I was rexing with Nix after "defeating" the adventurers when Camity came running into the hallway. She looked worried, which was not a good sign.

  "Girls, you know when I said that the void swarm wasn't going to show up here again? Well, it seems like I was wrong. There's a lot of them this time too, which is not normal at all." (Camity)

  I was correct, this was an issue. If there were several monsters like the one from st time inside the mansion, it could become extremely dangerous.

  "Mom, what are you going to do? You can't let those scary bugs in here, right?" (Nix)

  "No, I have to exterminate all of them. They would cause massive destruction if they got out into the world. I can kill them all, that's not a problem. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be safe for the both of you to stay here while I do it." (Camity)

  Camity was dead serious. From what I understood, this meant that Nix and I would have to leave the mansion for a bit.

  "I think that we will have to speed up your pns to become adventurers by quite a bit. I would have prefered to teach the both of you a few more tricks, but there's no time, unfortunately." (Camity)

  "So... how exactly are we doing this?" (Dragonfly)

  "Ah, right, that's important. I can teleport you to the Holy Kingdom of Sanctus. It's on another continent, so the Gcius Empire won't cause you trouble. Plus, from what I know, they don't really have the same discrimination issues as here." (Camity)

  That seemed promising. I wasn't completely convinced that I wouldn't have any issues there, but it was worth a shot. It did beat staying here and getting attacked by the void swarm, at least.

  "Wait, does this mean that you won't come with us?" (Nix)

  Nix's tail was just hanging downards, sadly. That was unnacceptable. I was about to comfort her, but I wasn't fast enough. Camity pulled her into a hug before I could even take a single step.

  To be fair, I would also probably miss Camity's shenanigans. I wasn't going to cry over it, however. And I absolutely did not want a hug either.

  Unfortunately for my pride, I began being pulled towards the two witches by an invisible force and quickly ended up joining the hug. I was a bit confused as to how Camity had known that I wanted in too until I remembered that I had a tail, just like Nix. Well, I got a hug out of it, so it was fine.

  "I'll visit as much as I can, don't worry. I wouldn't want to leave you two unsupervised for too long. I wouldn't want you two to accidentally cause global chaos or something, after all." (Camity)

  Her pnning to visit us was really nice, but what was she trying to insinuate here? We were only pnning to destroy one empire, not the whole world!

  ...

  Anyways, Camity eventually backed out of the hug and took out a strange device that looked like a bck rectangur box with a wide cylinder on one side. I had never seen anything like it. As for from where she has pulled it out? I had no clue.

  "I'm technically not supposed to do this, but nobody cares. This thing is called a camera, I think. I got it from a friend a while back. From what I know, it can make an image of a moment and put it on paper, which is pretty cool. Here, let me try it out, don't move." (Camity)

  The strange device began to float before turning around and pointing the cylinder at us. Three pieces of paper with what looked like a picture of Camity, Nix and I came out of the bottom of the box shortly afterwards. The older witch promptly grabbed those before distributing them.

  "Ohhhh, this is like a memory, but solid!" (Nix)

  "There, now we can be sure that we'll never forget this moment. Unfortunately, it's time for you two to go. Oh, right, you'll need good equipment, don't you? There, Dragonfly, I put some stuff in your storage. I also threw a letter for the Adventurers Guild in there, just give it to the receptionist when registering." (Camity)

  Wait, she could put things in my storage? What?

  "Nix, no need to look like this is my funeral or something, I didn't become the demigoddess of pranks and witchcraft just to die to a bunch of oversized insects." (Camity)

  "Wait, what? Demigo-" (Dragonfly)

  That was the st thing I said before noticing that I was in the middle of a normal looking forest. There was a significant ck of snow compared to the previous forest that I had ended up in, however. I also wasn't alone, at least. Did Camity really need to announce that she was literally a demigoddess right before sending us out, tho? Right, of course she didn't. She probably just thought that it would be really funny to mess with me.
