on her head and a scaled tail on her small butt.
The girl was trembling on her entire body and soon started to try to escape in a panic.
Xhemile, clearly stronger, held her to calm down and started to speak to her softly.
The girl had other thoughts, she started to cry and resist with all her strength.
Suddenly Thalia stepped forward and pressed the girls head directly between Xhemile’s breasts. Xhemile looked at her confused, but met a confident gaze.
Despite her thoughts, the girl miraculously calmed down. She then wrapped her small arms around her neck more trustfully.
After the crying stopped, the girl risked a glance at the person, which held her. The first thing she saw were the two melons and dark skin, then a beautiful female face. She noticed movement and also looked at Thalia. She was surprised that the people, which calmed her down were two beautiful women.
She looked behind her and noticed the dead goblins at the entrance.
The women let the girl adjust somewhat without interfering. After that she became embarrassed and motioned to be let down.
Xhemile set the small girl down. The girl brushed her clothes a bit, then she bowed towards them.
“Thank you for saving me!”
The child's clear voice echoed through the cave.
“What’s your name little girl?”
Thalia looked towards the little girl and bend her knees to be less intimidating.
“My name is Natsu! I’m 8 years old!”
“What does a small girl like you, do outside at this hour?”
Natsu pouted at the small girl part.
“I wanted to find shelter, but those green monsters started to hunt me!...
So can I stay here for tonight?”
She asked with her big eyes and Xhemile couldn't resist anymore.
She leaned forward and petted the girl.
“Of course you can stay~”
The girl completely distracted by the two melons, could only say one thing.
“Mom...”
“PFFFFFFT! HAHAHAHA!”
