Voidrend Slash, the second BOSS skill Lucas had obtained.

After slaying three Skeleton Commanders and numerous elite skeletons under their command, Lucas's free attribute points had long surpassed the number 20.

Before coming here, Lucas had also spent 13 free attribute points to max out his second skill, Skyrend Slash, and evolve it into a BOSS skill.

Voidrend Slash: Active skill, an advanced version of Skyrend Slash, non-upgradable. Consumes one-twentieth of stamina to release a light blade covering a 120-degree arc in front, dealing double the damage of a normal attack to enemies within the area. Each enemy slain causes the light blade to split once, dealing half of the previous damage as splash damage to enemies within the area.

Judging from the skill description, Voidrend Slash didn't seem much stronger than Skyrend Slash.

  What is a normal attack?

It's a strike delivered with Lucas's current strength and agility, combined with the sharpness of his bone glaive!

To put it simply, at this point, Lucas could easily kill an elite-rank skeleton with a single strike.

  What is splash damage?

  It's like this!

  Voidrend Slash!

A dark red light blade instantly erupted from the bone glaive, crossing the few meters between Lucas and the skeleton squad, and struck the nearest skeleton archer.

  Without a doubt.

This advanced-rank skeleton archer was instantly killed.

And as it killed the skeleton archer, ten smaller dark red light blades split off, flying in all directions! These smaller light blades were the splash damage!

If that were all, this skill wouldn't be anything special.

  But!

After killing the first skeleton archer, the dark red light blade continued forward, killing the second, third, and fourth skeleton archers in its path.

Each time it killed a skeleton archer, the light blade split again.

And those smaller light blades (dealing 1x damage) would split again (dealing 0.5x damage) after killing an advanced skeleton!

Each time an enemy was killed, the light blade would split again.

  This cycle repeated.

Until all enemies within the light blade's range were killed, or the final split light blades were no longer strong enough to kill the enemies, this near-infinite splitting would stop!

  This was terrifying.

Because, if Lucas's initial attack was strong enough and the enemies were densely packed, theoretically, this skill could split infinitely! Until all enemies were annihilated!

  This was Voidrend Slash!

A skill that, in theory, could wipe out hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of enemies in a single strike!

  On the castle wall.

  Lucas swung his blade once.

Countless small dark red light blades filled every inch of space within a radius of dozens of meters.

Under this dense and sharp assault, the skeleton squad didn't even last a single breath before being completely annihilated, reduced to scattered bones on the ground.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

  Lucas ignored the remains.

After finishing this, he crouched down, using the inner parapet of the wall as cover, and quietly made his way toward the other side of the wall.

  There stood an arrow tower.

His first target... a warrior-rank Bone Sniper, was in that arrow tower!

The skeleton squad on this section of the wall had been cleared, and no new skeletons would arrive for a while. What he needed to be careful of was not being spotted by the skeleton squads on the other three walls.

The Death Castle was filled with powerful beings.

Just the number of warrior-rank skeletons alone was at least a dozen.

If the skeletons discovered his presence and raised an alarm, he would immediately face a swarm of warrior-rank and elite-rank skeletons.

Even with two BOSS skills, Lucas didn't believe he could escape unscathed from being surrounded by a dozen or even dozens of high-ranking undead like dark mages, bone snipers, skeleton swordsmen, and skeleton jailers.

  As for the skeletons...

Wasn't the ultimate essence of stealth to go all out?

As long as he killed every skeleton that spotted him, naturally, no one would know he had infiltrated the Death Castle!

  Moving forward bit by bit.

Lucas quickly approached the arrow tower.

When he reached the base of the tower, he paused, curling up in a small corner. From this corner, Lucas only needed to lean out slightly to see the Bone Sniper in the arrow tower.

  Similarly.

With a single charge, he could cross a short set of steps and rush behind the Bone Sniper in the tower!

However he wasn't in a hurry to act.

Entering the Death Castle, Lucas needed to pay attention to two main points.

First, he must not alert the skeletons in the castle, lest he be surrounded by a large number of warrior-rank, elite-rank, and advanced-rank skeletons.

Second, he needed to be mindful of the Skeleton King's return time.

Lucas didn't know how the Skeleton King governed its warrior-rank skeletons.

If it was through skills like the Skeleton General's intimidation or the Skeleton Warrior's suppression, even if he killed all the skeletons in the Death Castle, the Skeleton King wouldn't notice at all.

In this case, it would only return after annihilating Lucas's skeletal legion.

If it was a method similar to Lucas's enslavement, as soon as he killed any warrior-rank skeleton in the Death Castle, the Skeleton King would know that an intruder had entered the castle!

In this scenario, the Skeleton King would likely return to the Death Castle as quickly as possible to eliminate the intruder!

  Lucas didn't dare to gamble.

So he waited for the right moment.

Time passed slowly, and Lucas remained motionless in the corner, like a lifeless corpse.

Finally, after more than ten minutes had passed, a flood of information suddenly refreshed on his attribute panel.

  Lucas's figure shot forward!
