Chapter 83: Just Want to Go Out and Play with You

"Still a bit rough around the edges." Anthony said, carrying over some wine, and then walked in.

On the dining table, there were seven candelabras, and when Cynthia looked up, she could only see that carved wooden ugly face hidden in the dim candlelight.

As she munched on waffles, she pondered the likelihood of being kicked out again if she went back to his room to sleep tonight.

Cynthia felt a wave of suffocation when she thought that the perfume on her body had actually touched his sore spot.

  It's been bought by Bai.

"Have some juice." Joe poured her a glass of tomato juice.

Cynthia took a sip of juice and sneaked a few glances at Kael, who had only taken a few sips of wine throughout the whole time. She bit her lip thoughtfully for a moment before deciding to try a different tactic, as being angry clearly wasn't working.

She pushed the chair back and stood up, with one hand holding her cup and the other pulling the chair, letting it scrape against the stone floor with an ear-piercing sound until she stopped at Kael's right-hand side.

She regretted it too quickly, and even the unfinished meal in the plate was still being reacted to by Qiao, who had just brought it back for her.

"Kaius." Cynthia called out to him in a dejected tone.

The elegant young man took a sip of wine, his eyes not focusing on anything, nor looking at her.

Anthony let everyone out and closed the door.

"After I finished eating, I went to take a bath." She handed him the plate with a piece of untouched waffle. "Want to try some?"

For this piece of food that was brought to his lips along with the pungent aroma, Kael's gaze focused on the waffle.

  "Get out of the way."

His voice was cold and his refined face was expressionless, but Cynthia could tell that he was in a bad mood, and the culprit was her.

Cynthia obediently withdrew her hand, moved the stool closer to him, and said to herself: "I don't have to go to that hunting season, I just want to go out and play with you."

"Play?" Kael's expression turned cold and unfamiliar, with a fleeting look of confusion. He lowered his eyelids, rotated his eyeballs, and stared at her in a low voice, "Xin Siya, how old are you?"

  "Uh-huh, 16 years old."

She pursed her lips, revealing her age, and slumped her shoulders. "I used to spend most of my time in the palace because of my position as a saintess, I was never allowed to go far away."

She was a bit nervous, twisting her fingers, with a tone of grievance and panic, "You don't have to agree, just let Qiao take me out and that's it."

  Look how pitiful she is.

Cynthia's blue eyes misted over with tears, her nose was red and her head hung down.

She picked up a waffle from the plate and slowly chewed it in her mouth.

Have to say, Qiao is good at everything she does, and her culinary skills are even better than a chef's. She'll fatten him up into a ball sooner or later.

Maybe I've really gained some weight these two days?

She couldn't help but secretly pinch her own little waist.

"Don't touch that smelly thing, I'll take you there." A cold voice suddenly came from above her head, scaring Cynthia into stopping immediately.

She suddenly raised her head, and her eyes sparkled with light in an instant, "Really!"

  "Hmm." Kael grumbled in response.

Perhaps it was because she was only 16 years old, and her life had not been as long as a single strand of his hair, or perhaps it was because she looked too pitiful that he felt a pang in his heart. Whatever the reason, he decided to take her out himself.

With a happy and satisfied expression after finishing dinner, she followed Kaito out with a skip in her step, the two of them walking together again. The three fallen angels cleaning up the dining hall behind them were left speechless, with Anthony commenting, "It's actually pretty easy to deceive adults."

Then he received a knife-like glance from Qiao, "You can go say that in front of him."

Anthony Limah gathered his wits, "I wouldn't want to be clipped of wings."

Regarding the content of Dark Hymn, Cynthia had asked Kaelus at night.

But he didn't give her a clear answer, just told her to finish watching and then talk.

Lying on the soft bed in the bedroom, the window is wide open, and the moonlight outside is very beautiful.

Not feeling very sleepy, Cynthia got out of bed wearing her nightgown and went up to the rooftop terrace.

Wrapped in a coral plush blanket, curled up on the chair.

The blanket still retained a faint scent of peppermint from Kael's body, a smell that always seemed to calm her down.

She began to miss her 300-square-meter house and expensive red wine.

Gazing at the Milky Way above her head, Cynthia's eyes were dazed and distant.

Suddenly, a dull sound came from somewhere far away, startling a flock of birds on Mount Pisces. They flew out of the forest where they were perched and filled half the sky above Cynthia's head with their black silhouettes.

She leaned back in her chair and stared at the scene in surprise, "What's going on."

Right behind them, the door on the balcony was opened and out came Anthony, Joe and Ebral.

"Go back to your room, Cynthia." Antony's face no longer held a smile, but an unusual seriousness and a fierce aura.

She hastily got down from the chair, and Caius also appeared on the balcony. Compared to the serious expressions of the fallen angels, he only coldly gave Cynthia the same command, "Go back to your room."

No one told her what had happened, but whatever could shock a god couldn't be trivial.

Cynthia didn't hesitate and immediately went downstairs and into her room.

But she didn't expect that for the whole night, neither Kyrios nor Anthony came back after they went out.

She also can't really sleep like nothing's wrong, after all if something happens to Kael, whether or not she can go home is an unknown.

A person stayed in a cold castle for one night until dawn when Cynthia was really too tired to hold on.

She entered Kayus's bedroom, lit the fireplace inside, and curled up on his bed to sleep.

"It has actually entered the Eternal Night Forest, it's truly inconceivable. After so many years, this is still our first time killing a giant."

Antony circled around the gigantic corpse that had been transported back.

"There's the first one, which means they've already started preparing for large-scale migration. The climate of the Kermanshah Mountains may have been ruined by them." Joe analyzed calmly.

"Go tell Austin to come and take the body back." Kael gazed coldly at the humanoid creature with massive fangs, pondered for a moment, then ordered in a chilly tone, "Don't let Cynthia see it."

"Yes." Anthony accepted the order, his eyes flashing with an unusual light.

Caius strode into the castle and went straight to the third floor, opening the door to Cynthia's bedroom. Seeing that her bed was empty, his eyes narrowed dangerously.

Cynthia felt a very aggressive gaze in her sleep, which woke her up from her light sleep.

Her eyelashes fluttered closed, and her almond-shaped eyes opened a tiny slit. She found the room was very dark, with only a faint light flickering from the fireplace.
